First off I asked to be close to the address where I needed the truck and the sent me 40 minutes out of the way which had me use most of my mileage then when I arrived the lace was closed no contact and no key box to leave key for truck

The business didn’t report that the truck was returned! I returned it on Saturday night!
Lorena MInexperienced staff. Had to cancel online reservation and complete in-person reservation because associate couldn't figure out system. Never checked equipment back in so was getting emails threatening extra fees.
Angela DI scheduled the truck online for an 8:30am pick-up. The store officially opened at 9:30am, but it was guaranteed that this truck was still available at that time through the online process. I got to the location at 8:30 and no one was there, the truck was not ready, and the keys were not available. I tried to check in online twice and it said I needed to come back and pick the truck up at 9:30 when the store opened. I called the customer service line and they were amazing - very helpful! Although frustrated and now late for our moving time, I accepted the help and came back at 9:30. The person did not arrive to the store until 9:40. As he walked up to unlock the store, he was talking on the phone (speakerphone) and barely acknowledged my existence. I walked into the store with him and continued to wait as he did my contract on his cell phone while still talking to the person on the phone. I never saw a contract, never saw anything that he was doing, and was never asked a question or given any guidance. He did ask if I was there for a 9:30 pickup to which I responded it was supposed to be 8:30. His response: "I don't know who told you that. We open at 9:30." He then told me that it would be $28 for the insurance coverage. When I told him it was only $14 when I booked the truck online, he showed me his phone and said "I got two options, $28 or no insurance. You want the truck or nah?" At this point, I was over an hour behind and just needed to go. He did not look at the truck at all. He finished on his phone and handed me the key. The inside of the store was disgusting and honestly it was hard to tell if this was a legitimate UHAUL place. When I came back to return the truck, it was the same experience. He was on the phone, talking to people in the parking lot, and smoking a cigarette in my face. He checked off all the boxes he needed to on his phone and said I was good. Again, I never saw a contract or anything that he was doing. I will never rent from this place again.
Dylan GAlthough the guy who was there was nice, he had no idea what he was doing. He didn’t know how to connect the chains from the trailer to the car … I had to show him. When I got where I needed to load pieces, I realized he had not connected the lights. He told me I was “good to go”, but there was not even a light cable. I had to search four other U-haul sites to finally find a cable…. NEVER let U-haul send you to this location!!!!
Tyler LThe truck sounded like a rocket about to launch into space so I could not use it. They did not help me find a replacement vehicle and did not cancel my charges for this vehicle. It was a hot mess and put us hours behind schedule.
Kim AWas told rental items were in the truck 3 dozen blankets - 2 utility carts - 2 dollies - they were - called and was told they don’t have those items?? Tried to get a refund- still waiting…
Chelsea PThe van was infested with ants, so I had to spray ant killer before I was able to use the vehicle. I brought this to the field manager’s attention, and he helped me sweep some of them out of the vehicle, and told me I was able to spray if needed, but that he didn’t have any.

Tasha Edid not have uhaul at location I had reserved from. Was sent to three different locations to get truck, pads, dolly and pre-purchased items. Truck has a leak and got my boxes wet, windshield wipers were old and didn't work. Check in app didn't work and couldn't get anyone to answer 1800 number.
robert AWhen people move they don't always have brooms with them, a broom should have been made available to customer to sweep out truck. $25 for someone to sweep out truck is highway robbery- will not rent from uhaul again. Needless to say not a happy customer, especially since they charged credit card without permission. Drove truck to a different location where trucks were needed and then after helping out U Haul they do this to a customer who goes out of their way to help them. NOT A CUSTOMER ANY LONGER
Donna FClose the farrow road branch down. It is a USED tire store located in the highest crime area in Columbia s c. The I- pad to complete my transaction did not work. The personnel went from one customer to another without completing the first transaction. The employee changed two tires then came back to me. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Tyrone LDon't think the clerk spoke english, called someone to check me out over the phone. No paperwork. 18 miles from my home instead of the location 2 blocks away I requested. Found out at my destination that he had registered less milage (120) than he told me on the phone (144) which wasn't sufficient in the first place with the added milage back from pickup, Misstated the fuel amount on the contract I was never shown. Fortunately we had pictures. Terrible experience.
Douglas RThis is a small location and therefore did not have the largest size trucks that we needed. That was an inconvenience as we had to make two trips when one would have been enough.
