Every year we rent from these folks. GREAT people. I have a very hard time starting the vehicle. Its hit or miss. It may start on the third try or the twelfth. It scares me when it won't start because of my job hauling voting info etc.Elizabeth M.

the passenger side mirror was so loose that a few yards down the road the mirror was facing the street. I was blind on that side. Took truck back to taylor rental and a staff member tightened it. However still too loose and the staff memeber taped it. The tape didn't hold and when I got home I duct taped the mirror. Still didn't hold very well, but held better than the clear tape. Had to adjust 2 x's on the way to destination.MARGARETLORD S.

I am very disappointed in how my rental DID NOT work out as it should have. We were all set 2 weeks ahead of initial move when it was told May not have a truck for my date to pick it up. This caused an emotional upset as it was going one way and a plane ticket had already been purchased as I was told everything was set. Then I am told we'll you can pick your truck up at another location in Cortland. Ok well that would be ok as long as we have a truck. Turn around 2 days later I get a call from another place 15 - 20 miles away that the truck rental is in Ithaca all set. Ugh, what is going on here! Then Marathon calls and said your truck is here don't worry I will definitely make sure you have it for Friday morning the 20th. We'll wouldn't you know that was a lie because someone else DEMANDED that truck by calling head office! So Ithaca calls and said aren't you picking your truck up today? By this time I am scrambling trying to keep up with this mess!!! My driver goes to get it in Ithaca but my card wouldn't work as we had been told that payment will be made when you drop the truck off it will go thru the card on file. We'll thats not what Ithaca said...."no upfront payment, no rental"! At this point I was ready to get another company....so my driver had to make another trip back up to Ithaca the next day to get the truck. Now we have lost a day and time along with gas that was wasted making 2 trips, aggravation, and emotional upset for almost 2 weeks!!! I am not happy and many people will know what I have been thru! And it still cost me over $2,700.!!! I never had 1 issue with Penske rental...and will use them again!William S.

They failed to set up the key in the lockbox so I could pick up the truck early. My reservation was for 7 and I have to wait an hour until someone showed at 8 to get me the truck. Then the paperwork took a really long time because their internet service was not working well. The woman who helped me was very nice. The drop off was pretty easy, but again the computers were slow.STEPHANIESUSAN D.

Uhaul representative was not friendly or pleasant. I have always paid with cash for my uhaul rentals and never have I even been told that I needed to pay a 100 dollar cash deposit before. The only time I had to pay a deposit was when I used uhaul for the very first time and used my bank card. The lady was rude and argumentative with me as a customer and to be honest if Lowe's had one of there 500 dollar trailers in stock she would have been told where to take her poor attitude and I would never have rented the trailer! Very dissatisfied and will not rent uhaul from this location ever again!!JESSE A.

I worked with Cliff, the guy has a bad temperament. I do not know how one can run a business like that. He got angry at Uhaul rep iver the phone because the system wasn't working like he wants. And then when I asked him to show me how to install my car on the dolly, he said it's not his job and that he would get fired if he did!! I know that's not the case because I worked with Uhaul before. Then I told him that I cannot take it if I can't install my car, it's imperative that someone needs to show me for my move! He started acting nasty and cursing under his breath. Worth treatment ever!!!!Mohamad E.

Be professional, put a smile on your face. If you don't have the temperament to run a business then don't (@Cliff). I was treated in a rude way only for asking to show me how to hook up my car to the dolly!! He said he doesn't want to show me how and it's not his job, then he went on saying that he could get fired. I know that's not the case because that is not my first time with Uhaul. He kept acting rude and disgruntled until I left. Worst treatment ever.Mohamad E.

I inspected this car trailer with the manager we both misses a damaged tire. When I discovered the damaged tire on my travel I called ahead of my location to the next uhaul center. This center quickly swapped out the bad tire, and I was on my way. The issue caused less than 45 minute interruption of my trip.CHRISTPHORS L.
