When I made my reservation by phone, I told the rep when I would be returning the trailer and she notified me the facility would be closed but I would still be able to drop.off the trailer using the Uhaul app. On pickup day, I met with Oscar. He got me processed for pickup. I also let him know I would be dropping off on Sunday and he did not notify me of any special instructions for drop off. On drop off day, I arrive to the site and both gates were chained. I had to fish my way through to the corporate number that handles this location. I told them the situation and they said I could just leave it outside the gate. I asked if she could email or text me a release of liability since I was there when I said I would be, to drop off, but now had to leave it outside (in a questionable neighborhood) at my own risk. She said she could not do this. Because I only had use of the vehicle I used to tow the trailer until that evening, I was placed in a major bind. I decided to leave the trailer at their front gate bc they have cameras facing that area. The drop off took over an hour while I sorted out the details and how to. I don't appreciate the lack of communication or the added stress of the drop off portion of the transaction and feel that it is fair and resonable to receive a promotional credit to compensate me for the risk I took on and stress it caused. Very unprofessional on Tasker Automotive's park and also on the UHaul rep that didn't have special drop-off instructions for their authorized rental site.

This van smelled so bad that we if we didn’t need to make a delivery right away, we would have left and found another vehicle for sure. We sprayed lysol inside but the smell still didn’t go away. It smelled like a dog had pooped all over it. It was filthy as well. When we brought it back, both employees were on the phone. I said excuse me, that van… one of the guys stopped me and saiid, “It stinks, right?” and the other guy just shook his head. I’m sorry. Isn’t it their responsibility? The van was awful. The service was awful. An all in all terrible experience.
Eral HTaskers was great. Uhaul screwed us on the truck reservation and caused the loss of an expensive antique. Will be emailing corporate.
Robert DI was waiting at the front desk for 10 minutes before anyone came to the front desk. The gentlemen there was not prepared and a little rude when I asked question. Required some sort of signature for a rental that I’ve never had to due before. Strongly believe it was him pressuring me to buy the insurance for the trailer.

GARY CEvery thing went smoothly until check in, but it was handled. Transmission issues, heavy exhaust smell in the truck, it took 13 hours to do what is normally a 6-7 hour Drive. I did advise Oscar of the transmission problem on Monday 12/27/2023, he did advise he would call me as of today I have not been advised if I can get a discount on the charges.

Darrell BOscar was at first rude. I walked in to his office, told him I was here to return the truck and needed a receipt. He then said he was busy doing something else and that he would return it once he was done and that I would get it in my email. Well I expected a paper receipt for my taxes.. I have never been told that they were to busy to help a customer out. I’ve been in customer service for 56 years and I know that customers come first no matter what the employee is doing. Because in the long run no matter what you’re doing when the customer walks into a business, you leave what you are doing to help that customer in what their needs are. Because that chore you were doing before that customer walked in will still be there when you get back to it. In the last two months, I have rented two trucks from U-Haul to move. And even rented a storage. I Have paid a lot to do so. And I feel like I will need to second guess about using U-Haul again. Maybe retraining might be a way to teach your employee better customer service.

Dan ADidn’t understand why I was charged full amount upfront when I was told I would be charged the rest after trailer was brought back. Trailer had multiple dents and some cracks. The problem itself was not the place I rented from but uhaul it’s self. As a whole taskers automotive was very helpful and professional.

Rosette TAgain, had to be redirected from my drop off location I selected on line - about ten miles away. Again, no consideration for the fuel I used for the truck and the pick up vehicle. Drop off location was a mechanic shop. Personnel were friendly, but again a much different experience than a normal U-haul location that I'm used to.

MAC GI had my wife pick up the 5x8 trailer and after shorting out and blowing my fuses for the trailer plug they sent her home at night without any trailer lights working. This angered me as to the situation she could have been in if something went wrong. VERY unprofessional and dangerous! I replaced the fuses and we had to get loaded and on the road or else I would have taken it back and raised hell with them. I am VERY unhappy about this situation.

Craig MThe staff was friendly and helpful. The only issues I had were with the U-Haul website on checkout. Since the U-Haul agent wasn't available to check me out, I had to do the checkout online. The website would not let me log in on my phone using Safari, as I kept getting errors in that it could not send me a code. I eventually used a different browser (Chrome) and got it to work. Then, at the end of checkout, it said that the receipt would be in my email, but it didn't show up until the next morning. I even had trouble logging in to the website on my laptop using both Chrome and Edge. I eventually logged in and was able to print my receipt.
John ZThe attendant wasn’t very informative or helpful. They had parked vehicles at the entrance that made it difficult to enter. The trailers were staged in an area that were opposite the entrance, so you were facing the wrong way after hooking it to your vehicle. I found the facility to look like a vehicle graveyard.

AT RETURN HE WAS A LITTLE RUDE JUST BECAUSE I GOT THERE 1 MIN BEFORE CLOSE WHEN THERE SIGN SAYS 6. PLUS UAHUL STILL CHARGE ME FOR FUEL WHICH I HAD TO CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE TO GET REMOVE. Arturo MThe Uhaul I ordered was not available for me move, I asked for the correct one upon my check out but was told I didn’t order a Uhaul with a ramp, I had to move a refrigerator and a washer and dryer, I wouldn’t try this move without a ramp. The agent told me he had a bigger Uhaul ( I ordered the 14ft truck online) but it was reserved. I had to make multiple trips and used more miles because I was given the correct truck. Overall it was my first bad experience with Uhaul.
