Very sketchy location to have uhaul pick-up/drop-off, as it is located outside of a bar? Will NEVER pick up from this location again. Truck was on E when I picked it up and there was trash on the floor of the truck.

Incredibly convenient due to its proximity to our home, but this is a neighborhood location. Do not expect much in terms of facilities. The folks there were very helpful and made the drop-off process quite effortless and easy.

No one was at the office in the morning, the cell signal is terrible there very difficult to use the app to check in, the truck was filthy with blankets and glass in the back. it took us 45 minutes to check in and we had to give up trying to check out using the app all in all a very frustrating experience.

He had an attitude and thought someone was trying to take his truck because I had reserved paid and did everything online. Did the self checkout something that he doesn't even know about! In the business world educate yourself as time goes on things changes and evolves! And learn how to approach someone and learn that on the app there's an "mobile pickup" where you DONT HAVE TO TALK TO NOBODY AND GET IN THE TRUCK ON YOUR OWN!!! And then there's the counter pickup where you do come in and talk to someone at the front counter!!!!

Took 4 days for them to invoice me after drop off. I delivered within the timeframe, and they still tried to hit me with a late bill. Had to call u haul customer service 5 times. I suggest that you reconsider this partnership as this company does not offer a great representation of your brand.

The rental didn’t start out so well simply because I rented a van for 8 AM only to find out they don’t open until 9 AM. The van was mostly clean, except for the cupholders which were full of cigarette butts. Staff was friendly service was good. The truck worked out for us just fine.

My uhaul pick up was at 8am, called the location as it seemed to be closed. A woman picked up the phone and proceeded to yell at me. I said “hello! I had a uhaul pick up for 8am today, I was wondering if you guys were open?” She said “WE ARE NOT UHAUL!! We ONLY hold their TRUCKS! WEEEE open at NINE!!” I said “oh okay…. Would I be able to pick up my uhaul at nine then?” She misunderstood me and said “I don’t know how else to explain it to you, WE OPEN AT NINE” I said “yes I understand that, would I be able to pick up my uhaul at 9 instead of 8” She again misunderstood me and said the same thing. She was horrible. This location is horrible, dirty and it seems unsafe. It would be better if uhaul didn’t work with them.

Please close out the rental on a timely basis to avoid a system generated email, the following morning, that informs the renter that the equipment was not returned. A subsequent email, within a 45 minute time period, finally sent a link to view the closed out transaction, but not before causing anxiety for the renter; life is stimulating enough. Otherwise, great experience.

Uhaul Employees should explain the responsibility and Cost of U haul Rental to the customer more clearly and Complete. If cystomer asks are there additional costs you should tell them to expect that which was not discussed. Charged $127.00 more than explained.

The truck I rented was disgusting. There was a pair of pants in the bed of the truck, dirt and crumbs everywhere, the inside of the truck smelled foul and it was horrible. Luckily, I was only using the truck for an hour but definitely will not be coming back again.

The location itself did not feel safe. The location is a junkyard with men hanging around talking and mingling everywhere. As a woman, I did not feel safe. Also, the process to pick up the truck was horrible. The process needs to be explained more clearly prior to picking the truck up such as through a video similar to what the drop off process offers. Finally, it would be nice if the whole approval process could be taken care prior to picking the truck up. It took approximately 15 minutes for the approval to go through and that was only after I initiated a chat.

In fact, this experience has me second guessing renting a UHaul again, or at least doing the extra time Google-earth searching to see if I even feel comfortable with this spot. I don’t have time to list everything, but here are a couple of bullet points: hours say open at 10, but front door had a door with bars on it padlocked. Looked inside a side window, all that was in the bare, vacant white-walled space was a couch with some dude asleep (did someone padlock him in? Did he get in from the back? Regardless, he was shirtless and fast asleep, so don’t think he’d just dozed off but was otherwise ready to service customers. Even if he was—oh yeah, the padlocked front entrance). This office says ‘Lucky’ on the door, not ‘Trust’ (the name UHaul indicated on the reservation), a tiny one-room office attached to the Parrot’s bar building. The fenced area behind the gate with UHauls was locked (with the foreboding ‘beware of dog’ sign), no one available to help unhitch/lift the trailer. After actually documenting for you what I saw (nvm the incredulity we shared with another customer there at the same time trying to pick up a truck), I wonder when the last time you all actually visited this place, unannounced. As I finish this (did I say st the beginning I don’t have time to list everything? Guess I got on a roll), I see the notice at the bottom ‘Your comments will be posted for public viewing.’ I don’t usually like to be negative in public, but honestly, even with so many other (quite satisfactory) UHaul rental experiences in the past, this one still gives me pause to do so again. Please help this location clean up their act, or graciously part ways, bc this one experience has painted over so much previous goodwill I had toward UHaul. Given our brief interaction with the other customers there to pick up their truck, I’m at least speaking for 2 folks from one day. We can’t be the only ones.

I'm a senior and it was not an easy area to drop off a trailer. It was not level area and there were no easy places to drop the trailer. While this location is very convenient and would be a easy place to pickup equipment, it was not easy for afterhours drop off without assistance..

Make sure the customer receives the video with instructions after they have made a reservation to make things easier. Also send them information on extending the reservation and hourly rates.

It charged me an extra 88$ for no reason I tracked on my car how far we drove in it and it was 7 miles. I have a feeling the odometer wasn’t reported correctly and it over charged us. The customer service was nice but the truck was filthy and covered in this sticky sap like substance.

The cab was dirty, the windshield wipers were horrible, it was very difficult to keep the truck in the lanes when driving, it shook, the steering wheel was loose so you constantly had to correct the truck and it was very difficult to control. The defrost was a joke and the entire cab stunk.

There was no mention of a after hours fee during the reservation process. As soon as i drove away after picking up the trailer i got a email saying theres a after hours return fee. This is a unacceptable business practice.If this 21.45 isnt refunded to me i will never rent anything from uhaul again.

The truck was so dirty. And they were no clear instructions on how to get the key out the box. The man that was letting me rent the truck was actually pretty snobby and rude to me because he wasn’t there in person and I was trying to figure out how to check in myself online and I didn’t know how because I had never done it that way before. He was just very impatient and I will not be renting from that location again.

This was the worst rental experience I ever had. The new “no contact” service is horrible and confusing. I was sent to a different location after being told the location in Huntersville, NC had a pick up truck rental (they did not). After arriving at the next Uhaul rental center, I found out there’s is no office or employee to assist me. This uhaul center was located at a towing center. A worker at the towing center told me I had to log into uHaul to reserve the truck. This was after I had already made a reservation at the previous location for 12:00pm. I was able to speak with someone after finally accessing the site (network connection was poor here) but every time I tried to approve the process with my photos, the website would hang up. After several tries I was FINALLY able to access the key for the truck. I did not know anything about the return process. I rented the truck for 6 hours. I had returned it before that time,filled up the gas tank. locked it up and returned the keys to the lockbox. I thought that was all I had to do. No message was sent telling me I had to take pictures (afterward) of the vehicle and sign in to finish the return. So I don’t know what kind of additional fee I will be charged. I hate this new rental system. I like face to face contact and speaking to people. This experience was so frustrating and confusing I will not use uHaul again. I don’t expect to get a return message. I know no one at uhaul will care.
