U-Haul in general needs to standardize the pick up process or let the customer know what to expect. At one site I can fill out everything pre-rental but I still need to wait at counter. For this past rental I waited 45 minutes for store to open only to find it was all automated. I prefer the automated obviously, but again I hate spending time filling out forms only to get stuck at a counter.John S.

The online phone check in experience needs a lot of work. I'd recommend hiring a good consulting company to figure this whole process out. It took me much longer to book a truck online than it would've taken to just go into the building. Also, I had to repeat input information that I already placed on the first rental form. On top of all this, a 3 person verification is ridiculous, especially if you have my credit card, license, etc already. Before booking with Uhaul, someone had suggested renting a truck from Home Depot. My response to that was why would I want to do that when we are accustomed to how U-Haul processes rentals? I had soon regretted that. The whole experience was horrible! And the location which I added a dolly rental to did not have dollies. I then had to go to Home Depot and purchase a $60 for dolly. I could've just went to Home Depot and rent a truck and gotten a dolly there. Again the whole online and check and experience was horrible and the location did not have the equipment that I actually paid for.John S.

Horrible!!! The time to pick up was at 8:30 they sent a text to move the time to 9:30. I came at 9:30 and nobody there!!! I called U-Haul they were trying to help me. Finally at 10am a woman showed up. I got the van. I returned the van at same place on same day. The woman said that my card which is on the file doesn't went through. I provided another payment card. THEY CHARGE ME TWICE!!!! Now I'm waiting my money back! Never never never go that place!TIGRAN B.

The only positive thing in my whole experience was the woman at the store who helped me. The truck was a piece of shit that was soooooooo difficult to start. On top of everything, I ordered fucking equipment for my move and U-Haul, the asshole company that it is, overbooked and so no equipment was left for my move. This caused an incredible inconvenience and extra cost Bc I then had to rent a dolley from Home Depot. The cherry on top of this shit pie is that the truck didn't even have a ramp, so our move was extremely challenging. Not to mention the couple behind me didn't even get a truck Bc of overbooking, even though they had a reservation!!!! Did anyone even inform them the day of? No. I am NEVER renting from U-Haul again. This company SUCKS and they do not give a shit about their customers.MERVE B.

The office is supposed to be open on Sundays per the hours on the door and their website. Office was closed and we had to use the online pick up option. It was awful and we kept losing Internet connectivity. We called U-Haul twice and could not get anyone on the line. We had reserved furniture pads and a dolly and neither were in the truck nor were they available because the office was closed. Yet we were still charged for them. Service was absolutely terrible I don't understand how this location was ever approved to operate DO NOT RENT from the T&L BEAUTY SUPPLIES location in Delray Beachjonathan C.
The rental was fine. The staff didn't all have masks on at all times. Wouldn't go back tk that location. They were all very nice. Just the mask issue! Nobody wants to take a chance getting sick for a truck.Richard C.

Upon arriving for drop off, I was told the staff person who handled Uhaul was not available. There was little direction provided on the return process. (I drove around the building myself to figure out where to park the truck.) After parking the truck, I turned the keys in and did not receive a receipt. I found out via email over an hour later that they checked my truck in an HOUR after I dropped it off resulting in $58 of excess fees. I am still waiting for a refund. I got overcharged by $700. I was held in the location for 6 hours because of credit card processing outage with uhaul nationwide. The truck wouldn't start and waited another hour for roadside assistance. Nobody has called me to make this right despite 6 promises to wait for a call from a managerRaul H.

What a WONDERFUL experience start to finish. The reason I chose to rent a U-haul vehicle from this location was because of the star ratings. It was interesting that the business at which the UHaul franchise was located in was a beauty supply store. But I am a woman who honors entrepreneurship. And I was curious about how a location in a beauty supply store could earn such high ratings. Well now I know why. The location was so convenient to our home. The hourly rate was great (as compared to other vehicle rental companies). Because of restrictions of the mall landlord there was no obvious UHaul sign that could be seen from the parking lot. But following the big Beauty Supply sign on the facade of the building lead us to the entrance of the store where there was a UHaul sign on the door. We were welcomed in by Ms Lisa (who with her husband owns the supply house and the UHaul franchise) our reservation was found quickly, and in with in minutes we were driving away in the exact 15' truck with EZ ramp that we had reserved. The vehicle was clean, a/c was perfect and Ms Lisa let us use a dolly at no extra charge!!! How can this be?? After all the nightmare stories that we have had with all different rental companies over the years...we find UHaul Nirvana in a Beauty Supply Store in a ordinary plaza!! Thank you Ms Lisa for your professional integrity and efficient service. We will be back! To all those who are skeptical of this different kind of experience....PLEASE do your self a favor and go see Ms Lisa. She makes it her "business" to make you happy!!Kenneth W.

The gasoline was not as stated on the contract. I took a picture at the start, and when I left the truck. They wanted to charge me $ 45 to complete the gasoline. What was wrong! I will not return to this place again. In addition, the schedules as indicated on the door were not respected. I don't recommend this place.Roberto S.

The ladies in there were great, very helpiful and respectful towards customers. Although it's a unexpected place for a Uhaul dealer, I wouldn't mind the experience all over again. They were very attentive to Uhaul customers. Regardless of the beauty supplies that attracted my daughters, I got my truck within minutes and was out the doors, moved on time and the drop off was quick as well. This was my 2nd time renting from this location. I must say that in both instances my experience has been very positive. I was in and out rather quickly, their operating hours were very convenient, the owner/operator was extremely pleasant and easy to work with. The cabin of the truck smelled awful , the loading space was incredibly disgusting !! It smelled worse than a chicken farm. There was animal seeds and gusts urije and poop from chickens or turkeys. I am very unhappy with the service provided from uhaul'nVito F.
