My issue is not with the people at the pick up location. Service was fine. My issue is with Uhaul. I had made a confirmed reservation at a different location in Akron. Then at the last minute I found out Uhaul I had to drive 20 miles out of my way to a different location to make pick up. Not a happy experience

I have always had a good experience at this location. Easy access, all the supplies you could ever need and very pleasant and helpful staff. I didn’t even have to get out of my car to drop off my trailer.

I was given the wrong truck, wrong mileage from the streetsboro location. Thankfully my drop off point on Brookpark Rd was able to assist and fix the problem.

Information on your website should be updated. For example the website says all Ford Explorers are not acceptable for towing trailers, but in reality later years are acceptable. Another example is making it clear that fees for trailer accessories such as blankets are rental fees, not purchase prices.

Rented a 10' truck online and received a confirmation email. two days before pickup I received another email regarding when and where to pick up. In the body I noticed it said 15' truck. When I called the pick up site I was told there were no 10' trucks available. Had I not read the fine print, I would not have known this. a 15' truck would have been too big for where I needed to drive it. A 10' truck was found before my pick up time and it all worked out.

The black attendant in cincinnatti was rude lazy would not go outside in a little rain to unhook my trailer and NEVER sent me the receipt he promised .. I plan on writing a letter to haul to express my dissatisfaction .. this entire experience caused stress to me and my family

Your young employee is very much in need of some customer service training. He tried to tell me that I needed to bring the vehicle back at 3 PM which I knew my reservation said 5 PM. He then tried to tell me someone had rented the vehicle before me and my response was that's not my problem. Uhaul accepted my rental reservation until 5 PM. He made me bring the vehicle back by 4:45 or incur a 50 dollar fee. That's not right.

Van I was given as a rental. Was dirty inside and out. Was told they clean the inside every 3 rentals. Seriously, the inside was very dirty. I did a walk-around, found paint scuffs & scratches not noted on the contract. Also found a lg chip in the windshield that I called into customer service. It was like the van was never checked-looked at after the previous rental. Pick-up and return was fine/good. Employees , nice/ok. Van terrible, my wife sat on a towel, seats were so filthy.

Very poor customer communications! I arrived for my hitch installation appointment (1-1/2 hours after they had opened for the day) only to be told that the installer was out so they would have to reschedule. No phone call that could have saved me a trip. I rescheduled for the following Monday and dropped my car of before the close of business on Sunday (at their request). By 3 pm on Monday, I had not gotten word that my car was done. I called the location and was told that they didn't have the correct tools to install the hitch so I'd need to take my car somewhere else. Again, nobody bothered calling me to let me know what was going on with my car.

I found it rather frustrating that between all the calls and text/e-mail messages that my truck was in 4 places at the same time and that it took multiple calls on my end to resolve the issue. By the time it was resolved I had a bigger truck than needed, and at a different location - further away. This truck was scheduled 3-4 weeks prior to the actual date needed.. Although they did compensate me, one usually rents a truck for a specific purpose and time needed....the added stress was not what I needed.

My only concern was the long delay and arriving for appointment when the hitch was not in. It would have been more customer friendly to receive a call that it was not in, then for me to drive there on appointment day to just be turned away. - Placed order for hitch on 06/27/18. Appointment for installation on 07/07/18. Upon arrival for appointment hitch was not received by U-Haul. Made several calls & stopped in to U-Haul for any updates. No answers other than it hasn't arrived. When I stopped in Penny (Peggy), not sure on name, was extremely professional, listened to my concerns and said she would personally call me with information. She called me the next day to say the hitch was in. Hitch arrived on 07/20/18 to U-Haul and installed on 07/23/18.

I answered "No" on the equipment question as the AC was not working very well in our rental. it would work for 5 to 10 mins and then it would start blowing warm air. Also, not related to this location, the mobile check-in is horrifically slow. We tried checking in for close to 10 mins before we abandoned the process and checked-in in person.

Very upset. I reserved box uhsul didn't have it there .waited 2 hrs. Staff was on hold trying 2 get answers for me. I am disabled and had to get a ride there.prople were waiting for me to assist me with my move on my end everything was a go. You had so many people messed up. Hoping all goes well on my delivery.took out instead because the box has not been moved in a year and a half. The small amt of insurance isn't enough for my items. Short staffed. Customers walked out. Not happy with service.

