Your website for returning after hours needs improvement. I would get to the part when I needed to submit a photo as to where the tow dolly was left and it would crash. I called customer service to let them know it was at the location and where it was located around 2 a.m.. I called the store around 1120 to make sure that they saw the dolly and was told that someone will call me back, surprise no one has called me back. I did call the customer service department at 12 p.m. and they were able to get someone to tell them that the dolly was there when they opened (Thank you customer service!) I finally received my receipt for the dolly at 6:45pm in the evening. The location is convenient but if the dolly was missing I would have never known until it was too late since no one was able to take care of my phone call from the store.

For some reason I was booked to pick up at 2 different locations, which caused confusion and wasted time, because I had to call uhaul to clear it up and spent quite awhile on hold before I got any help. When I arrived the truck was not there. I had to go to another uhaul to pick up a truck, which again wasted over an hour, when I had to be somewhere 1st thing in the morning. The uhaul employee said there would be $50.00 refund since they didn't have the truck. Seems like it would be better to just credit the bill immediately, but instead I have to call customer service, wait on hold for a long time again, to make sure my $50.00 is being processed - which in fact had not been initiated until I called.

Great customer service and very helpful. Have gone here through a few moves. No problem. When I picked up the truck for this move there was only one person working. An employee quit the day prior so I understood why. The guy working was very professional despite the circumstances. The only problem was that he connected my car on the tow dolly. When I got to my destination (9 hours away), the chain underneath was too tight and I was not able to get my car off without assistance.

The morning I picked up the tow dolly I had reserved two days before on line there was one employee running the complete operation. He had to receive equipment being returned, take care of equipment going out , handle sales in the store and prep some equipment coming in and going right back out. He was doing the best job he could under busy conditions. MORE employees are needed and a back up system if a employee is no show. It took almost an hour to complete my rental which was already done in the computer. I should have been in and out in 15 minutes or less. Not happy with who ever is in charge .

This particular location was okay. The parking lot was a mess and extremely hard to maneuver. The biggest issue with my rental was the reservation process. The initial trailer that I wanted was unavailable, so I had to settle for a larger one. I chose to pick it up (via the website) at a location less than 5 minutes from my home. When I called to confirm my pickup the day before, I was informed that not only was THAT trailer now unavailable, and had to take an even bigger one, but that I had to drive to a different location, about 30 minutes from my home, which really messed up the tight schedule that we had. When I asked if I could at the very least (since I had already been inconvenienced several times) drop the trailer off at the location near my home, I was told no. My biggest recommendation would be to fix your online reservation system. When it says that something is available for reservation, stand by that reservation. Do not change it the day before to a different item at a different location. Not a good way to do business. This is, however, something that can be easily fixed. You just have to want to fix it.

Make the customer experience more convenient. This location has NO place for a customer to park his or her own vehicle if necessary when picking up a truck. I was told that I had to park my car across a busy street in a plaza parking lot. I have bad knees and did not appreciate having to walk that far to return to the store and get the truck. Never again at this location. As far as the truck goes, the cab passenger seat had mud on it as well as the dash where someone placed their muddy boots. It also had an awful greasy smell, as though whoever drove it ate a horribly greasy meal in it while driving. It stunk.

Waited for a while before someone attended me. Was initially given the wrong truck. Was not notified that the truck had a possible leak. Arrived at 7:01 and the employee closed the door (which is understandable, but he saw me pulling up.) Was told to do check out/turn in online, but the website was not working and tried over 20 times.

I waited in line for FORTY FIVE minutes! Then the young man tried to charge me for dropping the truck off late. I was there on time, but the line made it "late". Thankfully, he ended up not charge me.

They should clarify that the truck rental is no longer price "per day", but instead a flat rate for an allotted time they choose. I reserved a truck and picked it up at 9 am under the impression that the rental charge was for a day, up to 24 hours. I received a threatening message via voicemail at 3:30 pm stating that if I didn't have the vehicle back to the facility within an hour they were going to charge me an additional $50.00 late fee. We cut our entire move short to get the truck back in time and was told over and over that they could charge us the $50.00 if they wanted to, but they were doing us a favor by not doing so. Terrible customer experience and we will be reserving a Budget Truck next weekend to finish our move.

I tried to reserve online, but it said it was not available. Decided to call and they said yes. Its not a a lot of money, but I had to pay for 2 miles I did not use. The speedometer turned over from 2886 to 2887 the minute I pulled off the lot, and from 2911 to 2912 as I pulled back into the lot to return. So I had to pay for those 2 miles when I didn't use them. Just saying.

I scheduled my rental one month in advance. This was not the location I requested or promised by the customer rep on the phone. The afternoon before I was to pick up my rental, I receive a txt telling me my location change. When I called about it, the person basically said, “oh well, this is all we have if u want to rent it”. When I picked up my rental, the info in your system was all wrong and the agent at the store had to update everything correctly. I believe Uhaul knowingly misleads customers with promises they know they will not keep. I believe Uhaul is so intent on not loosing a rental, they use tactics that force customers to comply with their changes, do all the leg-work, in order to save their plans. Uhaul sits back and collects the money. I know better now and Uhaul will not be my first choice again. Nor will I recommend them on any social media sites or personal conversations.

Horrible no parking I had to park 1/4 mile away the worker told me no parking in their parking lot I had to park in dollar general as there where several spots available but they where reserved for the box trucks but other cars where parked there took a picture and same cars where there when I got I asked the employee he had both to say do not feel comfortable at all parking my car in another parking lot around the corner from where I got the truck from never ever go to that place again will drive farther man hole covers missing in parking lot Don’t forget to get hit by a car when you’re crossing the street a quarter-mile to park your personal vehicle place sucks very busy location traffic wise but they ask you to park in a supermarket parking lot across the street and down the street as there was a lot of Nother car sitting in the driveway in the parking spots maybe because I have a $40,000 car I have no idea very very very uncomfortable

Truck was worn out, handled very bad. Even the staff at the location joked with each other, saying I don’t know why they rent that truck out. Then said that the doors lock themselves and don’t leave the key in the ignition, and that you have to put the key in upside down for it to work.

I want a call from customer service. My reservation was rescheduled, then I had to wait an additional half hour because it still wasn't ready, the truck was dirty, the representative was extremely rude inside the store, so I called customer service and they placed me on hold for 82 minutes before they hung up, tried to speak to someone via online chat and they ended the conversation on me as well. I will NEVER use this horrible company again. I will be posting on all social media forums until someone with some professionalism responds.

We have used this 26' truck 2 different times within the has few weeks and it needs repair terribly. It drive all over the road, missing a shock and numerous other items. Should be replaced before someone gets hurt. Your customer service line is also very bad. waited 40 minutes for some to answer and they still could not help us.

I was billed for two rental days for a motorcycle trailer and I've seen waiting on hold for 45 minutes and no resolution as of today. This is a simple fix that had now wasted too much of my personal time. If this can't be resolved fully. I will never use or recommend uhaul again.

The truck was supposed to have slightly more than a half tank of gas when we picked it up. It had slightly less. The app you're supposed to use when you return a truck after hours didn't work and they tried to charge me for another day. Had to call to sort that out and got put on hold by one girl. U-boxes are smaller than anticipated, the dimensions are for the outside of the box, not the interior space. Service was fantastic and great communication!
