The woman that works at this location is amazing the guys was okay but seemed a little unhelpful for the most part. They sent a bad U-Haul. To his defense he was helpful on helping me save money but somehow the main issue I had with them got resolved. So I will be using them again.TERRY M.

I barely drove the truck I had and they took my whole deposits talking about I ran over the miles and only made 2 runs that wasn't fair apartJOSH R.
The male owner was so mean and rude I came from out of state back home had uhaul storage and movers from uhaul website first off uhaul storage and truck contacted me and said I couldn't get my truck from who I originally picked that's ok but then no units available for the storage reserved I found someone else myself for a golden deal then the location for u haul was so rude trying to overcharge me more than was needed and or quoted I've not gotten many uhauls over the years but they have never had a pending charge they held my card account information and charged it when I came back that's cool beans but I did end up with $1.17 credit the guy was trying to get the truck back in 5 hours when I'm allowed 24 hours who the heck does he think he is placing that much pressure on someone trying to relocate stressful enough as it is; also says set the emergency brake when you return the truck it wasn't set when I received the truck I set it though and it really needs vacuuming in the driver area; lastly the movers scheduled through uhaul never showed up my 65 year old mother and I took two days to move everything out of my house and in the storage bruises all over our bodies stiff body in excruciating pain I was to be back to work Saturday with a Friday move I had to pay uhaul money for an extra day for the truck and miss 200 dollars for work Saturday 200 dollars Sunday while uhaul gets an extra day of money and the money for the movers is on hold pending on my account is holding my money so a total loss for me and finding my own storage this was the most horrible experience in life yet I shouldn't be responsible for the second day because your movers didn't show if they aren't legit they shouldn't populate on your siteLavetrice M.

If you're going to have routine maintenance on your website, don't let people set up appointments to pick up their vehicles via the website at those times. I spent a half hour trying to pick up my van today, and both your website and your app said tbe site was down for routine maintenance. I checked in the night before, prior to my appointment, went through the entire process on the app, and then went through it again on the website, just to be hit with the maintenance message. I am still livid that I lost a half hour of my schedule trying to just pick up my van.Kristina W.
Unfortunately I got the truck stuck in some mud and I called a tow truck to get it out. I had the insurance on the truck but I didn't know if that would've covered the tow. Outside of that good experience.JUAN V.

The truck I was issued had very loose/sloppy steering. There was about 20 to 30 degrees of play before the wheels reacted. It maid it difficult to smoothly maintain a straight path and reliably steer the truck especially in city traffic. I only had a short local move so I managed with it, but I would hav hesitated to take it on a longer trip.Michael M.
Reserved an appliance dolly. Was not available at pickup. No apology was offered. Had to go to Grand Rental Station to rent a appliance dolly. Will not rent from that location or from U-haul again when there are other options.Scott R.

The truck I was assigned was bigger than the one I reserved. That did complicate getting it in to the places I needed to park to load and unload. It would have been nice to know about this before I arrived for the pickup. I supposedly had a confirmed reservation.Michael M.

My order was incorrect, tried telling me I had to have it returned in 23 hrs instead of agreement I had made w April which was before 9 am on Sunday. Truck had crap in back from previous renters. Vehicle was not very well maintained. Operators at this location tried to insist that I sign an acceptance of vehicle condition without walking around the vehicle. There were more damage stickers on the outside then there was intact vinyl wrap on the box portion of the truck. A large chunk of metal was missing from the front passenger side of the box. Without informing us about the issue, the ignition tumbler sticks almost every single time, almost leaving us stranded. They claimed that the gas tank was 'FULL' when it was parked facing down a significant slope it read barely in F. Drove less than 20 miles and to fill it up took 5 gallons! Will never trust or use this location again.JASON M.
Replace the truck. First abs light is on shouldn't even have been rented like that. The the steering wheel at 4 o clock when driving straight. The exhaust is leaking and causing poor fuel economy too. I've got alot of uhauls in my day that was the worst truck I've ever been in from u haul.DANIEL H.

