The step van was ready to go and I was late so I got a call to confirm my appointment and she was very nice when I explained that all my help was running late. The pickup was done quickly but don't bring the kids because it is also a really great candy store. It was a little hard getting out of the parking lot on a Saturday with the traffic on 34.JAMES G.

Owner was very nice. Strap on transport was stuck. Had to drive to another location to get another transport. Added a day, but didn't need it. Would have preferred some free gas since I had to drive out of my way to get there, then drive to another location, then back to load my car, then drive from there. That added about 50 miles and 3 hours to my trip.John G.

One trailer offered had almost bald tires, we chose the other with better tires as we were going cross country. The owner checked the lights on the trailer and said they all worked even though I could not tell if they were on or not. The tail lights were not working the whole trip.Robert P.
With the quick turn around they were unable to clean the windshield and that's OK but it was a bug splattered mess. Not a problem because I know how to clean the windshield but the staff could not have been kinder more courteous polite and friendly and that's why I went back to rent from them again.chris P.

My experience with this rental was excellent. The lady at Sunny Jims Candy Ranch was both friendly and competent. She handled both the pickup and return expeditiously. The truck was new and clean. I would recommend U-Haul at this location to anyone.Roger L.

When I arrived with my 20' truck and auto transport there was only one person there. She asked me to back to AT up to an area of the location and take off the AT myself. She then commented that I needed to fold up all the furniture pads up myself and them take them upstairs to a room and bag them for her. I informed her that I used to work for a company that rented U-Haul equipment and that the customer should not be responsible for this. I told her she needed to do it and she said, "I dont know how". She then said her mother was coming and that she could do it. I told her that expecting the customer to unhook equipment and put away pads was not acceptable She said ok and that it would get taken care if later. I then left quite annoyed with that experience.Barry T.

The truck had a check engine light on when we picked it up. I was told by the local rep. that it was no big deal and she verified this with the regional manager. When I got two miles down the road we found that the air conditioning wasn't working. Called Roadside and they "fixed" the truck by recharging the air conditioning and stating the check engine light was not big deal. Big picture - the truck broke down two days later in Georgia and the air conditioning didn't work. Who sends out a truck with 127,000 miles on a 2000 mile move? Worst experience I have ever had with Uhaul.Daniel N.

Well because your Uhaul location in Loveland off of 14st SE wouldn't accommodate me when I was maybe just a small chance I wasent going to make the 4:00pm closing time I was told they absolutely wouldn't wait for me an to go to different location so I had to go clear out to the store out of town I will never rent from Uhaul agen turns out I wouldn't of been late well thanks to the 14st SE Uhaul youve lost a customer for life!daryon K.

The owner made me load and unload the dolly and furnitures pads, after she parked it in a field of knee high weeds and a foot from a 10 foot tall fence. She also charged me extra for mileage and refused to take it off, even though I had to pick up the truck in the town I was moving to instead of the town I was moving from. I need the extra mileage reimbursed to my credit card ASAP.Zachary C.

My car had its steering where locked and clueless me called the Toyota dealer in Loveland for help. They blew me off. The Candy staff gave me a cold bottle of water and together we figured it out. The site itself was laden with extremely political and religious iconography and warnings about the 2nd amendment, which made it a very uncomfortable place to be. But beyond that, even though we were the only customers, the person working informed us that a lot of the time their computer doesn't work correctly for the rentals. It took us 30 minutes (again, we were the ONLY people there) from the time he started the paperwork to the time we were actually able to complete the paperwork and leave. It has never taken that long at a uhaul rental location before. I will not be returning to this location at all. I was extremely uncomfortable and the poor computer made the process much longer than it should have.Laura A.

I loved the candy ranch! But the passenger door on the truck was difficult to close. I looked carefully at it but nothing was obvious. It stayed closed with a good slam. The trailer had two bald tires. One had zero tread. Frank at the Boulder Broadway location saved the trip with a replacement trailer.ROBERT C.

Fix your system. Wouldn't let me rent a trailer to pull a 1930 chevy. I had to lie and say I was hauling something else just to get the stupid trailer. It fit fine, btw. At least give an option to override that you don't think it will work. Not everyone you rent to is a complete idiot.terry Z.

Documentation was not correct when I checked out the vehicle. It indicated 15/16 of a gallon but really had 5/16. I returned it with the same amount of gas and they told me it needed to be filled to 15/16. I added 30 gallons at 2.65/gal ($79.50) for driving 14 miles. 14 miles divided by 30 gallons equals 0.46mpg! This is ridiculous!!!!! I am still very upset about my experience.Benjamin B.

First time driving a Uhaul or similar vehicle. Was not given any guidance or suggestions. Just handed the keys. Signage on Uhaul hand truck clearly marked as $7.00, told I was being charged $10.00. Seems proprietor was more interested in selling candy to the next cu in line. A little more customer attention would have gone a long way. Would have rated higher.John T.

Truck had not been fully checked in, had not been cleaned and was not ready to go. 60 unfolded pads + bits of trash we're still in the box. This wasn't entirely the dealer's fault, and she tried to make things right with us by modifying the contract to give us more days and miles. We appreciated this gesture. The truck had old body damage that wasn't noted in the contract, and the cab heater didn't work.LANCE W.
