Matt is a very pleasant person we needed a u haul at the last minute. He explained the truck and van, we chose the van it was more convenient for us. He was great explaining everything to us clearly. I would definitely rent from that place again.

I was charged $20for after hrs fee I returned vehicle before 4pm on Oct24 and returned it online and included pics as instructed. I have sent 2 mags inquiring who was charged, still no reply I'm not happy with the customer service and will be calling my credit card to dispute the $20 service charge. Thank you, Lisa Garon

The after hours checkin did not work. It would be nice if the call center reps at the 800 number could assist with this process when it doesnt work. If the App is unable to confirm the location when checking van back in I should receive a call to assist the return.

The only improvement that I can see is to eliminate the courtesy check in fee of $20. I was able to return my van to an agent at Thirty Pines. However if I was delayed it didn't make sense for me to not get the same level of service at no additional charge, Not all of your customers have smart phones, so your self check in is complicated, if not impossible for us. Overall my experience with your agent Clint was great. He explains things clearly and has an overall friendly and helpful approach to customers.

The online check-in definitley did not work as well as promised. The site would lag and claim it could not upload photos and was very time consuming while accepting my payment. I have also responded to an e-mailed receipt over some billing questions and have not heard back yet. I will await a response as I am aware it is a holiday weekend

I just think if you don't use equipment like the dolly and furniture pads you should get the money you paid refunded. Definitely not a great business practice!

Your online pick up and drop off is ridiculous it took us longer to log in and register than it did to move our stuff out of storage. Checking the truck back in was also ridiculous as it took us longer to let the on line system know we were done than it did to park the van. The live chat is nuts, and a joke. getting someone to speak via the chat does not work or in fact we called the customer service number and it was busy for 2 hours....what the heck????? Customer service sucks, the facility was great and the people who work there are great but the online service stinks

Make sure the equipment has a license plate on and is street legal. The employee hadn't noticed the missing license plate from the trailer, when my husband pointed it out, the employee said to go ahead and take it anyway. "It'll be fine," your employee said. If my husband had driven away and got stopped by the police, it would have been a fine for us and points against my husbands license.

My biggest complaint is the 90 minutes I wasted attempting to extend the rental agreement by a day. I called the u haul number and after 20 minutes on hold decided to follow the repeated message to alter reservations on line. After 60 minutes of clicking on every link I could find, the only reference to changing a reservation was to call UHaul. The uhaul representatives themselves could not guide me for online changes. Why does a company verbal tell the customer to change the reservation themselves online when it can not be done? Also the wait times was 25 minutes or more each time I called. The representatives however, deserve alcolades for their generous help and kindness. Mechanically, - while on a slight hill the truck would not go into reverse. I pressed the gas pedal to the floor with no response. The truck actually glided forward . After 5 minutes, turning off the engine, waiting and repeating the procedure several times, reverse worked. The rest of the trip, there was no issue with reverse.

The salesperson was very unprofessional. Our pick up was for 4:45 pm. We arrived at 4:49 pm and were told that we were late and that the facility was closed at 5 pm. When we pointed out that it was not yet 5, and that the sign on the door indicated that the facility was open until 5:30, the salesperson insisted that the sign was wrong and that he had to go to a graduation. He finally assisted us, but was extremely unpleasant the entire time. Again and again he said that he had a graduation to attend and that we were taking too long. Truly not the experience we expected and we will not patronize this location again.

I went in to get a uhaul which I had never done before. Matt at fhisherville thirty pines uhaul charged me 250 for the uhaul and never explained there would be a fee to change location. The difference in price was about $100 for returning it 10 miles closer to me.When I called back, matt as well as your regional customer support manager was extremely rude and said it was our fault for not reading the contract. I signed the contract no knowing I could of saved $100 if I brought it back to them. Very dissatisfied, I will be taking my business to a different company after this terrible experience.

great and easy to pick up. Didn't like having to take all the pictures at the end for the Mobile App return of vehicle I paid for a dolly which was not in the truck. The movers were outstanding. However getting them to get paid and all that was very difficult and had to go to moving. com. Not user friendly Their customer service wasn't very friendly or helpful . 2 Jacked guys was our moving company. I cannot say enough of how great they were!

There was nothing wrong with the vehicle itself and the pick up/ drop off went smooth. it wasn't until after when I was charged for imaginary "electronic tolls" when I only used cash tolls. I was in contact with Josie Mada of the Tolls and Citations department until she made the decision to ignore me after charging me for these false Citations, I wont be using Uhaul again any time soon.

Store clerk took time to thoroughly explain all aspects of the rental policy along with a step by step review of what is needed to drive & use the rental truck. During the review process of the truck he made sure mirrors were adjusted accordingly.

Vehicles should be provided with a full tank of gas and then can be returned with a full tank of gas. Providing rentals with a half tank of gas and expecting them back with a half tank is not customer-friendly. Having to look up a chart and attempt a calculation for how much gas to put in the tank (and still get it wrong!) is frustrating and adds unnecessary time to the rental process.

Overall I was very satisfied. My move was very challenging.. it was good not to have any truck issues of any kind. Late model trucks help a lot to inspire confidence in the equipment being rented. I felt better knowing I was renting an essentially new truck..

I sat in front of uhaul for greater than 2 hours trying to obtain the key to the truck from the lock box after hours. I had preordered the rental under my husband's name. It was when I went to pick up the truck, I first opened the email from uhaul with the information on how to obtain the key. I didn't know my husbands license expiration year and wasn't able to reach him via phone at that time to ask. I reached out via chat typing back and forth to a representative. I was advised to change the rental into my name. This led to the system locking me out from continuing on. The chat rep then advised I call uhaul to request a preverification code. When i called, I was on hold for extended periods of time. There was a repeated message requesting feedback regarding your experience. It Never let me know an agent would be with me once available. I hung up a few times after waiting 6 minutes and would try again. I pleaded via chat requesting help, while i waited to speak with a human. I eventually spoke with someone and explained my situation. After she consulted someone, she indicated it could take up to 24 hours to resolve. She said she'd cancel out my order and I could start from scratch and reorder the truck in my name. Which I did do, however, I then ran into the problem of the emergency contact person. I wasn't aware they want to speak with the emergency contact person before they allow you to take the rental. I put my husband down but he wasn't available via phone at that time. I put my mother down however she won't answer the phone if she doesn't recognize the number. I had to notify my mother they'd be calling so she'd answer. It was a very stressful experience!

Inside your truck it states receive a month of storage free and we were told that didn't count for this location but the stikney Ave location had no units available so I'd appreciate a free month of storage at the Thirtey pines location please & thank you Sincerely The Smith's
