I was overcharged many times and the box took too much time (more than a month) to be delivered to my home without any explanation. Phone service is terrible since they left me waiting for long periods of time or hang up on me many times. Overall service is disappointing and would not recommend for future business.

My overall experience with this uhaul rental was great. I changed my request a couple times as we figured out what size trailer we needed and uhaul was easy to deal with and flexible. My only suggestion would be to improve lighting on the lot. The after hours return was also simple and convenient. Thanks!

The need to be have better customer service and be nicer, not making the customer feel like they are bothering them. Also I asked for a dolly to move my stuff which they forgot to provide. So when I told them about it they did take off the charge but did not give me any compensation for my troubles.

Be honest/fair to the customer about fuel refill policy. I refilled the fuel to the 5/8th level mark (by adding 3 gallons when it was at 1/2 mark) based on the instructions in the rental policy, but was still charged extra for not complying.

There were 2 teen agers working outside at the location when we returned the motorcycle trailer. I told them we are in a hurry as my friend who owned the truck was doing me a favor and needs to get to LA ASAP. I asked them if we can speed up the process. The young guy started measuring the Air pressure in the tires of the trailer. I told him: Can't you do this after you untie the trailer from the truck and after we leave, do you need to do this now ? Both were clueless and could care less that we are in a hurry. They asked to move the trailer to the spot then wanted it exactly parked in the space. I said you can simply push it, it is not that far and not that hard. The 2 of them simply didn't want to do any work. Where do you find these Morons. They are NOT well trained and don't know the first thing about customer service. In fact your whole organization seem to not care about customers. When I tried to book the trailer, your website didn't work so I sent a message...I clearly stated to contact me by email but had to provide a phone # if I wanted the email to go through. This idiot form Uhaul calls me at 7 AM waking me up. She said she called because I did not reply to the email right away. I asked for a price & she wanted my life story before she can give me a price, I was so fed up I hung up the phone. I called later, I get this Women with a Southern accent. She could not stop talking. I tried to ask her a question but it is like talking to a Robot....she kept saying: Which credit card would you like to use...as if she is programmed to say this over and over. I finally could not take her constant talking & asked for a Manager but did she put through to one....NO, of course not. She sent me to another Agent who needed all the info allover again. In all honesty I HATE Uhaul. The ONLY reason I used you because I had no other choice and needed to get my motorcycle home. I rented many moving trucks from you, I asked for a 20% discount which I've gotten before but it was refused over and over again. I think considering all you put me through, you should refund some of my money as compensation. $42 for a trailer is expensive anyway. I wanted to pick one in Lathrop which is cheaper, your website didn't work the night before and in the morning on the phone I was told there were none available at Lathrop, California location. Really, you need to train your staff better and get a website that works without all that fancy graphics that don't add anything, it just slows down the entire process. I could care less about seeing couples with smiling faces while moving on your website. I just want to know the price up front and be able to get things done fast NOT sit there while your website retrieve information then doesn't work & have to start allover again....Utterly useless.

Had hitch and wireing done, no running lights on trailers? Told customer service reps trailer wouldn't be returned until late Thursday 12-27-2018 I was told 3 day ok, but got billed for 4 days. Brother in law died of heart attack same morning, but hey, they got their money. And my hitch install still don't work.

All went well; courteous attendant. I've had several truck rentals from the Curtner location and have always experienced excellent service. I have recommended U-Haul to several friends.

I would not recommend this location. I ordered a truck two weeks in advance. U-Haul did not call me until the day before I was supposed to pick up the truck to tell me they did not have the size I wanted. (Which by the way, caused all kinds of problems for us!) The company said I could go to another location which was too far away for us to go. As far as I'm concerned, U-Haul should have gone and picked it up for us. I would not recommend this location or the people that work there!!

Equipment was as clean as could be expected however the equipment was old with rusted door latching mechanisms. I was provided the older looking equipment even though newer looking equipment seemed available on the lot.

