Drop-off location very small parking lot area packed with cars, essentially impossible to drop off a 15 foot truck with attached trailer without blocking things.

This is a used parking lot. There were no other U-haul vehicles indicating it was the correct spot. It was very small and narrow.

Bill after bringing vehicle back was twice as what was expected. I didn't put in return time but system did so charged for another day. Not dealers fault but is a hassle getting straightened out. Bill still showing pending at bank with no corection showing.

Confusion on original phone order. Ordered 10 ft truck, and later it confirmed that they had a 17 ft truck...only one available. We took truck...cost more for fuel and we did not need the extra space. Any rebate from UHaul? 8 miles/gallon on 17ft truck...vs. 12 miles/10 ft. truck...more than 10 gallons at $ 3.23/gallon. $ 32 difference which I absorbed because of UHaul's mistake. Is this something which can be corrected?

This was the worst experience ever.... A 2 hr and 45 min trip to Norton VA took me nearly 4hrs due the driver side front tire and this vehicle is really unsafe. It shakes and rattles and pulls right and left. Went over in mileage which the Shell location was nice enough to work wit me.

My biggest complaint was that my U-Haul pick-up was shifted to this location from Huntington. This was a major inconvenience to us. The truck should have been take over from Ashland to Huntington for us. Also when I reserve a truck two weeks in advance I should not get a gas guzzling truck bigger than I requested. It pretty much made the savings I got for dropping off the truck in Newark null and void.

Location easy to find, but the cashier at the gas station had to stop checking people out and walk over to another desk to help us with the U-Haul, while the other customers waited in line. This location wasn't the biggest problem, it was U-Haul in general. They didn't have the right sized truck we ordered even though we ordered it 3 weeks in advance. They upgraded us to a bigger truck, which was nice, but was almost impossible to get up to our house (which is why we didn't order that size in the first place). Also, the air conditioning was broken and the power steering didn't work while the truck was idle.

Appears that the same person was cooking, waiting tables, and running the U-haul desk while the manager on duty just stood in his cashier's cubicle.

CSR was friendly and helpful. Counter was in the middle of a covienience store which was rather busy. Asked for dollies and hand cart, did not get. Truck was dirty in the cab and the box. Cigarette ashes all over the cab.

we were told at the pick up location that we could drop off in Lexington with no issues and then continue to our destination. when we arrived at the Lexington drop off point, we had to pay $75 to drop off there. we called the pick up location, he said that was wrong and would call corporate and asked for the phone number we were at. next thing you know, the phone rings, the owner looks at us and days f@$& you. what are you gonna do about it?

When I went to pick-up my reserved truck, the lady that was assigned to the counter is also a cook in the diner that's inside this gas station where my reservation was made. Since she was in the middle of completing a food order, I stood at the counter for 15 minutes waiting for her to finish cooking. If they cannot have a dedicated employee to handle the UHAUL reservations/rentals, they shouldn't offer this service.

the gentleman at the dropoff location did not speak english well and the business was cluttered and unclean he did not seem to understand the contract at all

The Ashland location was acceptable, it is a gas station that has a counter in the corner to use for it's U Haul business. It is Ok for a drop off location, but I would not use it to rent as my point of orgin.

Counter person informed me she was on drugs all night and didn't want to work. Then did not check my equipment and just had me attach the trailer. The trailer had malfunctioning lights and I was not aware till I was informed by a police officer in the middle of my trip! This person should be fired and should be reimbursed for the ticket... $92

Have someone available at the customer service desk. The woman working had to staff both the gas station register as well as the U-Haul counter. It took almost an hour to pick up the U-Haul, and everything seemed haphazard - as if they weren't prepared for customers.

We reserved a 20' truck. We were given a 14' truck. The clerk kept trying to convince us it was a 20' truck. Once we all agreed it was not a 20' truck I was told "this is all we have". Basically, it does no good to "RESERVE" a truck. You will get what they have.

