Pick up location changed minutes before the assigned pick up time to a place on the other side of town. This meant I had to also drop it off away from the original drop site. The whole affair was downright insulting. There appeared to be a substance resembling sputum near the steering column. In the future I will take every possible effort to not use U-Haul.

Customer service was horrible. Front desk clerk at return was rude and condescending- he was making fun of me for complaining about backing into a tight alleyway off a crowded NYC street. I was completely humiliated and i want to be compensated for thus appalling experience. The truck was awful. Window handle was broken and i couldn't close the passenger window during the rain. The light switch did not wor - i was pulled over by a nj state trooper for the lights not working during the storm. He directed me to file a complaint with uhaul for faulty equipment

There was a huge line when I arrived; I had to wait 25 minutes to pick up my rental. When I returned my vehicle, I topped off the gas I had used (I put in 2 gallons for the 15 miles I'd driven) but the needle barely moved. I told the man at the counter and he said he would "see what [he] could do" and then proceeded to charge me for 4 more gallons of gas. IF it actually uses 6 gallons of gas to go 15 miles, there are HUGE issues with the vehicle. Also, the engine light came on while I was driving the truck. Overall, not a pleasant experience and I would not recommend using this location.

We had rented along with our van a hand truck, we were told they didn't have any left as it was first come, first serve...which we were never told..I had to drive to home depot and buy one, extra time, extra miles, extra money not to mention the cost of the hand truck..very disappointing experience.

The customer service at the front desk was good, but the utility dolly I reserved with my truck was unavailable the morning of my move, so not only did I not have the dolly, to rub salt in the wound I was THEN charged an $85 REPLACEMENT fee for the dolly I never got. I've also emailed twice and heard no response about my charge dispute

Well everything was not in order with my rental and still got charged for it and the van has tire pressure issues that I had to try to take care of that by myself. I really didn't like my experience checking in either the process was still like and difficult.

I prepaid for a furniture dolly and furniture pads, but they were not in the truck. I require a refund for these items. In addition, our truck was parked on the street with the key in the ignition and RUNNING when we arrived, wasting our gas. There were no attendants to be seen, and a crowd of at least 5 other people waiting for service.

The location was absolutely unprofessional, we asked why no one ever picked up the phone or even returned phone calls and her response was “ I don’t even work here “ .. okay ? So why are you at the counter .

When I was running late I called twice no one answered the phone. No return instructions were given. Overcharges on my mileage use. And I have pictures to prove it.

When I went to pick up my equipment the Uhaul servers were having serious connection issues. The men working at this location were able to control the situation and make sure all the customers got their equipment in a realistic time frame for the situation. They handled it with high professionalism under the pressure of annoyed customers due to situations completely out of their control.

With some customers waiting in line to be helped, the lady on the counter wasn't very friendly, she was responding questions in a rude way plus almost making fun when some one didn't knew what to do, my unit was very dirty.

I was very disappointed and surprised that the rental equipment including a dolly and protective foam sheets were not in the van when I picked it up after hours. This was an extreme inconvenience and I had to move everything by hand and there was damage to my items because I did not have the protective foam. On top of this, when I picked up the U-Haul van, it was sandwiched between 2 other trucks with barely any room to maneuver out. I would expect and welcome some type of reimbursement for this very disappointing experience. Please feel free to reach out should you have any questions.
