I have moved to multiple states throughout the country and have always used U-Haul. The experience has always been great... Up until this move. This move was anything but smooth. To make a long story short, I reserved a 15' truck and auto transport trailer, got confirmation of this reservation and even called to confirm after receiving the email. The day I was supposed to pick these up, I received a cancellation notice - for no reason. I then spent hours on the phone only to get a 10' truck and no trailer. As you can imagine this caused multiple issues, mainly forcing me to leave my vehicle in CA and making the move to CO with no way to get my car here. I will now be out a lot of time and money as a result. Extremely disappointing to say the least.

they didn't check me in. they took a photo of my DL and Credit card and gave me a key. so I had nothing in hand, no proof of the gas level, which was at a 1/4 tank, and no walk-around when I checked in. It was like the normal uhaul person wasn't there and didn't know what to do.

The location was very sketchy but the rental was ok.

Update the website to indicate that only a truck can be received there, no dollies and no furniture pads. Also, someone should be in the office doing the day when people are trying to return equipment.

There was a bunch of bottles and trash in the seating area when we got it. Also the mileage and the gas levels were recorded incorrectly and we go back inside to change it.

The store was closed when I arrived at my designated pick up time. I had to wait 30 minutes for her to arrive and set up. I was late for my movers and had to pay additional monies because of the additional time it took to move. Then, when it was time for me to drop off the van - she was GONE. This caused me to have to speak to customer service for an additional 30 minutes just so that I wouldn't be charged for another day! Horrible experience. PS: She didn't even inspect the vehicle before I drove off with the van. Anything could've been wrong with that car. SMH
