Best customer service I have ever received at a U-Haul site. They spray down the cargo trailer before I picked it up to make sure it was clean and they promptly connected the trailer and lights to my vehicle. Very pleasant staff and obviously very knowledgeable.

I used the option to pick up my truck online, but in doing so found that the location had terrible cell reception and I couldn’t finish the pick up on my own. When I went inside, there were 2 people at the front desk - neither even knew what I was talking about with the online checkout I was doing. How do you implement a company wide service, but not train each location how to help their customers?!! I was told to return my equipment at 12:30 pm the next day. When I showed up to drop my equipment off, the same girl was working at the front desk. When we approached her to drop off the truck, she didn’t greet us at all and just said “we don’t open for another half hour”. So I’m thinking, why did you tell me to drop this off at this time?!! She then took the keys to the rental and closed the gates on us. She didn’t communicate at all what was going on. So we stood outside in the heat wondering if we’d get a receipt, if they’d make sure there were no damages, etc. she eventually came out to look at the truck, continuing not to say a word. Based off of this experience, I would never rent a U-Haul again. I was treated terribly both during pickup and drop off.
