This was in a convenient store (spanish, which isn't an issue for us) store was cluttered something couldn't tell if it was clean...no one checked the truck or gave us a form stating we returned the truck/dolly.. it was returned Tuesday August 15th approximately 10:30 am to the unpaved area next to the store.
Penny M.This location was extremely poor for a drop off. The ground was very soft and muddy and the truck got stuck in the mud. I had to contact towing to pull the truck out, and that ended up costing me time and money since I had paid movers to unload my truck that day. I had to reschedule the move and they charged me significantly more to reschedule. No one at this location was available to assist me in removing the car from the auto transporter. I filed a complaint with uHaul and was told a manager will contact me this week.

Andrew T.Uhaul rep on-site was not available for pickup. Had to wait 20 mins while he arrived. Then, his computer wouldn't work. Went on the tablet and had issues with that too. Was onsite for an hour just to pick up a trailer. While paying for it, he has me read him my credit card number, at which point he realizes his tablet is about to die so he runs to the other side of the room, to charge it, then asks me to shout out my credit card number. Made him come get my card from me. Then finally we go out to the trailer that's parked in the middle of a ground that's so badly tore up. I was lucky I had 4x4 on my truck. I needed it! He tells me to just drive up there and walks off. Did not assist to put the trailer on the truck. I asked for help because I have a bad back. He asked one of the guys from the food truck to assist. He comes over and helps me put the trailer coupler on the hitch and just walks off. Did not even secure it to the hitch, I had to tighten the little turn knob, hook up the chains and make sure everything was good. Did all that myself which isn't a big deal but really? Then to find out the wiring for the trailer was bad so the right side lights did not work at all. On return, the uhaul rep wasn't available. Another 40 minute wait for him to show up. The cashier at the store said to just leave the trailer and he will add it to the system later. 6 hrs later and no response. I call and he said he didn't check it out yet. Really?!?!? He said he would do it but wanted to know details about which trailer and what number. What a really piss poor operation! Do not rent from these guys ever!
Shawn N.Terrible. We have been charged for a mistake and no one seems to be able to help us. We were charged for mileage we did not use. It was incorrect in the computer when we picked it up and we were told it would be corrected and never was. Now we have been charged and no one to help us deal w this. Everyone puts it on everyone else. And now we were charged over $400. Ridiculous.
Michael P.U-Haul rentals are parked in a dirt lot so poorly maintained my truck got stuck while in four wheel drive. Required a wrecker get me out and the store owner complained about where the wrecker had to go to get me out. The clerk apparently did not check the vehicle back in and I received notice from U-Haul days later that I had not returned my equipment. Not a good drop off experience.
Brian G.Would be nice if personnel spoke fluent English. After all this America and English used to be the official language. Other than that, drop off was easy, but nobody inspected condition. Not too professional!!

Max B.This place was a complete dump. The attendant told me at first the gentleman wouldn't be available until 4. I purchased an 11AM guarantee. I then told her I was contacting uhaul because of their inability to honor the contract. The second lady then began to help me because she didn't seem as if she wanted me to contact uhaul, however she was RUDE!!!! Her initial statement, “Let me see your phone with the reservation.†I proceeded to comply but her next unwelcoming statement was, “Oh your reservation isn't until 11 it's only 1045…â€. My simple reply to this unprofessional statement was ,â€it's ok, I'll wait.†Neither of them assisted me with the trailer or ensure it was safe for operation. Thankfully I have a tire assist system to complete the checks and I'm strong enough to lift the trailer onto the hitch out of the sand. The tires were partially flat so I had to drive to get them inflated. It is an extremely poor operation.

WILLIAM K.The only thing I would say is that when using a car trailer after hours that you send a link to the customer for location verification shortly after dispatch, because I picked up at 8:30pm and was due back at 1:30am. I was back at around 10:45 - 11. I went home and went to bed and the verification came sometime through the night/morning and I I didn't see it until the next morning and had to call to verify and pull off the road on my way to work to send pictures by email and was late for work. I mean the rental itself was excellent but making sure I wasn't charged extra could have been prevented by the link being sent earlier in the process. Thank you!

Steven S.I had to drive 40 minutes out of my way to pick up this trailer. I was told by a agent that I was picking one up in Lakeland. But after getting to Lakeland I was then told I had to Winterhaven to get what I needed. So the waste of time and gas was stupid. I don't know how you can promise someone a trailer in one location and then make them drive clear out of their way to get it elsewhere. Think something needs to be done about that.
jacob D.Upon returning the equipment the clerk said the person who did that was not there but she would tell them when they returned. I had to ask her to give me a copy of the contract with her signature to prove I returned it. Uhaul is now telling me I haven't returned the trailer. I answered the loss prevention email questions about the return and never received a response. I am seeking legal counsel to resolve being accused of theft.

