I used one of your 26' trucks and when I tried to use the ramp it was stuck and I couldn't use it which made my move twice as long and very unpleasant. Also I was told that if I bring it back after my rental time I was only gonna be charged $20 but I was charged for a whole day. I tried calling the office but got no answer so overall my experience was not good!ALEXIS S.
The system allowed me to reserved a 26 ft truck for 9 am and the location didnt open until 10am. That set us 2 hours behind. Then I was over charged.Sharmelle B.

My pick up location was changed by uhaul because the one i initially choose did not have the equipment available. This is not a big deal but my 38 miles allocation was not updated for the extra 3 miles i had to drive. Since this not at a fault of my own i believe if location is changed by uhaul in the future for a customer the mileage allocation should be updated to reflect the additional mileage. I am not disputing the charges just think it is something for uhaul to think about in the future.Daniel L.
While the location we rented from was very professional and respectful and helpful. The 1800 number was rude and miscommunicated. The manager I spoke to gave me no solutions and simply said she couldn't help. Will not be using this service again.wenceslao M.

Wasted 2 hours total and messed up my entire moving plan. I was on time and ready to roll but the location did not have my truck and told me they would do nothing to help me. After that I waited on hold for 20 minutes. Had to drive several miles to new location which was far from highway. Got the truck but at this point traffic was terrible causing further delay (whole point of 8am pick up was no traffic). When I returned truck there was no one at the office for 30 minutes as they were elsewhere in the building and I had nowhere to drop the keys that couldnt be accessed by other people waiting as well. Process was long and unfriendly too. Overall terrible experience and will not use uhaul ever again.Jacob M.

Many things were terrible. Upon pickup: The older lady at the counter was confused about me picking up my rental. Taken my credit card but forgot she had it which made me nervous for a second. Flat out told me she didn't know how to process a gift card. Rented me a van that had a massive dent on the side which was not noted in my rental until I brought it up to their attention. I eventually gave up on speaking to them and had my husband take over because my patience was long gone. Upon return at 6pm instead of our scheduled 9:30pm. Same lady was there with another lady. I was initially pleased someone else could help me but it turned out they were equally as bad. The new lady said she wanted to go check the van so we walked out and I held the door open for her. Not a single thanks or acknowledgement. Okay, I see how this is going to go. When outside she told me she would be driving the van inside and I would need to step back. I walked to the front door of the shop and watched her put the car in reverse at least 3-5 times on top of turning on and off the car each time. She comes out and rudely asks if I put the emergency break on, I replied yes. She bolted out â€œit's stuck!â€ And walked inside. I said I can release the break and was ignored. Walked back inside and I was standing on the left side of the counter where the lady who attempted to move the van but failed was sitting. The older lady who helped me out earlier in the day sat all the way on the right. The counters here are high and I'm very short. I also happen to be standing behind the flowers on the counter making it almost impossible to see me. She enters a couple things on her keyboard gets up and walks down to the right and tells the older woman â€œmines not working. We will have to use your computerâ€ to which the older lady responds â€œthat young girl you were helping sweet wasn't she????â€ Immediately the look of shock came over the other woman's face as she realized she was openly bad mouthing me in a sarcastic manner and I shouted out â€œIM STANDING RIGHT HERE!â€ In shock she got nervous and started apologizing for her inability to process the gift card from earlier that day and would stop trying to hide the fact she openly made a comment about me. I said â€œI don't care. Please close me out so I can go home. I don't care I've been moving all day.â€ By far the worst customer service experience ever. Not just for U-Haul but in general. It's so bad it's impressive. Forgot she had taken my credit card. Couldn't process a gift card and then openly bad mouthed a customer while they were in the shop. Class act.Darlene P.

I'm sure it had Nothing to do with this location. However the truck that I received, it would not shift it was like the transmission was going to fall off of the truck. Also the latch on the back was very difficult to get hooked on as it was bent.Jessica B.
The people at the desk didn't even inspect the vehicle before I drove away. when I returned the vehicle they wouldn't stop telling me I needed to ad more gas even tho it was over a quarter tank just the way I got it. I will never go there again!christian P.
The facility was closing when I arrived within 10 minutes. I had to move the truck and drop off the keys in a slot. She said an email receipt would be sent. I was not used to this procedure.Luis D.

Just send me to this place for the return in the first place. You had suggested a place 25 miles away and this place was 5 miles, PLUS this was my storage facility and I did not know they did U-Haul as well, so perfect...never had to take the truck anywhere else after unloading to storage.LINDA D.

They did not have the equipment ready or clean. Food and cigarettes in the truck and because of it seems had serious issues with the move. I had to load everything by myself . they also did not have enough blanklets.Kimberly L.

