I like this place but I only had my auto hauler for a single day before turning it in on the Saturday, labor day weekend of 2021. I called and let them know that I could not turn in the auto hauler via voicemail and asked them to call me the day after labor day when they were busy. Instead of helping me out I was charged for having the auto hauler for an extra day when I turned it in 2 days early. I have photos with gps location and time stamped when I turned it in. This location also has video cameras to verify I turned it in on that saturday.Paul O.

The truck was covered in snow and ice. A plow had cleared the lot behind it and had blocked the truck in from behind. We had to clean the truck ourself and dig it out with a shovel. It was a pain and delayed our move by over an hour. Luckily we had a shovel in our vehicle. We tried 3 different phone numbers for this location and got either answering machines or wrong number notifications. The truck itself was fine, once we got it out.Marvin M.

Place should not be renting uhuals. My uhual was blocked in waited 20 min for someone to finally move the blocking vehicle. Went back 2 days later to rent another uhual and the place was closed and the truck was blocked in. Complete joke. I urge uhual to not let that place rent Uhuals. What's the point when the trucks are blocked in and no1 around to help.Ronald B.

No mention of the extra costs was made when we rented the truck. A $19.95 per day charge became a $39.00 charge with all the added costs. Rentals are not the main income at this location, but the owner could take a little more time to explain what the charges are going to be. It basically doubled our cost for the 4 hour rental.Randell B.

Put a jack on that trailer. Three of us could not get that hitch off the ball. A nasty experience. At home I had to use a floor jack to get that D++n thing off. Not could for the elderly.Greg R.
First and foremost I was completely let down that U-Haul does not offer a military discount. I requested a trailer two weeks in advance to be picked up in Bettendorf, IA at a location that opened at 0700. I received notification the day before that I had to pick up the trailer in Fulton, IA. Which was 39 miles in the opposite direction and the company in Fulton didn't open until 0900. This is extremely frustrating and interfered and caused me to change my plans. There was no compensation offered or given which is completely not customer orientated. I guess it doesn't matter as U-Haul has the rental trailer market covered. Unfortunately for me I will end up using U-Haul in again in the future for my next military move. On a positive note - the trailer seemed to be brand new and towed very well. The problem I had was I returned on May 30th and they charged me for returning on the 31st. I didn't stick around for the bill because of computer problems. I guess when you return on a holiday they charge you when they come back to work.Gary B.

Worst uhaul location ever. Put gas back where it was and cleaned out vehicle got charged $60 for not putting gas in which we did and not cleaning out vehicle when we did. Not very good customer service skills at all want to get attitudes and snotty with customers rather than trying to resolve issues will never use this specific uhaul location againSteven S.

This was the worst customer experience I have ever had. I have rented from U-Haul many times and he was so rude and even though my reservation was scheduled for Saturday at 9:30am pick-up he called me on Friday and said if I don't pick it up Friday before 530pm that I may not have a U-Haul because it is not worth his time as he only makes $10 off this.CATHY L S.

What is the purpous of making a reservation, receiving a confirmation of what was ordered, and then nothing was honored or happened as promised/reserved. It is very unlikely I will use Uhaul or refer Uhaul to anyone.ANNETTE C.

Couldn't get in contact with drop off location. Called several times. Left message. No callback. No place to park 26' truck or trailer. Went back and talked to them on Monday after Saturday drop off.RANDAL B.
I dropped off the truck after hours and there was nowhere to leave the truck. I couldn't get to their parking lot in a car, let alone in a 26' truck. I was unclear if the properties located next to their building were theirs or not. I didn't want to get them in trouble if it wasn't theirs. The interior of the trailer was filthy. Floor, sidewalls and even the ceiling was covered with mud and dirt. Had to hand wash the interior before I could use the trailer.Jeff S.

Get someone in there that knows a bit more about the uhaul system and the way it works. After I dropped the truck & trailer off. I returned 1 day later than I was supposed to cause I had a medical problem right before leaving. Then when I returned the truck the kid charged me a day for late fee. But forgot to charge a late fee for the trailer. So they automatically took out a late fee of my account for the trailer at a later date cause they forgot to charge. WITHOUT notifying me first. So they could have caused me to have an overdraft fee.MALPAS B.

tell the people not to be so short with customers.i did the online check-in to save time & when i got to the pick-up location with my order #, he said that the online check-in didnt mean anything & i had to do it over again at his shop, so it really didnt save any time. when we were getting close to the pick-up location, we called to get directions to his shop. he was very short with us & basically told us we were stupid for not knowing how to get to his place(we had never been to this area before). we ended up calling him 3 times to get his location.larry B.
