Initially, I went to the long location to pick up, that was my bad and not an issue. Then, I went to Call Field and Bailey told me that they didn't have a truck they could give me and I had to go to Kell (a couple miles away). So I call Kell and let them know I'm late but I'm on my way, and they have no idea what I'm talking about because my pickup is scheduled at Call Field. I go ahead and go to Kell, they tell me that the person in charge (Bailey) had been on the phone all morning and something got mixed up, but he wasn't because I had talked to him. When I went back to Call Field, I got the truck with 2 miles to empty.Tamera B.

The location overcharged me and added items I refused. I called the location to discuss the matter but he refused to speak and said he would call me back. He did not call and I had to ask if he was going to take my name or number. I had to call corporate to resolve the problem. He did not check in my return and did not go over any information. The location clearly did not complete their check out/check in process as i received a text an hour after i RETURNED the vehicle saying it was due back in an hour and then was contacted the next morning saying that i hadn't returned the truck even though it had been returned 20 hours earlier.Cassie N.
We first registered to do a counter pickup. The night before the move, we get notifications that our rental location and check-in and check-out style had changed. I asked the young lady if there was anything I needed to do in advance for the 24/7 rental. She assured me that all I had to do was check in with my phone and allow the GPS tracker show my location. Unfortunately, there is a registration process for the 24/7 rental that the employee was either uninformed about or didn't understand how that truly works. Anyways, there was a long process the morning of the move to get registered, including phone call with another U-Haul employee not understanding what I meant when I questioned him about an alternate contact when I had already submitted three person's names and their phone numbers. I had to give a fourth person and his phone number to be released for the 24/7 rental. It's harder to get U-Haul rentals than to vote in America. When we finally received the rental go-ahead instructions, we opened the trailer door, and to our dismay, we found wooden pallets and trash. I have video and pictures of that rental. I tried to cancel online, but once that process is started, apparently it can't be stopped via online check-in. Once again, I had to call the U-Haul headquarters. She was surprised. However, she did help us get a new rental that was in moving condition. We verified the truck's mileage and found it was off in your system. We also expressed our frustration that there was no code or box to get the the keys. Instead, the cab door was unlocked with the keys in the ignition. I told the lady agent, who was the only helpful and knowledgeable employee we talked to, my concern of returning the truck to such an insecure location. She walked us through to finding a key drop box and assured us that taking pictures at the end of the day would be a sufficient check-out. All-in-all, I give U-Haul two stars for this 24/7 rental experience. If I need to rent a truck again, I will look into Penske and avoid the self check-in/check-out of U-Haul.Dennis M.

The pick up location made it known that renting uhauls was not their primary job and not a priority to them. They made me wait 30 minutes for them to finish 2 oil changes to then push a total of 10 buttons on the computer and bring out the uhaul to me. They acted as though I was inconveniencing them even though I had a reservation for a specific time to pick up. I would definitely NOT recommend this location to anyone. The trucks were dirty, the first truck had mechanical issues (busted ignition was replaced but the steering wheel had a significant clunk and no parking brake) and was still dispatched. The Uhaul mobile check in through uhaul.com is awful. The service is slow and failed to work correctly. We had to go through the process with a rep at the pick up location. The pick up location was great. They were fast friendly and made it easy. I would highly recommend them! Uhaul, you have some work to do on your mobile no contact check in.Josh B.

I had originally reserved the truck from a different location. For whatever reason they didn't have my truck so they were supposed to reserve one at this location. When I got there they asked me my name and I told them. They laughed at my last name and I could hear them making fun of it. The entire time I was standing there they made fun of me as if I wasn't there. I will NEVER do business with them again and I probably will not ever choose to do business with uhaul. We were scheduled to pick the truck up at 8 am , didnt get it until 10:21am but this was due to the system being down. The man at Todd's Lube was extremely rude. I got a hold of the Kell location and the man came and made sure we got it. It was originally 270$ but ended up being 312 with a 100$ deposit since we were using cash. I was moving 125 miles away dropping the truck off one way. I just feel like it should have been cheaper since we dropped off that day instead of using the full 3 days. Attendant removed some dollies and blankets just prior to handing me the keys. The back of the 26' truck had not been swept out and I had to clean prior to my loading. There were a few items left in cab from previous driver as well. This particular truck we rented had little to no shock absorption. It truly jostled the "heck" out of you while driving. Since we drove it a minimum of 6 hours one way, and drove it back for return, it was about a 12 plus hour of unnerving uncomfortableness. At least the side of the truck did not state in letters as others, "Gentle Ride." I have driven several of these 26' rentals in the past, but this was truly unforgettable.Robert W.

When we got our confirmation we were scheduled for pick up a different location. When we called the original location they were little to no help in to figuring out why this happened. We did not receive a call stating the change so with moving a 3 bedroom home with a time limit and small children, I was rather upset. The customer service agent at the call field pick up location was amazing. He mapped out our route, worked diligently to ensure we had the time and mileage needed, and provided the most respectful services. I would recommend this pick up location in the future. He was knowledgeable and very helpful during the tough time of a move!Debra J.