I reserved a truck the week before, then Sunday night before I was supposed to go pick it up on Monday morning, they called 5 mins before they closed and told me that they did not have the truck I reserved. The lady told me rudely that they were closed so too bad for me I guess. The store manager hung up on me when I called and was nasty the entire experience. The store manager admitted that the truck was overdue for two day but never contacted me until 5 mins before they closed for the day and on a Sunday so I could not even try at a different company at that late time. I have shared this experience with at least 15 people and will continue to tell everyone what a horrible experience this was and what a horrible company Uhaul is. My experience was a nightmare. Moving is stressful enough without a being lied too and treated with such rudeness. It was not my fault they screwed up and instead of trying to make it right they treated me poorly. I did not even get an apology for the screw up. I would be happy to discuss this issue with a customer service rep and am still waiting for my $50 back for the reservation screw up. I will also be reporting this to the Better Business bureau. Though it seem as if your company cares little for the reputation or lack of customer service. The service given to me was very good. Everyone I talked to was very friendly and helped me with what I needed. However, I did rent a truck ahead of time, but it was not there when I went to pick it up. The young lady that helped me told me I would get $50 credit for the inconvenience, which was great. She did have another truck available that I took instead and she gave me the original rate I rented for. The only big downside was that the check engine light did turn on the truck when I was taking it back to the location I rented from. However, due to the great customer service I had an overall good experience.

I scheduled the pick up at your Hudson location because it was the location that would best limit the mileage charge. However my pick up was moved to the streetsboro location, 7 miles out of my way. I was NOT contacted ahead of time. This was a very poor experience.

This location is great. However, uhaul customer service/registration sucks! Informed the night before moving that no trailer available in my area, but might be one 30 miles away. This location came thru.

I had a terrible time accessing a uhual for my uhaul needs. I called the number online to find one and nothing available within 60 miles of where I was moving from. I continued to call the number online (the 1800 number) to check availability and got different answers each time. I needed a specific location and time...the representative I last spoke with when something was found told me I could pick up at the ravenna loaction at 7am...I recieved a text the next morning saying my reservation is set for 12 noon at the Streetsboro location. I called and spoke to several representatives even management. Not one apology, just "oh were busy this time of year" I found that to be completely unacceptable! I feel it was not handled professionally and it was a lot of run around! My father drove 25 minutes to get to the ravenna loaction where the representative ensured me it would be ready for no reason. Had to drive another 25 minutes to get back home! Drove an additional 35 mins to get to streetsboro and he arrived early and was even told the were not sure that the truck I reserved would be there, the truck pulled in with the trailer thank god! -but this was not handled properly and I find this company needs to be more organized. The representatives on the phone need to not ensure customers that things will be in order when there is no guarantee! The representatives in the stores should be more informative. I will pay the extra money and go with penske next time.

This was the worst uhaul experience I have ever had and I do not want to pay for it. It's pathetic that I used the after hours pick up and the manger had all day to put the key into the box and set the code, yet it did not work. I shouldn't have to call the GM 10 times before he shows up to the store to unlock the box and give me the key because he couldn't of done it 5 days ago. I was late to my destination and had people waiting for me after working a 12 hour day, that was the last thing I needed. Absolutely ridiculous. Will take my business anywhere besides Uhaul during my next move.

Overall, the experience was good. People were helpful with getting our hitch ready to go etc prior to the equipment pick-up. The morning of equipment pick-up was very slow and way behind schedule. It took well over an hour to pick up the trailer.

Making sure equipment is ready. Wiring in trailer harness had a cut wire which had to be repaired and left me and hour shorted on my time with the trailer.

They are trying to tell me for one thing I went 31 miles when I know for a fact I went 25. Then they are trying to tell me I used over 8 gallons of gas so the truck only got 3 miles per gallon. I should be getting back around 20.00. They would not even show me the truck saying someone else already took it. I have rented plenty of uhauls and this is the first time I had a terrible experience.

I had to do an after hours pickup. When arriving app did not work. When calling 800 number and after talking to 8 different reps and one hour and twenty minutes later just to be td that app shoukd not have been downloaded with google chrome it doesnt work. Left with no truck only to return the next morning at 7 am to pickup truck. Told manager what had happened nigjt before and not even a thought of any type of compensation discount let alone never even apologized for the inconvenience. Oh well I see uhaul has fallen the way of the rest of society ha-ray for me and screw you Thank you for your time.

Your phone, customer service is terrible. 1 out of 5 stars. Thanks to the employee in the store we were able to figure out why I was overcharged. Customer service kept on telling me what do you want me do? And interrupting me, Terrible. Turns out that I picked up the van 15 minutes early and it charged me for two days of rental. Keep a very close eye on what your contract is, and what you get charged.