I was giving a truck on an empty gas tank to start. Everyone had an adittude because I made them work. When I returned the truck the person who received the truck had a real bad attitude very miserable cursing and just not wanting to be there. I ask why he was so rude and he said shouldnt fucking be here so late. I told him if there was a problem just leave the keys in the slot and go home. I gave the truck back with half a tank of gas. I believe I was over charged but didn't want to over work your employee looked like he was having a hard time figuring things out. I just won't use uhual ever again. The kicker was that I passed up 2 uhuals on the way back to this location. Nice way to get milage out of you. Good luck hope all works out for you guys. God bless!Luis D.

They upcharged the insurance and have not answered their phone at all today even though they are open (or at least supposed to be). I verified with the woman yesterday that I was taking the $14.00 insurance yet when I saw my receipt today, they charged me $28.00 and are not answering the phone. I left the vehicle last night so I didn't speak with anyone when I dropped it off at 7:10 PM.Cynthia J.
The check in was great the blonde causion woman was very helpful the terrible experience came when I return the equipment. There was an older bold African American gentleman who I approached and informed I was returning the uhaul, the gentleman looked at me ignored me than after two minutes of standing there acknowledged and asks for my name and the keys. At that point the woman who assisted me checking in came in and needed assistance with another area of the faculty and took over checking me out while she walked away her peer proceeded to make remarks about her and belittle her while she was away. Once she returned while finishing my check out process the gentleman was rude and short tempered with her as she was only asking what Shepard doing so she knew how to handle the process in the other area of the facility. Had it not been for this woman's experience at check in and out and who through she was I would never rent from uhaul again. She saved you a customer that gentlemen working there should not be employeed if he cannot even provide and average experience for customers walking in.MIGUEL A.
The screeching noise from opening and closing the doors were near unbearable, at least imbarassing. Other than that the truck was fine. The truck was clean and the gas level was correct and full. (Gas levels should remain full at all times). This represents laziness on the part of Uhaul and leaves too much room for customers to scam or be cheated. Only 2 trucks at this location.JARVIS B.

After hours drop off was extremely confusing... After truck was dropped off I received a text/email the next morning, telling me to return the truck to a different location. Very confusing!!!KEVIN D.
When I arrived in the morning, I was helped by a professional and pleasant woman and got my van smoothly. However when I returned, a different man was now working, but outside on his cell phone and smoking. He yelled at me "You're blocking my garage" and I moved the van. Upon entering the office, he continued to talk on his phone, barely acknowledging myself or saying a word. He mistakenly accused me leaving the gas tank less than 1/2 tank empty and that'd I'd be charged for that, when he misread the gauge and it was actually at 5/8 full. After he gave me my receipt, never apologizing for the mistake, he didn't say a word. I waited there until he said "That's it" and I left. I'll never use this location again because of him and the way he treated me, ostensibly based on my appearance and perceived lifestyle.GABRIEL M.

The lady who checked me in was rude. The fuel tank was not at the level I was told it was and had to fuel much more than necessary so as not to affect contract terms. I have used UHaul for many years without any equivocation. This experience will lead me to now start looking at competitors in the future.Leo S.

U-Haul needs to communicate better with locations. I did advanced check in and it still took 20+ minutes. Additionally some of my information was reported incorrectly and when I looked at the pre-check in, everything was correct. The biggest thing was that I selected the insurance, but that information given to the location said that I declined. That is dangerous and really should be fixed.CASSANDRA W.

The entire experience to rent this van was arduous. I first tried online and it didn't work so I had to call. I spoke to a woman who continued to try and upsell me on things I didn't need. I clearly told her I was moving a couch and two small tables. She kept trying to sell me a truck instead of a van, a two-man moving crew among obvious things I didn't need. I finally finished the phone call with a van rental for 10am. When I got my confirmation email, she still had me down for a truck and for a pick-up at noon. I had to call the local office to change it. Got to the local office right at 10am yesterday to pick up the van and I was STILL down for a truck. Then the man accidentally charged me $1,400. He didn't know how to work the computer system to fix it so he had to make two phone calls. I didn't leave the facility until 10:45. 45 minutes to pick up a van I already rented. I had people waiting for me to help me move these pieces who also had to sit around waiting. I will most likely never use U-Haul again. Bad experience at every turn.SHAWN M.

The contract had the wrong pick up location listed. It was listed for us to go to 4055 N. Broadway-where it was reserved. The employee at this location was not helpful or respectful. He even sent us to the wrong location to pick up our uhaul. I was very disappointed with this location. When we arrived at the location with the uhaul they were very helpful!MELISSA K.
