ALAN PThe location was fine. The experience was horrible! We had to have customer service help for 30’minutes. The furniture dolly we requested wasn’t in the truck . We were given a tiny hand truck instead making it almost impossible to move our items. None of the steps were emailed over so we had no idea that we needed to wake up someone at 7am for a phone call. The “$19.95” all day truck was “$75 not including gas.

angela MI rented a 10 ft truck for 4 hours, everything was explained except the detail of returning after hours @630pm to verify my equipment return online, there was no mention of this in person, instead when i get my bill i have an extra $20 charge since an employee verified my return. Obviously i would of verified the return if i was told to do so to avoid an unnecessary charge. No text reminder, no email reminder just another way of unnecessary charges. i should charge for the hair that was in the back of the vehicle I had to clean before I put my items inside. Therefore i will not be using Uhaul for my moving needs all over a $20 charge.

Bobby DWhen I first rented the U-Haul, Lauren, who is the manager of this location, was very cordial, responsive and respectful to me. She was actually very nice and made the process very pleasant. However, when I went out to look at the truck that she had made it seem like I was getting, it was very nice, clean and a newer model. I was only able to find out that afterwards I was getting a little older model which was actually dirty with mud and dirt on the side of it and it had not been really well cleaned at all. There has been a billing discrepancy at the end of this process as well and my experience overall has been poor and I would not and will not be coming back.

Richard KThe agent who took care of us didn’t seem to be very competent. She didn’t know the dimensions of the cargo hold of the van. Also, she kept telling us that they are a neighborhood location and they don’t carry many trucks/vans. We didn’t even ask to be referred to another location, but she was trying to send us elsewhere when we asked if a couch set would fit in the van. (Which it did without any problem) And the registration process took some time because the license wouldn’t update quickly. She also didn’t know the estimate vs the actual charge by mile. And based on her knowledge she should have advised us to underestimate the miles we would need to drive but we had to pry that information out of her. I’m the end it didn’t matter that we over/underestimate since the system only charged us for the miles we drove. The agent really didn’t show a good customer service. She never smiled, I might guess that she was having a bad day. But after interacting with her, I think it’s just her personality. Nothing wrong with the van we rented. It was not washed for days, it looked like. The exterior was pretty dusty. But the van did what we needed.
Jehee BLauren at Towne Storage is FANTASTIC. She has helped me numerous times over the last few months as we made our move from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. I would NOT go anywhere else to rent a truck other than through her and this facility!
