I will be filing a complaint with U-Haul. The service on the front end involved calling me the day before my move and telling me that I had to pick up the truck in another location and this was completely unacceptable. I was greatly inconvenienced and I was not compensated for this change. Likewise the drop off location was also changed resulting in having me drive 100 miles out of my way. When I called to complain, the first customer service rep was extremely rude. Finally, when the truck was returned to the alternative location that u-haul chose without advance notice to me, we were told to just leave the keys in a drop box which we did. The truck was returned in pristine condition and all blankets were either folded or unused. The truck was swept and completely clean and we took pictures of the inside at drop off. Despite this, uhaul charged me nearly $200 for a cleaning fee and once again, failed to compensate me for the extra 100 mile plus drive to an alternative location. Honestly, I don’t know how uhaul stays in business. The business practices are misleading and I will never rent from uhaul again. I will be filing a formal complaint.

Gena BOverall, a favorable experience, though my "yes" answers are really yes and no. The equipment was well-maintained, but truck's interior was not clean. And as far as recommending U-Haul, I would but with reservations. The best aspect of the experience was how well the truck handled and how much "stuff" I could cram into a 10 footer. What I most objected to was the extra mileage penalty. I had a 115 mile limit and drove the truck 133 miles. The penalty? Eighteen dollars. A dollar per mile. Absolute price gounching.

Constance NWe were told that the truck can be picked up on Friday. We were told to use the code and the keys were in the truck. is what what I did. I kept getting phone calls from U Haul that the truck was not picked up. We had to make a second trip to the office to officially check it out. Wasting our time.

ERIC FThe Morning of pickup store opened 10in late. Returned trk late night, could not find key drop box. Went back at 8 to return key and store opened 20 min late. Come to find out the drop box is located in the corner of the property behind a tree, not visible. This needs to told to customers since I had said I would be returning late night. And employees need to be on time to open.

Tracey CThey were not accurate on the starting mileage, and overcharged me by 110 extra miles, I only went 13 miles, then I was charged for $35 of gas. When I tried to fix this with them, they weren't helpful. I had to call Uhaul direct to get this resolved. Fortunately, I took pictures that shows the mileage and the gas tank before and after. This is not a complain against Uhaul, but more about TNT Delivers.

Gena BVery difficult process. Frustrating standing in heat trying to manage that lock. While there was no debris in the truck, cup holders were not wiped out. Much easier going to someplace that has people. Won’t do this again.

frank mThe battery maybe was what the drop off guy had said as maybe the issue with it chugging to start later on when I prepped to drop off the vehicle. Hopefully that was the issue as an easy fix for the vehicle.

Kate MIt allowed me to pick a time for drop off when the business is closed the instructions state to put your key in a lock box or dropbox. However, this location does not have either. I called the one 800 number and they instructed me to give it to an I called the one 800 number and they instructed me to give it to a business nearby and ask for a manager, the second option was to put it in a drop box that didn’t exist, and my final option was to put the keys in the truck and lock it and they told me they would put a note in my account stating that that was the direction given to me. Also, the businesses around are not open after 4 o’clock, so they’re also no help.

estera mThe location and staff were great. My problem was the deceptive pricing on the app. I rented my truck on the app for 8 hours (after hours return) with my mileage already calculated. Moving day I find out on site that there is no after hours delivery and I have to return the next day. As a result I ended up paying an additional $94. So if you rent directly from the location you may have a better experience. If you rent through the app I 10 out of 10 would NOT recommend.

daniel aThe customer service was amazing. I will definitely go back. Everyone knew what was going on. There was a problem with the truck itself. An alarm was going off inside the truck the entire time we drove it (for over 2 hours) beeping. It was extremely annoying. When we got back to drop off the truck it sounded like this was a problem they were aware of that happened often with this truck.
rhea hI was lucky to find an Uber driver to drive me home from this location - this location is in an industrial area where there is not much coverage for Uber/Lyft. Anyhow I had only had the truck for about 4 hours everything was fine with the truck. When I dropped it off I was happy to have my receipt sent to me via email like I have had done in the past. Oh I have been using U-Haul locations from WA-MT-TX-CA recently, so I am familiar with the procedures for returning trucks and when we are all agreed that the truck was returned as it left I should be able to get on my way in 5-10 minutes. However in this case the young man training the new employee was only to happy to let poor new employee struggle with the outtake process as I struggled to keep my Uber driver from leaving. I over and over clearly stated to the young man that I was happy with an email receipt and I was not wanting to be stuck in his no window trailer house(it’s also 110 degrees outside) of an office while my ride back to civilization was itching to get the hell out of there! It made me feel like he was trying to trap me inside the office? Not cool!
