I think that your trucks should be inspected a little more then they do. The truck was clean but it was running bad and it appeared to have a little antifreeze smell. It runs lime need a tune up. Gas is already high enough and to have a bad running vehicle only runs you up moreWilliam F.

This is not the location that I had issues with. This entire trip was one big bad nightmare. Uhaul was THE WORST to work with. I had reserved my truck and car dolly two weeks prior to my pick up date. I spoke with Uhaul the morning of my pick up confirming time and location. When I showed up, there was no equipment and no employees. The doors were locked. I called Uhaul customer service and they transferred me to Mobile Services. Mobile Services couldn't help because there was no equipment at the location. So they transferred me to Scheduling. At this point, we had already wasted over 3 hours. They find me a truck. NOT the size I reserved. A bigger one. When I go to check it out, they want to charge me the bigger price. NO WAY was I going to do that. Then, there wasn't a car dolly at that location. Uhaul tried to send me 1.5 hours south of where we were and where we needed to be and then had the nerve to say they had no "policies in place to cover the cost of fuel". That location didn't work. Then they told me there was NO car dolly available whatsoever until morning. At this point, we had been dealing with the most disrespectful and moronically unhelpful Uhaul employees for over 6 hours. By the time we got the truck rented (and I didn't even give you all the details from them trying to give my truck to someone else to a fight breaking out in the location and getting assaulted) we had spent 7 total hours with Uhaul and then had to get a hotel for the night. Which, again, is not a Uhaul issue, therefore not a covered Uhaul cost allotment. Then the next morning, we GPS where to get the car dolly and they had it set up for over 3 hours away. I, again, had to call Uhaul customer service to get it figured out. An hour later, we have a car dolly. It was by the saving grace of the man at the storage unit that I didn't end up going ballistic on everyone. This was LITERALLY the WORST experience, ever. I will NEVER rent from Uhaul again. Ever. They do not care about their customers, their "reservation guarantee" is a complete joke, and the majority of their customer service agents (the ones that "helped" me anyway) were trash. Save yourself the trouble and money and go somewhere else.Jensina S.
Bad experience for the first time ever. My move from Florida to NC was way better than this move from NC to VA. Truck was reserved well in advance but because your website did not work to unlock the code it caused all sorts of issues and left us arguing with who ever was in charge of the rental. Then you had the nerve to put me and my husband on alert and told us we could not rent from you guys temporality. I was not able to rent the car dolly at all and that is just wrong to leave people hanging especially when moving.You all also got the paper work wrong even though you were given the information numerous times. Then get to final drop off and you charge me an extra day! I could keep going but what good would it do. I will never, never rent from you guys again. You ruined it!!!!Angel H.

UHaul as a whole was miserable. Canceled our originally order two days before and did not assist in rebooking whatsoever. Was on hold with customer service for well over two hours. Finally got lucky and then booked this UHaul which is 90 miles away from the original UHaul so not convenient at all.ZACH D.

Jessica absolutely made the entire reservation process a very positive one. I found the U-Haul online system cumbersome but once I started working with Jessica she made me feel comfortable with the decision to use U-Haul.CARROLLEUGENE W.
The fuel guage wasn't at half a tank, when I picked up the truck. I returned it at the same fuel level, as when I picked it up, and was charged for fuel, after I returned the truck. Man renting the truck didn't care about my concerns. He said, " it wasn't his fault" , and just repeatedly told me " to call U-haul.LISA L.

U-Haul could really use a map to determine distance from one zip code to another for drop off. Don't really appreciate being sent 21 miles out of my way (one way) to pick up trailer as it was not where computer said it would be and then to be assigned drop off 26 miles from used location. Drove past 3 locations on way to drop trailer. Since I was then 30 mins late got charged with another full day. Sorry I hurried, should have just taken My time as I was being charged anyways. The 3 locations were said to â€œnot have roomâ€. I don't buy it but whatever...mike E.

I think that because of Covid-19 this location may have been understaffed. The customer service rep was also the person who cleaned the truck and she looked haggard running back and forth to process me to rent the truck and to clean the truck. She had on her mask and did the proper social distancing, but she was doing it all! My suggestion is if you can have additional workers with specific duties assigned, such as one cleaning vehicles and one processing customers, my experience would likely have been better. The exterior of the truck was covered in splattered bugs that the customer service rep was not able to remove before I arrived to pickup the vehicle.armenta Y.
The check in and check out takes about half hour due to their internet service is terrible. She had to take several pics of the drivers license with her phone because she said the uhaul requires her to upload it from her phone.crystal C.
New dealer that needs training for staff. Will I use it again. Probably in a few months. The unit was not washed or vacumed It took one hour to get checked in. They said I had the unit for 24 hours. You said 21. I didn't know who to believe. It was back on the lot at 5:00 pm on Saturday. Rental time 7 hoursRichard H.

Staff had no idea what they were doing ... not her fault but very Insufficient training. The only thing she could've done different was at least try to act like she knew what she was doing instead of telling everybody that she has no idea what she's doing . Also poor website clarification ...you have to pick a time and I did but it still makes it look like it's 24 hours to keep it just like every U-Haul on the entire planet but man I can only keep for six hours so they double charged me what in the crap?!Tammy M.
