The process was great and the gentleman who helped me made sure everything was securely connected and my lights were properly functioning before I ever left the parking lot.

Doug and Denise at Truck and Auto Repair in Farmville were Awesome. They walked me through the process like I was a new customer, even though I have rented many times from U-Haul. Will continue to do business with them. I will pay the mileage going forward to have them through the entire process, from pickup to drop-off. Would be light-years better than the BS I am dealing with from U-Haul in Raleigh.

My community needed to move and place 4 tractors of furniture over a 4 week time frame and I was stressed! Ms. D was a jewel and saved the day! I highly recommend!

Doug BThe U-Haul website is hard to navigate. I received a text to pick up my truck at one place in Snow Hill, when the truck was actually in Farmville. A more accurate and clear understanding would be better. The people in Snow Hill and Farmville were very helpful though.

SHELLY FUhaul is incredibly unscrupulous, money hungry and fraudulent. Do yourself a favor and do not use the company. The location manager was a community local and I trusted him. 30 days later Uhaul removed almost 200 dollars more on a completely paid uncomplicated contract. In spite of an absolute refusal to take insurance after the vehicle was returned in perfect condition. If there had been a problem I am sure we would have paid full price for damage, as is expected when you don't take their insurance. I cannot stress enough how much trouble we now have just for the privilege of working with a local community member. DO Not be confused, you are Not contributing to your community, only Uhaul family business extortion. Worst experience ever!
AMY JI had a lot of problems getting this rental van. I received the confirmation for the pick up but when I got to the location I clicked on the link but the option "pick up my truck" didn't show up. I called the U-Haul number for help and got a recording that it would take 45 - 50 minutes to speak with someone. I called the Truck and Auto number, which was closed on Sundays, and someone answered. If it wasn't for that gentleman, I don't know how delayed my 1 way trip would have been!

MICHAEL RThe location where we picked up our UHaul truck actually worked out the problem another way... but due to the lack of cellular tower coverage and the absence of free wifi it became impossible to submit the front and back of my license. I had my drivers license with me but they needed it done online and it was impossible without internet. BIG DELAY when there are no cell towers nor wifi to get it done online. Drop the online scan and speed up this process... Very inconvenient and causes scheduling problems with movers.

shanessa tI rented a uhaul for a day but however I was charged $699 I had to wait the whole weekend and now I have to wait 3-5 business days just for them to return my money during a pandemic and I'm not even working and have Bill's and have to wait for them to return me my money
