Gas gage on paper work was wrong to what was actually in truck. Couldn't find reservation. Just a bunch of BS

DONALD R.The truck cargo area leaked water all over my stuff. I could of used my open trailer, but wanted to protect my things, because I seen the rain storm coming on the weather forecast. Also, the tires were bad on the truck. Flat spots on the tires made it seem like the wheels were square which made for a very uncomfortable 7 hour drive. Just wish someone would have inspected truck at this location.
CHRISTOPHER S.The office workers offer no assistance in hooking up or when returning a trailer. Trailers are inconveniently stored a far distance behind the building and down a steep hill. With the 6X12 tandem trailer, it's impossible for someone with a bad back or other mobility issues to handle alone.

David H.Uhaul confirmed my reservation to pick up at Sweats at 9AM on a Saturday because there were no trucks available where I initially had booked my reservation. So I had to drive 45 minutes each way to pick up the truck and when I got there at 9 to pick up the place was closed. I called Sweats number and they apologized but they didn't open till 10 but I had to wait an hour to get the truck. When I finally got the truck home to load it up there were no windshield wipers and the back of the truck was very dirty and dusty. It had obviously not been cleaned.

james S.No one there to assist hooking trailer to the truck, even at the drop off location. One or even two people cannot pick the trailer up to attach to the hitch. Why doesn't these trailer have tongue jacks?
Larry S.I was told I had to put the trailer on the hitch myself because of a new UHaul rule. Since I an old (72) and small, this is not pleasing! The clerk was nice to show me every little thing to do and showed me when I had done it wrong and how to fix it. I appreciated this, but do not appreciate this new UHaul policy! I think that screw tightener you have is designed for employees not customers. It is hard for me to tell when it is really tight.

Gary B.This location was closed when we dropped off the truck. It was not inviting at all. It looked like a rundown scrap yard. Definitely not somewhere you would think Uhaul would operate from.
Alaina W.Paid full price for a 1 day rental. Was only allowed 30 miles to get my move done. The closest location is 16 miles round trip which didn't leave me much mileage to get the move done. Ended up getting charged for extra 70 miles at .40/mile. Either allow more mileage or offer unlimited mileage like Penske for 1 way rentals.

It showed 4 day rental only needed for 1. Returned within 25 hours. Upon return was then informed of the flat rate and no refund for the early return.
