Never received lockbox code or directions to return key. Mobile app did not provide guidance. Called customer service to no avail, they merely advised I should have gotten a code. Lockbox did not have slot to drop key. Returned key through mail slot of host business.

Pickup was very easy, the shop owner was pleasant and accommodating! I didn't mind at all, but the van was sort of dirty on the inside, and the brakes were very loud and sounded like they needed to be serviced. Overall though my experience was great and I would recommend this location to anyone. Thanks!

Clearer instructions as to where the key pickup box is. The instructions in self-pickup said the keys would be in the back of the truck but I had to walk around the perimeter of the building to find the lockbox.

The trailer was supposed to be at the Middletown location. When I went to pick it up, they told me I had to go to the Neptune location. The person at the Neptune location said his computer was down and that he could not give me a receipt. The next day, after I had in my possession the trailer from Neptune, I was told that my trailer was ready in Middletown. Later that day someone from U-Haul called me to get my information because the person from Neptune never sent it from his computer. While speaking with this person, and after giving her all of my personal information, including credit card number, I was told that I would have to give her the information again so she could write it down because her computer was down. This is the second time I have had major issues with U-Haul, so needless to say, I will never rent from U-Haul again nor will I ever recommend it to anyone else.

I dropped the truck off here the same day that I picked it up at the other location and it was not checked in with U-Haul for an additional three days and at first I was charged almost $186 extra for time I did not use. But Uhaul fixed everything for me if you want your truck checked in on time I wouldn't recommend bringing it here

this location was 24 drop off but the on-line experience for turning in the truck was flawed. The system put you in a loop, delivering a code via text then putting you back to the first page once it was entered. This was very frustrating because there is no one to ask and (not the fault of the drop off location) and we're not sure what to do, just drop the key in the slot and go. The drop off location should have a small sign instructing where to park the uhauls.

Van needed a good cleaning throughout, but mostly in the passenger section. However, James at the Troppoli Auto Service Center was totally committed to helping us in every way--he gets a 5 rating- and the van drove safely.

I was not given any information regarding one-way vs In town rentals and was encouraged to return the truck to the original location. The U-Haul website is terrible in that it does not describe or offer a choice for one-way vs In town rentals. There seems to be only 1 option available, not that there is any indication that there are any options to to begin with.

The auto shop was not open on the day I returned the vehicle but despite leaving the keys in the box and confirming with UHaul that the vehicle was dropped, Troppoli Auto charged be an additional $40 for an extra day. I will not be using this service again for the huge inconvenience.

The truck stalled out in the middle of our move and luckily we had a car to jump it. When I returned it the attendant said o that one has been giving us trouble. They should maintain their vehicles better

Paperwork was ridiculously slow. I reserved the trailer at a UHaul location 2 miles from home, but then has to go to this location to get it. Totally unsatisfactory. UHaul should have had that trailer at the location where I had reserved it, for pickup.

I dropped off my vehicle, and asked if I would get a receipt to close out my contract. The gentleman said he only looks at the returned vehicles in the afternoon, and I would get an email from the pickup location (which I did). I phoned Fred in East Brunswick to let him know. He told me this was fine.
