Your app doesn’t work and you should not offer self service. It took us an hour to pick up the truck because the truck was not assigned and then we went through the verification process three times

Customer service was something to be concerned about. My first confirmation was at a place that a never requested. It was many calls to get it cleared up. And the day before the rental I got a call that there was a scheduling conflict and I did not have the truck that I thought I was going to have. Some of the customer rep. were very helpful and some were not. The pickup location was on Sunday, so I did not see anyone at the site. The truck was ok, but the wheels were very muddy. Overall is was an ok experience, it turned out ok.

It was supposed to be a one way rental from Maine to New Hampshire and the person that did the reservation changed it to in town. You charged me triple the amount which I’m furious about! So no I was not satisfied with my experience.

I don't agree with holding estimated funds on a rental then charging the customers card again for full charges instead of the difference on what they have already payed. I also rented moving equipment and furniture pads in which I didn't use because I had forgotten to load them into the dirty rental truck. I feel the truck should of been ready for me to go. And where it was not I feel I should of received my funds back since I didn't use the rental equipment due to forgetting to load them into the truck. I'm waiting for the bank to release my funds but until they do I consider myself to have paid twice due to the rental company not being able to just charge me a seven dollar difference. Nor refund me for equipment I didn't have nor use. Until I receive the initial 96 dollars held from my bank account it cost me 200 dollars to rent a dirty 15 foot box truck that I drove a total of 35 miles. With no equipment.

The agent at Taylor Rental was very helpful, especially after a false start at a different location where we found our rental was not available after all. (Though the agent there helped us to get things straightened out.) Very much liked working with him.

We had to call and schedule a drop-off here once we arrived at our location as a result of the debacle in Newport, NH. The folks here were informative, friendly, and very helpful. Our drop-off was uneventful and a welcome relief after our negative experience in NH. Many thanks to the folks at Taylor Rental :)

I had ordered an appliance dolly and it was not in the truck I was still charged for it ! The passager side mirror was broken and moved every time I hit a small bump in the road so I had no vision on that side !!

I was made to drive 3 hrs rt to Sanford ME after renting in North Conway Nh. This cost me precious packing time closing up the summer house this has never happened before renting from uhaul The service in Sanford was top drawer.

The truck was falling apart..I use the brake and it got stuck. So I brought it back so they could fix it which they said they couldn't and just tied it up..then charge me for the miles to bring it back so they could do it. Side mirrors wouldn't adjust and he were so rude and wouldn't even give me his name..worst experience ever..

This location is a scam. I rented a truck from this facility and have since been charged over $200. I had the truck for 3hrs and used it for maybe 30miles. I contacted UHAUL main line who contacted this location. Owner was not helpful and did not provide any information. It should be noted that the owner never checked the Odometer or gas at the time of return, this was confirmed based on the invoice having this area blank. When I spoke with Area Manager, I was basically told I should have taken pictures of odometer to prove my mileage., otherwise his hands are tied. He also said i should have used the text service- not a requirement from Uhaul. My suggestion to anyone using this facility- Don't!! If you take a picture of odomoter before and after, pictures of vehicle before nad after, and get pictures of gas levels.

These folks do a good job of maintaining their trucks and are honest about charging additional fees. UHAUL has amazing customer service, and while this facility could use a good cleaning, the guys who run it are on top of their game regarding their fleet of trucks. So long as you don't mind the guy at the front wearing a hat that reads, "Jesus is my Savior. Trump is my President" (I could frankly do without politics or religion when I'm renting a truck), they're a solid location from which to rent trucks.

Pros: The staff was very friendly. Trailer pickup was fast and easy. Cons: *** The store floor was filthy and needed to be swept and mopped. The store was very untidy.

Van had not been swept out and the air pressure in the back left tire was low. The low pressure light in the van was on when I picked up as well as text indicating that the pressure was low on the odometer screen. Facility was cluttered, dirty and not well mantained. Will seek alternate location to rent from in the future.

The service was great. The trailer I reserved online was ready to go when I arrived. They hooked it up to the pick-up truck and off we went. Return was as easy. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to rent just about anything.

My experience was ok but it didn't really have anything to do with the location. I used mobile check in to pick up which was a nightmare. I was there for 45 minutes trying to get it to work and then ended up needing to call uhaul and was on hold with them. Once I had a representative things went smoother but I will NEVER use mobile again to pick up. At drop off I went during business hours and that was easy.

The service was fine, but the place is a disaster. Not clean and looks more like a repair shop than a uhaul rental space. The truck was fair as it certainly had some use on it. Overall, it was an ok experience, but I wouldn't recommend it if there was a uhaul store nearby as they are much cleaner and more inviting.

I recently needed to move some furniture from my home into storage. I called U-Haul in Sanford, ME and Bill was most helpful. He explained everything to me, made the process of renting the truck easy. I had never driven one of those trucks before so I asked him to please show me where all the important parts were for me to drive this truck safely. He took the time to show me all the things that I needed to know-lights, blinkers, wipers, TowHaul Light, Emergency Brake and side mirrors, etc for which I was most Thankful!! I will say that the truck was older and in fair shape-the window was frozen shut so I was unable to roll it down, the truck had lots of miles and wear but I do not fault Bill for that-that is what he had available as that was the only one left and he had another family renting the truck the following day. Bill was very efficient, kind and helpful for which I was most Grateful. One piece of feedback I will say is that U-Haul may want to upgrade their older trucks however.

I appreciated how calmly and quickly our local rep resolved issues with billing, but it appears that the location tacked on every cost it could after we returned the vehicle. I had to call both the national and local U-Haul offices and stop back at the location to resolve the issue and although everyone was very helpful, it would have been best if these arbitrary charges (cleaning fee for brushing mud off the bumper, fuel surcharge when it was left with more gas on return than pickup, etc) were not added to the bill to begin with.

Location and truck were both great. Only issue I had was using the truck share online to pick up and drop off the vehicle. The website continued to redirect me to the home page anytime I clicked continue. It wouldn't let me "check out" or upload pictures.

Location wasn’t great. Gentleman was helpful but found the experience to be a rip off. Was told the van was full. During check in took pictures and found that van wasn’t actually full. Filled van (as directed) upon return but was told I don’t get credit for filling it back up. Gentleman said I should have told him Van wasn’t full even though I filled in the check in report. I know it’s only a few gallons of gas but I WILL NEVER BE SCAMMED BY YOUR ORG AGAIN.

The truck could use a cleaning. There were french fry remnants in the cup holder and dust all over. Also, the front bumper was smashed in on the corner and scratched up and that was indicated on the pre-check. And the dash lights indicating an oil change being needed and tire pressure low was on.

Horrible experience! took 2 1/2 hours to get all the problems fixed on the phone just to pick up the truck. even though Uhaul company reset the time of pickup, i still ended up only having the truck for 5 hours when i rented it for 8. And then still charged 135.00 for a truck that was supposed to be 29.00....number 1 problem...you pick up the truck from your phone yet there is no internet available at this location. I'll never rent from here again.
