Jason JonesThe location was excellent, but the self checkout system failed miserably. It cycled me through a loop between starting the checkout and confirming the truck until the system finally said I needed to complete the rental at the counter. Now, the office was CLOSED, and I would've been screwed, but it just so happened a staff person for the OTHER business on site was around and was able to help me out. In short, the self-check out system did not work.

No improvements needed, besides uhaul company itself lowering local mileage rates.

Mckee DixonAfter our last uHaul experience we wouldn't recommend any uhaul location to anyone, not even an enemy. The uHaul location we originally ordered from didn't have our uHaul and sent us all the way to this location 4 hours after we were supposed to pick our uHaul up.

WAYNE CRATERI had no issues with this location. I did have a slight issue with trying to scan the bar code for mobile pick up as it is located too close to the key box. I suggest it be put up higher. Took me about 10 min to get it to work, and again to return the info of drop off when returning it. So give yourself some time. I do not think this is due to the location provider, but U haul itself.

John MorrisI was overcharged from the agreement made over the phone after I had to call in because I would have to drive an additional 40 miles at $0.79/mile to pick up a truck at an alternative location. The owner at the Theater Motel location initially did not think he had an appliance dolly as requested in my reservation. He deducted the $10 rental (mind you, the entire amount was still higher than agreed upon on the phone with a different representative). A few days after returning the truck, an additional $15+ was charged to my card. What you can do to improve for the next customer ... get everyone on the same page, don't charge someone 50% more than advertised for add-ons, streamline the process so that customers don't waste an hour at pick up while the employee fumbles through the computer although the customer did the online check-in including scanning their license. Very, very frustrated with this encounter. Likely not to return.

Meghan HinesHave a small but readable sign that points to the drop box location. There is a vacant building that is empty but it can be confusing because you have to park in front of the vacant building and drop the keys off at the motel. I know it tells in the paperwork but I'm a more visual person. A small sign to point to parking one way and drop box the other. Th e only thing that even says UHaul is the drop box by the office.

I called your customer service and they quickly took care of ensuring we had a trailer in Westfield. Not happy at first, but your customer service pulled through!! thank you- we will definitely use you again.
