Instead of setting the drop off location that is preferred for U-haul drop off location, listen to customer and provide the closest drop off location from where customer unloads. I both looked for online a closer drop location I asked the attendant if she could find a closer spot. Instead I was sent 15 miles away in a different town that was closed with locked gate. This has happened both times I have used your service. Almost lost me as a customer.ROBERT M.

I was not given a receipt for having returned the equipment. I was denied a receipt. I was informed we dont get a receipt clearly stating the equipment was returned. When I insisted a signature on my contract â€œsatisfiedâ€ It was done reluctantly and I was told to leave because I â€œmade too big an issue over nothingâ€ Really? Was it nothing to sign the contract in the first place? This is no way to treat at a customer, as if requesting a receipt is somehow a violation. This needs to be taken care of. I need a receipt that I returned the equipment. The so called receipt is a copy of my contract stating a return date and time, but does not say â€œreturned satisfactoryâ€ . There was no statement in writing that it was actually returned. There is a difference between the word return and returned. This needs to go to the top manager immediately if you cannot send customers a decent receipt, if this is your standard policy it needs to be corrected. This is not at all satisfactory or acceptable. Top managers need to make this happen.STEVEN N.

These were my comments/concerns: 1. I was billed for insurance ($14), but didn't notice until after I left the facility. I don't recall selecting/opting into it when I placed the order. In any case, I didn't want to purchase it, particularly since I carry auto insurance that provides coverage. A refund of this charge would be an appreciated gesture. 2. The cargo area of the truck was a bit dirty (dirt and some trash), but I cleaned it out and put down some blankets and made due since time was of the essence. 3. Storage Place representative was helpful and accommodating.Benjamin R.

You have a broken system!!! Your on line booking my cost me a lot of money, as it booked me for a truck and 2 dollies after the center was closed. Five phone calls later the U Haul line cancelled my order. Went in to get the UHaul from facility on Tuesday, who restored my faith in UHaul. But still at return the system added 15.00 to retaliate rate. Again facility taking care of it.....LORITA B.

Worst experience ever. Yesterday I was looking to get a storage facility an they were 30 minutes late opening and after I got the storage I came back around 8:00 pm to unload an they still had a padlock on the storage and after I called they still didn't get back to me promptly so I called again and just said refund my money I'll go elsewhere.Carver H.

This has nothing to do with the specific location but with uhaul scheduling. They made me go completely across town, I drove by 4 other locations in route. Customers know there location and should have more input on pick up location. I understand sometimes you have to go to another site due to equipment availability. Let the customer pick the location.Paul H.

After driving 900 miles in a 20 foot pulling a car hauler, I was exhausted. The place I was scheduled to drop it off, Hitch World in Tyler, Texas, was a complete and utter disappointment. I will never deal with those people for anything ever. I eventually ended up at the place where my things were to be stored, The Storage Place in Tyler, TX. He is also a U-Haul dealer. THE STORAGE PLACE IS TO RECEIVE ALL THE HIGHEST MARKS! These folks could not have made things any easier or treated me any better.Theone A.
