The truck I got to move had transmission problems it took me about and one hour to get from King of Prussia to glenside had to about 40 miles and hour on the highway would not shift the way it should. The van I rented had a defective lock on the cargo door. This was noted with a sticker but they rented it to me anyway. That said, I made an error on my booking and ended up returning the van late and this was not a problem, so overall I thought the service was good

When a customer leaves the uhaul with more gas in the tank then was originally provided upon initial receipt a compensation should be presented to that customer. The company states that a customer will be charged 4.40per gallon if under same or equivalent should be provided to a customer who leaves more in tank than it original.

I had asked about your propane refill service and the price and i was only told $4 something per gallon. I wasn't given any other information so i would not use you for propane refill. I would say to make sure your associates are versed on your other services so they can sell them too.

Reserving a van on the website was so frustrating. I never got the confirmation code. I was told that the first reservation had timed out so I made a second one. I then got confirmation of 2 reservations. I tried to log on to cancel the first one and I could not get back in. After about an hour, I finally was able to fix the problem.

This was not my preferred pick-up location but the notification was timely and the rental was fine. I had wanted to return the unit to the original location (Horsham) but they would not accept it. I was told at the time the location change was made that it would be able to return it there. This could have been handled better.

i asked for a small truck and they give me a van , then i asked them to change they gave me a big truck instead of the small one and charged extra of course, then they changed to a small truck, but, the next day they charged me for 2 days???? bad experience .......

Good morning, Prior to picking up the 15' Truck on Friday 10/13 I called and spoke to Alexandra Love at your 3040 Mount Carmel Ave Glenside PA location. I asked her about using a specific credit card when I picked up the rental and using another card to pay for the rental when I returned it. She advised that the initial card would have a "hold" in the estimated amount of the rental and would NOT be charged. When I returned the truck on 10/15 the card was charged in the amt. of $394.09 on 10/13 whne I picked up. A remaining balance was owed in $50.88 and was paid. I want to have the $394.09 refunded to the card that was only supped to be used to "hold" the vehicle and pay the amount with another credit card. When I picked up the truck and Alexandra went through the contract I asked her at least two times that the card would not be charged and she assured me it would not. Can you assist in crediting the card I was told by UHAUL employee that would not be charged and apply the charge to another card that I can provide, thanks! I gave my Credit card in advance, as I was renting the truck for my son and did not want him to pay. However, when he returned the truck they took his credit card and swiped it. I was worried we had been charged twice, but that was not the case. Other than that The service was excellent. The people there were very helpful. I would definitely recommend and use the facility again if needed.

There was some confusion initially with what size truck I ordered and where I was going to pick it up, but when i finally got to the Glenside location, they were ready for me (even at 7AM) and had everything that I needed so that I could get in and out quickly. The Glenside location provided great customer service.

I was very upset as I asked to pick up the vehicle in Feasterville, Pa. and the night before I was told I needed to go to Newtown, Pa. which was way too far, after an hour or so, they found a better location. This happened to me a couple of months ago. I am not so sure I would use U Haul again..

The confirmation on the website was a little tricky. I had ordered and was confirmed for Eurovan, but ended up with a regular van. Not a major issue (it was a college move), but I had used Eurovans before and was hoping to have the same experience. In any case the staff was wonderfully helpful - as usual! - and that is truly what I appreciate. Keep it up!!

I rented a van based on the web site information that it would hold furniture for a 1 bedroom/studio apt. All my furniture did not fit in the van.The van held a couch, bureau, full size bed box spring and mattress. I wasn't able to fit in a chair, small dining table, two dining chairs, night stand, tv and tv stand. I really needed the small truck.

The systems were not working properly, and the person at the pick up had difficulty managing the transaction. I had an issue with the phone reservation which was done previously to expedite the process at pick up. My reservation was some how crossed with someone else's reservation and I couldn't use the online check in or return w/o issue due to this cross of accounts. I was assured by the agent that everything was fine. However, I discovered differently upon drop-off.

When I stopped to refill the gas, I did not know where the tank was. I had a cargo van and the tank was within the frame of the driver side door. Not a real problem but as a courtesy to customers, just let them know where the gas tank is.

I went to this location to get wiring done for a trailer that had been contracted to me by a different location. They said that they could not wire my car to the trailer correctly and to go to this location. I went and was given attitude about an appointment that I had scheduled because the guy didn't want to do the wiring (it was Sunday so he mustn't usually wire on sundays) I explained that I had been at 3 uhaul locations since 11 AM (it was now 3). They finally did it after feeling sorry for me about my experience thus far. I left that uhaul location and to go to a different location to pick up my trailer. When the guy at the other location hooked it up, the wiring didn't even work. He had to play with the wires a bit more until it finally worked. Terrible experience. I will never use uhaul again in general after today.

