Keys can't be picked up without any in-person interaction. There was no one available to pick up the keys from for 35 minutes— despite having a reservation on the books. I had no choice but to wait which caused delays for movers and other time sensitive obligations during the day.

Make sure truck is clean and clear of snow when renting in the winter. The 30 min it took to warm this truck up and clean it off ate into my hour rental leaving me with 3.5 hours. Also when I returned, the employee working the front desk couldn't be bothered because he was on “break” and refused to come to the door, he yelled leave the key on the floor have a nice day??? Very strange. I will not be returning as a customer

Alex was very helpful both when I started and for return. I would think about getting new tires. When it was raining the wheels sounded like they were spinning and that there was poor traction. The truck did not swerve or have any control problems though.

Right passenger side mirror needs to be fixed. One small shake on the road and it faced down. I could not see the traffic behind me. It was very dangerous taking right turns or merging into lanes. Please fix your trucks. I was not a pleasant experience.

Dropped the truck off in a downpour. There was no clear (designated) place to park so i did what seemed to be logical and helpful, parking the truck and trailer in an easy to get to spot close to other uhaul trucks. I ran from the back of the building to the front door, soaking wet. The young man was polite but asked me if i would move the truck and trailer to a different location (honestly just a few feet away). I obliged and moved the truck in the pouring rain and returned the keys again. The right response would have been when i entered the building the first time, "Thank you sir, we will take care of it." Instead, he sat behind the desk and i ran back and moved the truck and trailer in the pouring rain-- and even then i'm not sure if it was where it needed to be. The young man just needs some training...i just spent 2000$ and i'm standing in the office soaking wet....it was a saturday afternoon, the place was empty, there was no pressure to move anything anywhere and even if there was a need, it wasn't my responsibility to figure that out. Train him up and i'm sure he'll be a fine representative in the future.

Online App was down for maintenance at 10AM on a Sunday. So I couldn't do the pickup through the App, I had to wait in line in the office. Seems like there should be a better window to do system maintenance. Did the drop off through the App, it was great.

Contactless drop off option was terrible. It took way too long, it woukd be better if it just gave you a list of all the pics you needed at the start so yoi could do it all at once.

At first it took over an hour to get the truck. The location of the lock box was hidden by a truck. Luckily a service tech dropped by and had to re do the contract in order to get the keys. Your web site said my contract was expired. Tech said uhaul having trouble with iOS phones. Mine is an android but issue persisted. Then while in travel we got a fairly fast tire leak. Lost 20lbs in about an hour and a half. Had to stop for air 5 times.

I have a dog allergy and the truck that was given to me had dog hair all throughout the cabin. I was congested, kept sneezing and overall didn't feel well. When I told the store manager Stavros of the condition he told me to call 800-GO-U-HAUL. Didn't even apologize. Actually he told me that there are so many in and out that he doesn't have a chance to check them out.

We did the 24/7 self check in and check out. I recommend that you either add a notation and reminder to the process to remember to bring your I-Pass Responder if planning on using the Tollway System. You could also leave a reminder on the drivers seat. We, of course, forgot to bring our I-Pass and I will be paying online.

The washer fluid was empty and the windshield and exterior was full of bugs. I had to get a bucket of water to pour in the washer fluid area. Inside of the truck was clean.

The truck was loud and the hood kept bobbing up and down. The cab and cargo hold were clean. Also, the dolly broke out of the holder even though I did not use it. I hope to not be charged for that

Used the App for contactless rental. When I picked up the truck, the App froze, was on hold for 20 minutes to get a customer support rep, by then the rental expired, had to start over after they reset my pickup time. Very frustrating, took over an hour to get the truck.

U-Haul can be more accurate with their inventory for the rentals. I had reserved a 10' x 10' truck at another location, only to find out when speaking directly to the manager of the Carol Stream location, that had a 10' x 10' to rent. It made it easier to bring the truck back to the Carol Steam location and open a storage unit at the same time.

I know it's not totally under your control, but you really need an actual Uhaul sign where the office is. It's a very confusing location. The young lady who helped me out at the counter was awesome and even laughed at my jokes.

Be upfront and clear regarding 24 verses 48 hour rental. We were told we had 2 days, 2 days stated on contract. We were charged and extra day because we returned vehicle in 26 hours. Again, contract specific 48 hours with return date stated! Very frustrated!!

The truck definitely needs an alignment check. The wheel had to be turned a little just to keep it straight. Also in tow haul mode the transmission slips when it is slowing down.

I was completely satisfied with this location. From my first call to reserve the trailer through the trailer pick up and drop off. The equipment was in great shape, clean and well maintained. The folks at the desk when I picked up were very courteous and knowledgeable. Great customer service... in this day and age it is not always easy to find great service. Thank you for making the whole process easy and affordable.
