I messed up my reservation on line. The Lady at Gun Boss really went the extra mile to ensure I had all I needed at the best price possible. Their space for materials is limited so they have to use a satellite location for storage. However, this limitation in the physical location does nothing to detract from the service I received which I have to rate as above excellent.

This is the third time I've used this location. Every time it's the same problems. They cancelled our reservation when we got to the location and then started a new reservation. We tried to do mobile/contactless pickup, but the truck wasn't where it was supposed to be. We had to go inside and start the entire process over. It took more than 30 minutes for them to help me and give me the truck. The truck ended up being across town in a different lot. Because they cancelled our reservation, we got a different truck than the one mobile pick up was going to give us. Just go somewhere else to pick up your reservation. The drive will probably be shorter than waiting at this location.

Betty is by the amazing, I'd give Betty a 10 across the board. If you need to extent a u-haul go see Betty at Gun Boss. Both Betty and Barry are great people! I'm glad to know them. :)

There is Uhaul equipment everywhere!! The gun shop smells like soaked urine. We had to park the trailer along the railroad track (without assistance) and I was told to just leave it (the trailer) in the back and make sure the tongue was not sticking out in the road I had to go back and ask for help to unhook the trailer because of the incline and location of where I was asked to leave it. I would NOT recommend this facility to anyone. Those who are running it are extremely odd and make you feel somewhat creeped out. There are dogs on a lot and equipment part along with broke down cars. There was even a Uhaul utility dolly (that looked brand new) parked inside the fence of the back of the property- still attached to wrapped up box. There's no way anyone would be able to get to it or even use it if they wanted to. You should probably have a representative check that facility out. Gross!

I dropped off the truck a day early. The lady was busy and said she would check me in as soon as possible. I trusted her and left the truck keys with her and left the location. 3 days later I received a phone call from uhaul. Evidently she forgot to check me in. Yes, I should have stayed until my checkin was confirmed. A mistake on my part. Oh well. Nobody is perfect I suppose. I made contact with her and was able to clear up the issue

Make sure to tell future customers that the fender wells on the car trailer have a hinge on the fender. There is a rubber clip that looks like it would be more at home on a ice chest. It can be unclipped and the fender dropped to lower the threshold so vehicles such as the Subaru Forrester. That was not shown to us when we rented our trailer and as a result, could not get the doors open to get out, once the car was on the trailer. It was quite a humorous scene to see my wife crawl in through the clothes and have to shut the car off.

All 4 tires had no tread on them should NEVER been sent out. Texas gun boss gave me trailer registered to another customer & gave my trailer to different customer. Turned trailer in Apr. 6 & 2wks later get contacted I never turned it in. After 5 phones & talking to Uhaul dealer in Casper, Wyo they Uhaul figured out Oh he turned in trailer. Had a major blow out of right rear tire in TX on my way to Wyo due to BAD tires. Wasn't at all pleased with Texas Gun Boss, poor condition of trailer & being dispatched improperly ! I feel we should be compensated some way for all the grief we went thru. Not at all happy with Uhaul. Ray Varney !

Inside the building smelled terrible, like cat urine. There was an uncared for dog out front, in a cage that was too small for it, and it's two puppies. Standing in filth. The “staff” was not happy about taking the trailer off of my truck when I told him I could not lift it myself. When removing the trailer he tossed it as high as he could and let it slam to the ground, I assume he was trying to show me how “light” it was, or how “strong” he was. Either way, it could have hit my truck. To top off my experience, I had to call U-haul because he would not send me a receipt.

I was charged for an extra day in error for $44 on 1/5/2020. I immediately let business owner of the pickup/drop off location know. She contacted the area manager know & requested that a refund be sent to me on 1/7/2020. As of today, I have not received my refund for their error. I have contacted the business owner several times and she tells me that she in turn contacts the area manger, but still no refund. This is totally unacceptable.

Outstanding Service very helpful, unfortunately we were delayed because of the nation wide system for Uhaul was down. That delayed us for about two hours but they were consistent in trying to get us taken care of. Other than the delay no other issues. Truck was good for exactly what we need it for. Kudos!