There was one lady working both the convenience store and the uhaul "booth" at this location. She had a line of customers wanting to pay for their gas and cigarettes while I was trying to pay for my trailer. She was unable to hook the trailer up, which to me, sounds unsafe. Uhaul should have their people ensure that equipment is properly connected to avoid accidents and misuse.

Taj, was very helpful. he offered to help me with the trailer right away. something the pickup location didnt do. I was in and out of there in five minutes. highly recommended

you recommended moving personnel didn't show up, lied to me on the phone, and is obviously not a real business as the man answered "hi this is Brad" instead of Precision Movers. It cost me loads of time and money due to their no showing up. U Haul should more carefully screen there movers. I'm going to RYDER with my next bit of business.

Have staff that is alot more enthused about working there and be a little more helpful in hooking up equipment other than just saying here is your trailer and then leaving you to lift trailer onto hitch and ck lights. Not a very good impression of Uhaul.

We went to pick up the truck and dolly, get there the guy no clue what he was doing kept asking if we had a truck for the dolly we kept him we rented the from you all he then I have no truck you have to goto to ironton Ohio to get it and come get the dolly from us, so now I have to pay mileage to get the truck come to Ashland to get the dolly which now has put me behind and late for work, so now I'm mad I got to pay for extra mileage that's not my fault because I'm told the truck and dolly are both in Ashland and that wasn't the case, so in this case it takes 1 person to tell 10 people about the crap I was put in and the extra money I have to pay out for your all mistake

Representative wanted me to park the auto trailer then the truck in a very tight spot. After a while another employee came out and said he would park them. They should understand the difficulties of backing parking a 26' truck and auto trailer without being a professional truck driver.

This person had an attitude. The gas tank was back to 3/4 full, he insisted that it be more. Also the receipt machine did not work and the person did not explain what to do very well. This could use some extra training. Thanks and God Bless!

The move with U Haul was awful We were told to pick up in Shelbyville on Summit and did not have a truck We had to drive to Crestwood and the gas was marked different than what was in the tank The Crestwood and SUmmit locations were arguing between themselves Summit hates dealing with U Haul Summit put the blame on Crestwood Crestwood put the blame on Summit We were very frustrated with the entire experience We will never move with U Haul again The realtor recommended U Haul and I spoke with her today and she will not reccomen U Haul again I was going to change that day to Penske but we still had to drive to Crestview to pick up a truck there as well and the pricing was higher than U Haul but next move I will pay the difference because this move was a mess Temps in the 90's and the confusion was terrible

The employee was very nice but could not speak much English. I had to talk to the Uhaul company via phone and perform my own transaction. The tech on the phone walked me through each screen on the computer. I had to go behind the desk and perform entire sale on the computer. I did not mind helping out but they could have at least given some type of discount. So, in other words, I made the sale for Uhaul. Craziness!

Have the order correct. They did not have our 2 dozens pads or the dolly we had ordered. They gave us the six pads they had but that definitely was not enough. I would like to file a formal complaint to be compensated for the pads and dolly we did not receive. They told me I had to wait until the account was closed out and then file the complaint. Please give me any assistance you can with that respect. Thank you.

It took the girl 40 minutes to get me out of the store, She could not spell nor could she figure out the computer. The dolly had a tail light hanging completely out of it, to which she said that is how they got it back. I fixed it. The dolly operated with no problems what so ever.

The trucks were not maintained properly. The gas gauge was broken. The truck made terrible noises while driving. This UHaul took my money and refused to refund the portion due me even though the gas gauge was broken. TERRIBLE customer service! Would NOT recommend this particular UHaul. Save yourself the time, money, and stress and go elsewhere!

The vehicle was in very poor condition, it would not start for 2 to 3 hours ,the gate was rusted, broken and became jammed several times. My wife and I were stranded for 3 hours until it decided to start. I reported these issues to the manager of the facility and he said there was nothing he could do to compensate me for the trouble I experienced. I would never recommend U-haul to anyone, because of the poor services I received.
