Make sure customer understands the full hand gas gauge and that some trucks are nor very gas efficient. 4 miles to a gallon in our case still felt like on final fill up truck was not full as told by rep from beginning is why only traveling 31 miles led to low mileage experience

Parked the trailer unhooked and did a video walk around including the inside to protect myself. No customer service on this end

karen A.When we picked up 20' truck it was not cleaned out. We had to clean inside before using. Also the 20' box truck should not be advertised a 20' truck. The “box†part is only 16' 8†and that makes a huge difference when you are planning on 20' of space. So we ended up having to rent another U-Haul trailer to fit the rest of our belongings.

Terry B.I reserved a truck to be ready for pick up through your app. Halfway there I received a call from your traffic Depot telling need the truck was not ready and they couldn't get a hold of anyone. 30 mins later I got a call that someone would meet me. When the guy finally showed up, I got no apology, no good morning, no nothing realty. When I asked why there truck want ready all I got was excuses... But I'm starting to find this pretty typical of the entire U-Haul experience. I first reserved a larger truck at a location nearby. A day later I got a call that they didn't have that size truck but I could pick one up 40 mins away?!?! WTF?? The website let me reserve it but then it's not there. So I had to do my entire move with a smaller truck. I know next time it won't be a uhaul move - never again!

Brent B.I had my pickup time set for 2pm and had paid in advance. My reservation was until the following day at 2pm. I was delayed getting to the location by only 30 minutes (arrived at 2:30pm for my 2pm pickup time) and began the mobile check-in process. To my surprise my reservation had been cancelled. I went inside the “office†and spoke with the woman there, who was in the process of renting my truck to someone who had just walked in. She said that as I had been 30 minutes late, they weren't sure if I was coming and decided to cancel my reservation. I asked her if they have a system in place to call people who may or may not be picking up a reserved truck to check and see if the renter is coming. She said no they don't. She then cancelled the walk-in's rental and told him to come back the following day, and began re-inputting my information. We were delayed another half hour waiting for her to figure out how to un-cancel my reservation and put all of my information back in. This was incredibly frustrating as I had reserved the truck already and put in all the required information online. The only reason we had to wait around is because they decided to cancel my reservation WITHOUT asking me if I was coming. I understand that if I weren't coming and they had an opportunity to rent the truck to someone else, it is a smart decision to rent it out. But at the very least we should have gotten a call to ask if we were still planning to come. I could have told her we were on the way and then she wouldn't have wasted my time nor the other man's time. Let's not forget I was only 30 minutes behind schedule and had paid in advance to reserve the truck for a full 24 hours. We got there just in time to make sure we still got the truck, but if we had hit traffic and been 15 minutes later, my truck wouldn't have been there and she said she wasn't able to find another one for the man who walked in. There wasn't another available truck nearby. So I guess I just wouldn't have had a truck…? I don't live in town so I would have had to drive back in another day just to make up for them cancelling a reservation that I had already made and paid for. These are the situations that make people distrustful of truck rental agencies. I'm very glad I was able to get the truck after all but it was a very uncomfortable and concerning experience.

After a stressful move found out previous uHaul locked in our delivery location so we would have to drop off at their location after I told them twice I wasn't dropping it off where I picked it up. Ashlee at Truck and Trailer was excellent and called them and took care of it for me. Went well beyond customer service expectations. Loved location, easy to get to and looked like an actual rental place! Will be using Truck and Trailer and recommending to everyone I know!
