The lights didn't work on trailer rented. After hooking up and starting to leave. Had to switch and get another trailer, witch was bigger and heavier. Didn't want that one cause transmission on old truck drive weak. And was stopped on way back with load on by OPP cause on back of truck what was caring to officer wasnt secure enough. Also the officer mentioned about uhaul trailer tires were pretty wore out. Pointing out one on left hand side almost bald. Told me to tell dealer rented from. I was in a rush when brought back so didn't get to share with uhaul dealership.Rebecca P.

This is a comment for U-Haul and not this particular dealer. I was NOT impressed when my pick up location was changed - I was not advised and was not even aware that this happened. It caused a significant delay to my live plans AND I ended up over the allowed mileage which resulted in an additional charge!!! Not impressed at all.Glenda T.
Your support of rural dealers is horrific! I can't tell you how many times I reserve a vehicle from my local place only to get an email and call from another rep telling me that my reservation was cancelled but rebooked at another location 45 minutes away. FIGURE OUT YOUR DEALER RELATIONS BECAUSE YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE STUCK IN THE MIDDLE.David D.
I reserved a trailer for 7:30pm and arrived to find the location closed! Spent 40 mins on the phone and spoke to 3 different agents before one was helpful enough to help me make this reservation for 7am the next morning. The problem was I need to be loaded up and gone by 6:30am. All of this made me 1.5 hrs late for my appointment which is unacceptable. Was offered a $50 compensation sent to a different automated systems which after waiting for 10 more mins nobody picked up, no acknowledgement of being on hold, just blank empty phone line, so I hung up. Tail light not working, extremely low tire pressure and lock for hitch ball was seized and wouldn't turn more than half way. The guys working there are not only responsible for u haul but also pump gas and fill propane. To much to handle for a single employee!!Ryan R.

Reservation was not correct when picking up trailer despite uhaul website confirming details and online preregistration completed. Charged for larger trailer (picked up 5x8 cargo trailer as per order but charged 6x8). Tried to talk to owner and confirming what we were charged but he he also runs a gas bar from the same location and was told after a brief conversation "I have to go I have 3 cars waiting for gas".Mike L.

I was charged twice and a total of $165 dollars was taken out of my account! I returned it early and didn't get the dollys I booked and was still charged almost $200! I have never paid this much for a uhaul and am VERY pissed off with the service I received. I want my money back and will be calling head office. This is a fucking joke. The cab was dirty and dusty - it hadn't been wiped down - there was a surgical glove lying on the floor of the drivers side, pretty disgusting actually... I got two bags of blankets, one was ok, the other was wet inside and smelled terrible, but had not choice but to use them... the mildew smell caused my throat to swell up a bit - I will never go back to this location. I complained to the owner/operator, all he did was give me $5 out of the till. No covid precautions were take in any respect, even though I was wearing a mask - no attempt was made to reciprocate. I don't think he had a mask on the premise at all.James D.
The issue is I never should have used this location. I had booked a trailer at a location near me about 3 weeks before!! I called on Thursday, July 30th to confirm that my trailer would be ready for pick-up on Saturday, August 1st at 8:00am...as per my reservation. The gentleman told me that there will not be a trailer available until Sunday, August 2nd. What happened to my reservation??? And I'm glad I called to confirm or else I would have been scrambling to find another trailer!!! This was a terrible customer experience!!! Thankfully after waiting on hold for 45 minutes I was able to speak to someone who transferred me to someone else who has able to secure a trailer for me at this location!!! This location was a 40 minute drive away as opposed to the 10 minute drive I should have had at the first location!!!JRROLLY R.
Staff is often too busy pumping gas to serve U-Haul customers properly. Computer is in an outdoor shelter with extremely high level of ambient light, making it almost impossible to read the screen. I suggest moving the U-Haul to the indoor customer service desk which is not as busy as the gas bar and has better working conditions for the staff to see what they are doing.David B.