Yosdany L.YOU CHARGED ME FOR GAS WHEN I FILLED IT HIGHER THAN WHAT I EVEN GOT IT ON. UNFAIR. I want my $7.13 back that your company stole from me. There wasn't even anyone there to take my key I had to leave it in a sketchy drop box..which i didn't i had to come back to return the key the next day because i was uncomfortable with the location and the idea of leaving a key to a 50000 truck in the front lawn. nah fam. Your company screwed me with a 400 truck rental, Ill be taking my business to penske and ryder. your company and your low deck can take a hike because nobody cares to be scammed and thats what uhaul is a scam.

KEVIN B.Very frustrating..... I reserved a 10 foot truck and had a confirmation number. When I went to pick up the truck, they only had 23' trucks. It wasted a day that I planned to move running to different stores after a truck was located. Not a pleasant experience. I would not recommend UHAUL to anybody.
ADAM W.I had reserved a 4'x8' trailer, when I arrived all they had were 5'x8' trailers. Same price so I took the larger trailer. One of the employees here connected the trailer to my truck, he had me operate the lights to make sure they were working properly. Problem, a few miles down the road the trailer tongue came off the ball on my hitch. The safety chains kept the trailer connected as I managed to get off to the side of the road where I reconnected the trailer properly to my truck. I am in the process of following up on a claim for damage to the bumper of my truck. Next time I rent a trailer I'll be sure to go through a U-Haul center, not a side business store..

WES F.This location was in the middle of nowhere which made it difficult to find. The gentleman that was running the store didn't even come outside to help me unlock the trailer from my vehicle. He made me and my brother unlock the trailer ourselves, which I don't agree making a child have to do that be anyway fair. Also, I have a medical condition where I'm not suppose to be lifting heavy items at all, and I was stuck having to do it. I would recommend not allowing that facility to be a drop off location for you.

KAREN S.This was a very shady location to say the least. The attendant had no idea that I had made a reservation, never gave me a receipt or any other paperwork. He put the trailer on my vehicle improperly which caused it to come off while driving down a major road. It caused significant damage to my vehicle. If I were U-Haul, I would consider revoking his dealer/franchise license. I have always had a great experience with other u haul dealerships.
Justin H.Yo entregue el camion a esta tienda la cual la cajera no pudo hacer mi papeles de entrega tuvo que esperar por le dueno del local al otro dia ydespues me cargaron a mi cuenta por error $196.58 la cual parte de ella ya fue regresada a mi cuenta pero me causo un sobrejiro en mi cuenta por $180 mas $72 mas $36 y Tom de Uhaul no me quiere devolver lo sucedido despues que me hicieron ir a 4 lugares para obtener el camion y el tow dolly son muy ineficientes y yo necesito que alguien arregle esto ya que me han causado una perdida de casi $400 y nadie quiere responder por esto, yo entregue mi camion a tiempo sin danos y con la gasolina necesaria a la cajera del local sunshine, que paso despues no lo se pero aun uhaul no resuelve nada para mi caso, yo mande copias de sobrejiro del banco y nada que no me quieren retornar mi dinero, necesito que alguien investigue esto mejor y me devuelvan mi dinero ha sido la experiencia mas mala que he tenido
LIDIA R.When I arrived on Saturday morning for pick up the clerk knew nothing about a pick up and did not have any paperwork and he had to call someone possibly the owner of the business (not really sure). I showed him my confirmation for the pick up of a 26' foot truck. He went out to get information off a 17' truck and I told him I reserved a 26'. On the return of the truck, when he went to get the mileage and gas information he told me I would have to pay for gas because it was @ 1/2 tank when picked up. I told him the gas was on 1/4 tank when picked up and was @ 1/4 tank when it was returned. Again, he was getting information off the 17' truck.

I returned the trainer before the required return time/date. 3 days lated I had received 3 text messages saying I had not returned the trainer. I had called them after receiving each text message. I will never rent from there again.
RICHARD C.I rented a car hauler (dual axle) that was a great trailer. Well designed, everything worked, and towed well. I would recommend following the guide for tow vehicles. On the improvement end, that same guide doesn't cover all vehicles. Commercial trucks weren't an option, so I had to guestimate the actual capacity. Might want to develop this area more to better serve customers in business better. Overall great rental. Customer service at the local level was polite and worked well with the customer. I would rent and recommend uhaul in the future. G

Also not trying to make a killing on the rates when a customer is only 20 min. over on time and then charging for a full day of rental. Do not think it is the fault of the station manager but is endemic of the system in place for turn ins.

He assisted me after showing up to his location, at the last minute to get a truck, because the drop-off location messed up the reservation. Amite is to be commended for his assistance in this very very very difficult transaction.
DELMA C.I would only recommend this location if you are a patient person. It takes a long time because there is only 1 person trying to run the store and take care of uhauls at the same time. Also the truck we reserved 2 days earlier wasn't there so we had to take whatever was on the lot. We have never gotten the eqipment we reserved with uhaul.

After several very disappointing experiences with U-Haul I didn't care if I ever used another U-Haul rental, but this recent rental was as smooth and effortless as it could be. It definitely surpassed my expectations. The store clerk was very friendly and helpful, as well.
