I had no problems with the store house lady was very courteous but it did get a lil intense with the self help phone register , human are better to deal with instead of computer on some things.

The trucks are dirty and when asked about cleaning them especially with COVID going on, I was told that she didn't work for uhaul and someone from uhaul is supposed to come and keep the trucks clean. It was layers of dust and dirt. The outside is so dirty you can tell it hasn't been washed in a while. This crazy virus is going around and no one is cleaning these vehicles clean in between rentals as they should be. I will definitely be goimg further with a complaint as someone can get sick due to their neglect. They shouldn't even be open. If they're not following the state wide protocol for businesses.

Just the overall experience.. one I reserved at one location and it was closed it took me calling to find out my reservation was moved to a different location and I almost missed getting a truck.. then the truck had ashes in the ashtray, the car power adapter didn't work. One of the worst driving trucks. And just wasn't my normal Uhaul experience for start to driving the truck and back.

At this location the lady was very friendly and helpful. The location on Pendleton Pike where I started out at, was way overbooked and ended up having to give out the guarantee. Yet they were very friendly. I would highly recommend using the Mitthoefer location.

Make sure the check in process is fixed because I wasn't able to check in at the right time. The only reason I was able to complete my move is because the employee working at this location went above and beyond to help me. Pay her better.

I checked out the vehicle using the online checkout process. The approval took 20 minutes. I only had the vehicle for a short period and the long approval made it difficult to finish on time. When I reserved the vehicle the night before, I uploaded images of my license. When I went through the online checkout process the next day, it again forced me to upload images of my license making me wonder why I had to do it the night before.

Well, during the time of recession job losses limited income, the deals of renting is more attractive with the $19 a bay unlimited miles. This is a cost friendly problem I saw about this rental at this time and date dealing with the COVD- 19 crisis.

I do not work for Uhaul. Why do I have to do so much work to rent and return a truck. It is not faster. It is not easier. It makes me look elsewhere. Whatever happened to goood old fashion customer service.

Help advertise this location, it is set back out of the way and no one knows it's there. The 1st uhaul store I went to was booked solid while I was the only customer booked at the Mitthoffer location.

Never got to talk to anyone abut renting for more days. Also the building was locked and have to wait for someone to buzz you in even with normal business hours. People were not very friendly.

My original location was 8844 East Washington. They did not have the keys available for pickup. So I ended up losing valuable time and an increase in rental mileage. So even though the location of 25th and mitthoffer was great I had a overall bad experience.

Winter months are harsh. They need a battery jump box at this location. The vehicle battery was dead on the truck i rented lucky they had a second truck available.

We returned the truck 10 minutes late due to traffic conditions. We had left a flat furniture mover at the house because my son neglected yo gather it when it told to do so. Rather than re rent the additional equiptment for another day, which we would have used, we were refused to return the truck without the extra and charged an additional 100 give or take. We rented the truck 2 days and would have gladly used the truck and extras on that 3rd day we were charged for but also were not given the option to add tbe additional day. This is ridiculous. I dibt know if this is the location at fault or the company policy to just screw the public, but i will never use uhaul again nor will i recommend the company to anyone. I have only good things to say about the truck and equiptment but the business practices i was privy to experience only left me with a distatse for the company.

Although the truck was clean, the customer service was rude and unwelcoming. The receptionist didn't even come out to the truck for the initial walk-around for inspection. She just sat in her seat and very dryly handed me a piece of paper and told me to mark an X on a 2 inch illustration of a truck. I felt uncomfortable to even ask any questions. Even my family members who came in to help me return the truck, felt that the receptionist was rude and unhelpful. This was my first time visiting this location and I am sad to say this will be my last.

When I picked up the truck, there was a large hole in the roof like someone had topped a bridge. I called in an reported the damage and they told they already knew of the damage and that it was a hazard to go ahead and use the truck. Today I got a phone call blaming me for the damage even though I had officially reported it when I picked up the truck. I am not happy to be blamed for something and potentially being held accountable for things that I did not do. I will not be recommending uhaul to anyone else that ever needs to move in Indianapolis.

When I arrived to pick up truck, I was informed that this location did not have a hand truck for me. I had to carry over 40 boxes up three flights of stairs one at a time. Secondly, the right rear well cover is not sealed and as it was raining when I moved, my master bed mattress was against that wall and was completely soaked and stained beyond use. Very bad experience and will look for other options next time.

I reserved the truck online for 2pm that day. But when I got to the location, the office was closed. The sign said it was Open; and their posted hours were until 6pm that day. Turned out the employees had went to lunch and shut the office down while they were gone. We waited 30 minutes for the office to open again.
