Rented this 5x8 closed pull behind trailer at last minute. Staff was super nice and very helpful. They assisted us with hooking up the trailer and even helped take it off the hitch when we returned it. My rental papers and receipt were quickly emailed to me as soon as we left. The return parking lot is awful! Very tiny and not at all accessible. There was no place to park the small, enclosed trailer, so we pushed it out of the way and blocked the wheels with boards. Staff called me the next morning (today) to tell me we had to come and move it because they â€œcouldn'tâ€ (even though we were able to with no problem) and I will be charged a $50 fine if it's not moved before 1:00pm. She was rude and cold and accusations. There is nowhere else we could have put the trailer because we would have blocked gates or doors and there are posted signs stating not to block them. I am very unhappy with the inability to properly park the trailer and then being blamed for not parking it appropriately. Absolutely will not us uhaul again. I will be calling corporate and filing charge back if I am billed $50 or a late fee.JENNIFER S.

Well, I was told I returned truck with less gas and I was charged? I was told I got 6 blankets, hand truck and was charged? I had to go out of my way back to this location to show my picture of the gas, showing with mileage and Parked and yes there were no blankets or hand truck in back of truck when returned! Because I didn't get any. Only after I proved I was right was I given a credit. I've used uhaul a good bit and just moved out of a storage unit. Wasting my time to prove I did the right thing, doesn't appeal to me. ThanksJEFFREY P.

My reservation was transferred to her location and she provided seamless support in ensuring my truck and transporter were secured and ready for me to pick-up as scheduled on my move date. I am extremely grateful for her attention to detail, thoroughness and her proactive was in working through my concerns with installing the transporter and reassurance that all will align with my reservation and it did just as she said. there was a software miscalculations on drop off/ pick up for the gas fuel level. at pickup the website doesn't give you precise number just a visual indicator, but at drop off the gas tank level indecator is divided into precise amounts in the website, that creates mis calculations and that's why I didn't accept the extra amount of charge I was charged. I had a Uhaul location 1/2 mile from my house and for some reason, I had to drive to Mooresville to pick up truck. I thought it automatically picked the closest pickup spot. Was only 5-6 miles but would have been nice to have the closest spot. Person at Mooresville was very GOOD and helpful!!joseph J.

Had to wait outside while staff checked in truck/ did paperwork inside. We were charged $10, which isn't much, for their assisting us in unloading car from auto transport and parking it - but they never told us there would be a charge we just got an email receipt after the fact. (We were not charged anything when we picked up the auto transport and that facility was very helpful and friendly hooking it up and getting the car on.)ELIZABETH LEACH M.

Dangerous equipment . Horrible customer service. The truck had almost no brakes. Of course by the time I figured it out it was after hours and 30 miles away. I was forced to drive all back roads at low speeds it doubled the time required and doubled the miles--'they charge for each mile. I called the 800 number and was told a manager would contact me. The dealer wasn't open on Sunday. Other local dealers in town were open. I wasn't comfortable just leaving the truck across the street in a shopping area park lotPhilip T M.
Remove signage telling people doors are closed and that checkin is ONLY being done virtually. Not everyone has the most advanced mobile technology - or ability. U-haul rep connected safety chains in awkward formation - chains became too low to ground once trailer was loaded. Had to reconnect chains in accordance with uhaul videos (through hitch and double back S hook to trailer).ANDREA A.
The location was amazing over compensated for U-Haul stupidity!!!! However uhaul needs to do better at not over booking We got no appliance dolly we requested and then previous people showed up late with truck to drop off then previous people drove off with keys to truck !!! They did not fill the gas tank up for the next customer. I had to drive to Myrtle Beach during a gas shortage not knowing if I would make it or not. If you get a rental car it comes with a full tank of gas. Should be the same for U-Haul. They game me some used blankets that had mulch on them and packing tape stuck to them. Also after making my reservation at a different location that opens at 7:30am, U-Haul switched me the night before to this one that doesn't open until 9am. Just not cool. It's hard enough to move without these complications causing additional stress. Now I'm really not a fan of U-Haul. Get your act together!John B.