Inside of cab needed vacuumed out. There was a cashew nut in the middle of the floor and some kind of spill on the mat in the back of the van. Beyond those 2 issues it was great.Maureen D.

I prepaid for my reservation online and received confirmation. When I got to Sun Copies, the older gentleman working told me the truck was not reserved yet. He started a new reservation for me and told me it would be â€œcheaperâ€ to drive all the way back to this location from St. Louis to drop it off. The mileage is over $1 per mile after the original miles You are given so I would've been spending an additional $60. He continued saying that it would be cheaper even after I said no, I'll drop it off in St. Louis where I was moving anyway. He did not fill out the gas marker, so I had no idea how much gas was even in the car to start because it wasn't marked. We filled it up at the end but I could've wasted money considering I had no reference point of where to fill it back up to. There was a sign saying if not fully fueled back up I would incur a $30 fee. How can you charge a fee when you didn't even tell me how much gas there was in the first place? When we got to St. Louis, we returned the truck to the Dutchtown location as I originally indicated on my online reservation (that the man said never went through) and even the worker at the Dutchtown location stated what the man at Sun Copies told me was incorrect and false information to drive the truck back for a cheaper amount. This is unprofessional of U-Haul to be having people like this represent your company, and I will not be renting from them again. The fact that such misinformation was spread and I was intimidated/attempted to be forced into returning a truck that would cost me MORE MONEY is a form of price-gauging and is not right. You should be ashamed and I am disappointed that I spent $109 on such service.Briana C.

The on-duty service rep, Gunna Ravi needs some customer service training. When asked questions for clarity, in regards to information needed to complete the rental transaction, he became disrespectful and inappropriate. I would gladly recommend the U-Haul rental services at this location if this particular individual was not the representative a customer would have to encounter.Brandon D.

Everything was okay except I was charged for two days. I told the man I needed a trailer for about 4 hrs. I ended up using trailer for 4 1/2 hrs, returned it at 7:30p. He closed at 7p. They don't tell you that unless you specifically ask for a 24 hr rental, same price, they go to a 6 hr rental. Since he was closed he decided I used it for two 6 hr rentals - even tho a 24 hr rental costs same as a 6 hr. BUT you have to state you want it for 24 hrs. I called uhaul and they are giving me a refund.JON M.

I have mixed reviews about my experience with renting in the St Louis area. I purchased a couch in Fairview and needed a truck for a one way trip. The first location that I went to rent a uhaul from was Midwest Clearance Center which was across the street from Value City Furniture. Being from Carbondale this was the closet Value city Furniture store. After my information was taken I was told that â€œ it's was frowned upon for them to rent me a one way truckâ€. I was very disappointed by this because I had to drive further away to another uhaul location to pick up another truck. Luckily the Sun Copies location was only a few miles away and doesn't frown upon truck rentals regardless of in town or one way trips!Gerrett C.

Make sure you have photos of online order. I had to remind the representative that I reserved furniture moving covers. I was told if I drove ten miles I would need to refill with gas and leave gas monitor at 1/4 of a tank. I drove ten miles.I got gas and the meter read 1/4 tank. The representative stated I was under 1/4 tank. However, once, I took a picture of the gas meter, he then said there would not be an extra charge. I believe he wanted the tank to read slightly more than 1/4 of a tank. But the policy stated I only need to bring it back with 1/4 of a tank.Carol W.

I requested 10 hours for the single day truck on my reservation online. (Which was still within their business hours) The clerk told me I was only allowed 4-6 hours, and told me my move wouldn't take that long. He argued with me that 'they don't do 10 hours' and 'what do you need 10 hours for' and basically bullied me into submission. Well, we just barely got the truck back with 10 minutes to spare and I still have stuff I need to move that I've taken to hoping I can find a friend with a truck. When I brought it back, he acted like it was a bad thing we drove so few miles. It was a terrible experience. The truck itself though was a good truck, drove well, and did a good job for the little time we got out of it.Sean G.