As a frequent uhaul customer, I found this truck although newer in very unmaintained condition. Heavy smoke smell and very dirty exterior. Ran into a major rainstorm and the wiper blades were not in good condition with visibility issues. Overall I would only rent from uhaul as I am a loyal customer. Just some observations that may be helpful.

The truck I was assigned was old, dented, had 150,000 + miles on it. Much newer ones were available on the lot. Why are these old beat-up trucks still being used?

I get there before 10 when my appointment is supposed to be. There are already people waiting to get their vehicles. Some of whom had 9am appointments. FINALLY, after waiting half an hour, someone comes in and opens the door at 10:30!

I have been charged a $21.00 charge for fuel when I returned the vehicle with more fuel than when it went out. On Monday I called the location immediately once they where opened and I was told I need to speak with the manager whose name is David. I left my name and phone number and I’m still waiting for a returned phone call from David.

Make sure that customer understands no ramp on 10 foot van. Was expecting a ramp for a heavy piece.

Customer service was great, but we didn’t get the 20’ truck we reserved for one-way as the customer who had it before us, wasn’t able to return the truck within their reservation period. Maria was able to get us a 10’ truck for one-way and comped us with extra mileage and blankets to make up for the inconvenience. Fortunately this was our ‘pre-move’ on the day before we got professional the movers , so we were okay with the 10’ truck.

the gentleman who runs the the show front desk there, I think his name may be James Garcia (I could be wrong on that name) EVERY TIME I deal with him... he is so great. Friendly, professional, thorough, explains everything just right, helpful, knowledgeable. He also speaks kindly and with respect to his team. Great Experience!

It is a good location. But the young man that was supposed to help us would not even look at us and never looked up from his telephone except for when he pulled the trailer off of the truck. When we said thank you, he did not even acknowledge us.

By far the best experience I’ve had at a uhaul center! Staff was wonderful the young lady at the front desk went over everything so clearly it left us with no questions and they were so quick to help us get going !

The vehicle was pretty tidy inside, the outside was filthy, which made it quite difficult to discern Andy damage in the pre-use vehicle inspection I was required to do as they it required me to look for any little nick or scratch judging by the number of x stickers that were on the vehicle. Otherwise my mobile check in experience went very smoothly. I do however recommend that when someone is borrowing a vehicle for an slotted amount of time that the return time be adjusted from the time they are done checking in, rather than the time we start checking in. I calculated my time exactly 11:30- 4:30 I arrived 10 minutes early but was not done with check in requirements until just shy of noon, yet my return time was still listed as 430. It added some I ncessary pressure. Either that or recommend telling customers to show up early to check in. I did make it back in time, but felt that would make the service even better in the future. I returned the truck with ease, and was met at the return and had all my questions answered. All in all it was a great experience, the vehicle ran well, the app made things easy, and I would definitely recommend! Thank you.

i had reserved the auto transport for pick-up in san jose several days ahead of time and was approved for pick-up on 11/12. i left arizona at 4am on sunday 11/11 to travel to california. from that point forward, i was not able to retrieve emails. when i got to san jose to pick up my reserved auto transport i was told to go to a different location to get the auto transport. this same thing happened to me the last time i had reserved an auto transport. i am unfamiliar with the san jose area and had to find my way around to get to the uhaul yard 6miles away. it seems to me that uhaul uses their customers to relocate their equipment for them. this is very wrong for uhaul to do. when i had a similar experience a few months ago, i drove by the uhaul yard where i had originally reserved, and found there to be 3 auto transports sitting in the yard. so there should have been no reason for me to be turned away from that location just to retrieve equipment from a different location. if uhaul is unable to efficiently manage the rental equipment, they should not be using customers to act as "mules" to move the equipment for uhauls convenience. there seems to be a serious flaw in equipment management and blame for this huge inconvenience falls squarely on uhaul management shoulders. being given 'reasons' or 'excuses' why these things happen, such as i experienced, are just smoke-and-mirrors, and lies. i will be telling everyone i know of this bad experience and warning them to be very careful if using uhaul again. whenever possible, i will be using a different equipment rental service in the future. i am warning everyone i know that uhaul does this sort of thing.