Not sure if it's the location or policy but if I didn't use equipment and also brought the truck back before the time I said originally then I shouldn't be charged the same amount or more than my ex wife who drove 2 hours away and had the truck for two days . I will not be using uhaul ever again and will tell everyone i know about my experience . Penske and Budget will be getting an awful lot of business from my friends and family . Not to mention that I filled the truck way past where it was supposed to be ... go fuck yourselves , you fucking whores

I rented a van for two days. Picked it up on Sat. 29th of July. Returned it on Sunday, July 30th at 6:15pm One day earlier. I did not leave the van there on Sat/ night as I was not informed about your night drop off system and never unformed of the system to drop off. I returned the van on July 31 at 9:00 am. The sales person behind counter told me I would be charged for a full second day because I did not drop van off the night before. The sales clerk was bellicose and just plain rude. There was nothing he could do that its store policy and continued to repeat this script numerous times as i tried to point out to him that I did not know I could drop off night before. The charge was another 83.00 plus taxes and insurance for time I never used. I have used your services many times in the past, never had anyone speak to me in this manner, like I was a child and couldn't understand.. I am a 65 your old woman with college degrees. I called your customer service line to speak to a live person and was repeatably put on hold which I waited on an average of 22 minutes each when Life called and had to get on with it. I am an irate customer and will never use your facilities again. I want compensation for second day of non use. The fellows name was William who I spoke with. He evidently did not care about his job or otherwise he would taken care of this issue at the shop. I am looking eagerly for your response.If I get one. Marlene Verdecchio

make sure that you keep proper records. I was double charged for my rental and my contract had the wrong equipment number. I returned item within rental agreement time and received a call the next asking to return. this is not the first time this has happened to me at this location. I now want to go back and check ALL my rental contracts to make sure I was not over charged!

Only one employee was working at the end of the day on a Friday. Took about 15 minutes before the employee assisted us. Truck was in very good condition, rental went smoothly. Very impressed by this location and once I was assisted it only took about 4 minutes to complete the process.

My preferred pick up location was King of Prussia (KOP). U-Haul listed that location as open on Saturday. It was not. This created unnecessary stress when we went to pick up the truck and there was no one we could even talk to at the KOP location. Luckily the Glenside staff was great and very helpful.

I indicated that the equipment was not clean/well maintained due to the wiring harness needing replacement/repair. Left turn signal wiring was damaged and stopped working shortly after receipt of trailer. Was able to tape/patch to complete my round trip. I would recommend a more critical review of all systems.

Excellent overall experience and clean uhaul. Only issue is pAperwork said uhaul had almost a full tank not paying attention I drove away and realized tank had barely 1/2 tank of gas. I drove 40 miles and cost me $35.00 to fill the tank which is crazy. Uhaul should double check gas before renting trucks.

The return through the website went terribly. In the past, being able to pull up and drop off the keys was convenient. This time, my girlfriend spent 15 minutes trying to get the email. I then needed to call them and spend another 10 until finally getting the correct email and not able to sign in properly. What a hassle after renting and moving for anyone and their job. Hope this can be improved somehow thanks.

Make sure the truck is in good working order. There was an electrical issue and during a torrential downpour the windshield wipers stopped working. Also, the speakers wouldn't work, although the radio would turn on. The gear shifter would not come out of park. The wheel covers in the cargo bay leaked water during the rain storm which soaked our mattress and box spring.

Have your people listen to the customer. Told his twice I didn't need the insurance and he still put it on. I was in a hurry and didn't check the invoice, my fault. You got me for $14.00. Not the end of the world but don't like being over charged.

Not sure if I would recommend this location. There was not enough help on Sunday morning to deal with all of the people wanting to rent. If the reservation list is long, you need to call in help for the first hour of the day. Was this the only busy Sunday? The employee worked hard but there was too much for one person to handle. Waiting for over 1/2 hour is too long. Returning was fine. We were the only people there at the time.

The associate was efficient and friendly and upgraded me from a 20 footer to a 26 footer for free and it turned out that I really did need the larger truck! I think the truck had 79 miles on it. I was one of the first drivers. It was an awesome truck. Easy to drive and maneuver

My relationship with UHaul is rather bitter sweet. I rent your trailers on an annual basis and I will say the last three years I saw big improvements in the operations, until last week. I make a reservation online for a specific location. I stopped by there the day prior to verify ball size only to learn there are no trailers. They helped locate one in Colmar thankfully. The next day I get an email alert that the trailer is in Doylestown. That was fine - I was heading in that direction. My point is - why take a reservation if you know the location does not have one? Or if they don't have one - then notify me before I learn the hard way. I will not forget how I got burned by a UHaul location in NY, it was a one way trailer, I arrived on time, and the woman refused to rent me the trailer because it was a one way rental. The trailer was there, I saw it - she flat out refused. I had to drive 65 miles out of my way to find the nearest one - and I was very late for my appointment as a result. With all this negativity said, I will commend the Glenside and Doylestown locations, because they do a very good job and that is what keeps me a UHaul customer. The reservation system needs to be revised for better accuracy.

I rented a pickup the first day of moving. Before I left I checked the gas gauge and it was about an 8th of a tank from full. I informed them, which they replied "it is noted". When I returned the truck I returned it with the EXACT amount it came with, an 8th from full. I was charge $25 and was told I didnt leave the truck with a full tank of gas. This place has no integrity..buyer beware!!

I was charged a cleaning fee of $25. The truck was swept out before its return. At the beginning, I was simply handed the keys and told where the truck was on the lot. Normally, the truck was brought to you. I am a frequent renter, but I'm considering other options after this experience.

What disturbs me about this location, and I rent from here often, is that my rental is never pulled up to the door for me. In the past the manager/associate would have my vehicle ready for me so that I didn't have to search the parking lot for truck number. To me having to look for the number on the key that corresponds to the number on the truck is time consuming and wasting of my time. Go back to the old way of customer service, please.

trailer doesn't have a front jack stand. 1/2 of the lights didn't work, yet they gave me the trailer, I assume if stopped by police I would have been ticketed. BUT, I didn't have time to go running around to other locations to find a trailer in good shape

I didn't rent the hand cart or blankets, but when I opened the back of the truck they where in the back corner in my way. If I moved them I would have been charged extra. So they where in the way the whole move. If the cart could have laid down with wheels at the handle it would have been useful to move some dressers, extra.
