The truck had pebbles in the back that needed swept out and the front had candy wrappers on the floor. I did not receive the confirmation text until I had already taken the truck and began loading it, by which time the link had expired.Tyler T.

Our drop off location said it was a 24/7 drop off option but it has no outdoor lights. So trying to complete drop off through the app in the dark was difficult and trying to find the drop box for the key was also quite difficult.John F.

When you clairsville m that the fuel was 7/8 full but in reality it was 3/4, and had to pay the difference. I even told the uhaul inspector but shrugged it off. Poor service.Matt Z.

I had to sweep broken glass out of the back of the truck before I could load anything in it. I also needed to add furniture pads on to my order but Susi did not have them, so on top of moving my pick-up location 30 minutes in the opposite direction of where I needed it to be , I still had to go to another U-haul facility to get furniture pads.Erich P.

This location did NOT have the appliance cart that I ordered. I was sent to another location to pick it up. I've rented from U-Haul at least 8 times and I have NEVER had things go like it was planned. Two of those time were insanely inconvenient situations and caused a delay over around 4 hours each time in getting the rental squared away. I wish I had alternative moving companies in the area.Brian C.

Truck had reverse light out that was not repaired before I left the lot, seemed that all they wanted was payment and really didn`t care about anything else. I went to drop off my unit and the location I was told to drop it off at told me that they did not accept the style unit I had at that location! What was I going to do! I was then told to go to another location, luckily only a few miles away. When I got to this location they also said that they did not take this style unit- it was only a 5X9 trailer. Luckily they did take it but they were not very happy about it. Never again will I book U-Haul online!JANICE SUE A.

I reserved a trailer for Sunday because I was unsure if I'd have time in my very busy schedule to pick it up Saturday. I presumed my trailer would be ready Sunday morning. When the technician called me Saturday to confirm he said my trailer would not be available until 2pm Sunday. This was completely unacceptable as I'd planned to pack up a storage unit Sunday morning and be on the road back to Hershey, PA no later than 12:00pm. He gave me the 800 number to call to see if there was another trailer available anywhere before that time, as he had none at his store. I was able to find one, but it put a kink in my plans and wasn't terribly convenient. It all turned out in the end, but maybe you should inform people when making a reservation that their reservation may not be available until afternoon on the day reserved. I wrongly assumed my trailer would be available first thing in the morning.Rachel R.

MY EXPERIENCE WAS A BUMPY RIDE FROM THE INTERNET ORDER TO THE DROP OFF OF MY RENTAL TRAILER. I WANTED TO P/U MT TRAILER AT THE (U-HAUL) IN ERIE ON BUFFALO RD. YOU SENT ME TO THE OTHER SIDE OF TOWN TO P/U A TRAILER. I WANTED A ONE WAY TRIP AND WAS NEVER GIVEN THE OPTION TO CHOOSE. I TOLD THE PERSON THERE AT SUSI'S I WOULD BE TAKING SOME STUFF TO MY FARM IN CORRY, PA. I STATED I WOULD BE DROPPING IT OFF THERE, HE SAID TAKE IT TO JIM'S SERVICE STATION THERE ON RT 6. I DID THIS AND THE GUY TRIED TO CHARGE ME A DROP OFF FEE. OH NO NO NO! I HAD TO DRIVE BACK TO THE FARM AND CALL THE U-HAUL COMPANY AND SPOKE TO A MAN (JAMES) WHO WAS UNDERSTANDING WHILE I RANTED A BIT. HE GAVE ME TO THE MANAGAER/ SUPERVISOR AND SHE WAS VERY NICE AND TOOK CARE OF THE ISSUES AND IN THE END I WAS SATISFIED. THANK YOU! THESE COMPANIES THAT U-HAUL CONTRACTS WITH NEED TO FOLLOW THE RIGHT STEPS SO NOT TO MAKE RENTING A BAD EXPERIENCE. I THINK ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS THE MONEY THEY MAKE OFF OF THE DEAL AND NOT THE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. NEXT TIME I WILL GO STRAIGHT TO THE LOCAL U-HAUL NOT A SIDE KICK COMPANYCoreen C.

went there to get trailer, the last two trailers I rented had 2" ball this one had 1 7/8 receiver. they had no hitch balls to buy and no wrench to help me change the new one when I got one at walmart. The guy was nice but slow, said he doesn't do this often. Then he had to call two people that I know so he could verify I was who I said I was, I had a driver license and credit card.
