I reserved a truck 5 miles from where I needed it. when I got there there were 2 trucks the size I wanted on the property. I was told they were reserved for other customers and I would have to wait. After waiting 35 minutes I was told I could rent a truck less than 10 miles from where we were. the driving distance turned into almost twice that. The people there were nice and extremely friendly, but it still took me 25 minutes to rent the truck. At this point I had lost an hour plus of time and was 10 miles from where I wanted to be. The reason I am so upset is because when I arrived at my original location there were 2 trucks of the size I reserved, but they were assigned to someone else. How come I was the unlucky one that's truck was not turned in on timed? It seems to me that you give the truck to the first person that claims it.

This was not our original pick up location, our original did not have the size truck we reserved, we had to go with a smaller truck so that we were not traveling a hour or more outside of our home. Our reservation was not set up for mobile check in/pick up so we had to sit on the phone for over an hour to get it fixed so that we could get the keys. We did not get the dolly or furniture pads we had reserved and paid for, causing us to have to find another u-haul location that was open and had what we needed, which then made us spend more money having to put down a deposit. Our original pick up location told us we would be given an extra day as well as extra miles since we had to travel further to pick up our truck, but then we got charged for the extra day and miles used. When I reached out to customer service I was told there were no notes indicating we would get an extra day or miles at no charge and that doing do was something only corporate could authorize. So far the only thing we were refunded was for the missing equipment. For the most part everyone we spoke to was nice, but it just seemed that every time someone tried to fix a problem they created a new one and the whole experience was a headache and made moving that much more complicated and annoying.

“Clean and inviting” might not accurately describe this location. It was essentially a country convenience store with a gas pump. However, the gentleman I dealt with was friendly and courteous. I liked his laidback demeanor.

I was given a non UHaul dilly that had one flat tire and one that nearly fell off. The truck was listed as being full of gas; however, it was only just over 3/4 full. When I pointed that out to the rental agent he told me to take a picture of the fuel gage and show it to the return agent, as if that would suffice. At least one of the blankets I was provided had worms crawling throughout the blanket. In the future you should be ensure that only genuine, and clean, UHaul equipment is provided to customers.

Have available for sale some items that may be needed for those renting, i.e. Adaptors for wiring like a 4 pin to 7 pin adaptor also basic receiver hitch with 2 inch ball, both very common but things that renters may need

The guy was not at the gas station location when I arrived. The trailer had leaves and pine straw in it. The tires were muddy. The safety chains were two completely different chains. The rounded part of the front of the trailer where you push the tab down to tighten or loosen the trailer onto the ball was bent. It was a mess. Just two months earlier I rented the same trailer (not specifically this one) in Oklahoma and pulled it back 1000 miles and I had a great experience but this time the trailer was not the same quality. In general I like Uhaul but not this location.

There was no attempt to log the trailer in or do anything to verify that it was no longer my responsibility. 2 weeks later when you tracked me down, I had to help UHaul locate the trailer there so that you wouldn't charge me late fees. Shouldn't a drop-off location have a computer or something to check me in?

The worst experience that I've ever had. I originally reserved a 17' truck. They called me a day before my move to inform me that they did not have that truck available, instead they upgraded me to a 20' truck at a different location. No big deal, however I arrived at the new location to be informed that the truck need to be returned back to that specific location. I moved 1.5 hours away therefore that was not an option for me, which is what I confirmed through the original reservation. They found another truck, supposed to be 17', at a farther location. I picked up that truck which ended up being 15', not the 17' as promised. It was the only available "one-way" truck at that time. After finally getting home, packed the truck as much as possible, and began the trip, I got a phone call to confirm the new drop-off location. The new drop off location was listed as the same as the pick-up location. The problem was never resolved and I was charged $45 more than what was advertised on my original reservation, in addition to mileage and gas. What a nightmare of a day.

We had a reservation to pick up a 26 ft truck at another location and when we arrived they didn't have the truck even though we confirmed the day before. We were sent to this pick up location and they weren't prepared for us. The rep had no idea what she was doing and hardly spoke English to communicate. We had an order of 3 dozen furniture pads and the pick up location had none.. We had to go back to the first location to get the ordered furniture pads, Pick up location was Further away causing more mileage expense and wasted time. No drop box for key return. We had to bring the vehicle in on the drop off day then make a trip back in the morning with the key. This rental experience was a nightmare. This truck got 4 miles to the gallon. My family has been loyal using U haul for many moves and U haul is not loyal to returning customers. They don't honor advance reservations and confirmations and don't care about the customers. We lost precious time going back and forth to the locations causing us to incur extra expenses on the movers we hired who waited on us.

Everything was fine with the workers but when I arrived the truck and trailer was not there. I had too go to another site 10 miles away and pick up the truck. And then I had to load the trailer by myself. Very poor and I hope you guys take some money off the rental agreement for me. Had to do more work picking it up than I thought.

Start over!! This location was HORRIBLE - it is a country convenience/gas store. There was 1 employee on duty and he did not know how to check me out with the trailer. He had to call UHaul Customer Service to figure it out. It took almost 1 hour to complete the pick up. Then he told me to go out and hook up the trailer by myself.
