My equipment was well maintained, cos I moved everything my self, why say is $19 99 Wen my card was charged almost a 100 dollar + drove d van my self. So wat that payments for. Wen i could not get a driver from u.. and nobody ever told me I was gonna drive myself. D services was poor. I did even use dat van up to an hour..

The vehicle isn’t prepare to drive. They gave me 1 with a flat tire and the second one have the windshield frozen after I warm it up for 10 minutes it was the wrong one. They give me the wrong key. It took me 40 minutes to leave the place.

I had a major issue with the gas tank being empty upon rental of the truck. On top of that I had to drive an empty truck with 0 miles left until it stopped on me to find gas and pick up the moving blankets I paid for. To boot, when I returned the worker indicated that I needed to drive the moving blankets back to the location I picked up at. I politely told him "hell no, I'm the customer" apparently this location in Paterson needs customer service training. They forgot or haven't been trained that when they work for U-Haul they work for the customer's satisfaction. I am grateful that I was given a credit for the inconvenience.

No elevator had to carry everything up two flights of stairs, exhausting. Lighting is terrible. Too long to turn on while walking to unit. Tripped and fell on a 🛒 cart left in the dark in hallway.

was not happy when i moved in elevator was not working and storage room was on second floor the moving in and moving out process was terrible being that i had to move stuff up and down second floor

I picked a car transport trailer up at this location and did a inspection on the trailer the guy there didn’t know how to hook up a trailer and to not void warranty with touching the chains I told him what to do and he made me very uncomfortable with the way he put the chains on they weren’t on the right way. Then after inspection . I got home to realize that there was no license plate on it so I called U-Haul help and it took me a while to get through and get a temporary plate. When I went to drop the trailer off I asked for a assistance manger and he practically didn’t care about what I had to say about the license plate he was on face time the whole time and didn’t ask how they could improve next time.

Well, we arrived at the location early in the morning around 8am. There was one gentleman waiting inside for someone to come help him. He said he had been there for 5 mins but no one has come to help him. We ended up waiting another 10 mins until a worker came inside. It seemed like he had be sleeping somewhere else and woke up to 4 customers waiting in the lobby. Once he started helping everything went smoothly. My truck was first in line and ready for me to go. The truck smelled like cigarettes so I drove with the windows cracked. The heat only worked on full blast or nothing so that was fun. I ordered a 17’ truck with pads, hand truck, and furniture dolly. I got bumped up to a 20’ without my consent and no furniture dolly. Worker says don’t worry I’ll take it off so you don’t get charge for it. Shocker I got charge for it. I would only use this facility if I was desperate need.

Some smoked in my vehicle and left the ashes in the door holder. How was that not cleaned before re rented. Also you should have an unlomoted mileage fee. I rented a van for 5 hours and paid $90 plus dollars not sure if i will rent from u haul again. On a bright note the agent was very pleasant to deal with.

I would first like to say that your staff are very knowledgeable about things pertaining to your needs and if they don't know they make it their business to find out Secondly I want to give a personal shout out to staff member Rodolfo Vittini this young man is an excellent worker and he has always made my experiences with Uhaul a smooth transition and because of individuals like him he makes me want to continue doing business and also recommend others to do business as well.

The service was very slow. Only one person working when I picked up and dropped off. It took 40 minutes of waiting to just return the trailer.

The reason I rate this location so low is due to the customer service. I called the store to confirm my reservation and the young man named Stephan Queñones was very rude. He hung up the phone on me before answering all my questions. Then he told me the store closed @ 6pm when my reservation pick up was for 6:45pm on Saturday October 20th. He was not helpful at all and spoke with with no care to assist me on the phone. This young man made the experience at this store poor.

I personally do not think the service needs any improvement. The service is a 10 star service not 5. These guys know exactly how to help you they are fast, effectively and most importantly very informative. I came in complaining because I made reservations at a U-HAUL service on MONTGOMERY ST in PATERSON whom keep waiting for over 20min . I cancelled the reservation. I am so glad I did because the service from this U-HAUL place I would have never received. Thank you guys for An OUTSTANDING SERVICE see you Friday I am your steady customer. DEBRA

I was over charged for late fees which I was not late not at all! I was on the u haul premisesand the drop off time was at 7 am . I arrived at the u haul store to return the van at 650 in the am so I can have enough Time to clean the Interior and exterior of van.. I have a hard time dealing with this (the bill)

This is the worst Uhaul location I've ever dealt with. The worker named Amy had the worst customer service & she was very ghetto. She even charged me a $20 after hours fee when I rented the truck for 2 days and returned on time during hours of operation.

Upgrade your computer system took over an hour to pick up rental van that I reserved online. This has been an ongoing experience for the last year or so. Not ever using Uhaul again. Never. Bad experience every time. As big a company that are, invest in a better computer system. Current slow downs are totally unacceptable. Happens too often. I’m done with your company. Will use Home Depot, budget or others. Not Uhaul ever again.

I was told I was getting a mileage discount and upon arrival was told that was not true. Then the employee very unprofessionally took the picture of my license back and front, with his personal cell phone. That doesn’t really sit right with me. I was told that that is how they do it at U-Haul. So now this young kid has a picture of everyone’s license. On his phone he carries everyday.

It was a misunderstanding with the truck return location and I’m been charge a crazy amount Which I refuse to pay and them you go ahead try to charge my credit card in multiple occasions without my authorization. I tried to get this solve and never get the help.
