It was a small mom and pop and quite interesting. The guy was helpful but he was busy and it took a bit. I was told any unused boxes would be bought back but the attendant said his boss does not buy boxes back.CARLOS T.
I needed to pick this vehicle up at 7am, when I arrived I checked in on the application, submitted my payment info and then received the code for the lockbox. The problem was that there was no key inside the box. I had to waste 1 hour of time that I could have been moving because I had to wait until 8am when the store owner showed up. Then he said "oops I was busy yesterday and knew I forgot something" He had forgotten to place the key in the box. This was inconvenient and aggrevating. What if I had needed the key at 4am?? I would have had to waste 4 hours waiting for this turkey.Keagan S.

I reserved a 26 ft truck and received 15ft. I was advised by Allen that he was aware there was no vehicle for me on Wednesday. I drove from California for a move and he called me day of move on Saturday. Then he said my internet reservation could not be relied on. It was Reserved and available at time of my reservation. He said it was double booked. This caused major problems for my long haul move back to California.DONNA P.

I had to drive an hour to pick up trailer, when there are 6 locations in Lake Havasu City! There was a same trailer sitting for weeks near the Highway 95. They also didn't say to check trailer over until we left for our hour drive back home! They also didn't say they close at 3:00! Poor communication! Not too happy.TINA B.
There was no person interaction. I dropped it off at 9 pm and used U-Haul app. In my opinion there could have been more lighting and the address could definitely be more visible.Humberto R.

We have had the worst experience we have ever had with U-haul. We went online to reserve a 5x9 trailer on Friday 7-2. We were told one was available and at location for pick. Then a couple of hours later we received a call telling us the trailer was nit available and was reserved for one way rentals only due to you having an equipment shortage. We were told we would have to take a larger heavier trailer from a different location. We were told basically to take it or leave it. We also ordered a trailer hitch to be picked up with the rental. We had to pay for the hitch at time of ordering it. When we got the location to pick up the trailer he had no hitch, we were told it would be there, so I had to go buy a hitch elsewhere. The man we not helpful and rude. When I took the trailer back it was before 3pm and I didn't have any tools to loosen the hitch and he was closed but lucky for me he hadn't left the parking lot yet and he relucticaly got his channel locks out and just loosened the nut nd left me to unhitch the trailer. He said he told me he was closing early but he didn't say anything about that that morning when I picked up the trailer. He was not helpful when we asked where we could get a refund for the hitch we paid for, he said he didn't sell it to me so he didn't have anything to do with it. I found him rude as well. The person in charge was extremely helpful. Even though I choose the far away location, he made the whole experience nice & easy . I chose the wrong location, wrong vehicle, etc. he was patient and guide me through the whole process. It seems like he loves what he do. He didn't make it look like a task , he did everything with easy and with a smile on his face. I will definitely drive 45 minutes to that location for any future business. I didn't got his name to give him a shout out. I think he is a Native American on his late 40 . I just want to say He's an awesome guy.MARIA P.

You can make sure you have the equipment available when it wad already reserved, and you can make sure the auto transport is not missing any chains or light fixtures needed in order to be used.STEVE L.

Make sure trucks in safe condition such as having dash lights that work. Had to flash light to see speed and ck gauges. No leaks from over head door..clean the truck. Lady that helped me was courteous but other lady was rude.Linda H.

It took almost two hours to go through the process of getting this vehicle. The whole process was very frustrating, the system kept timing out and we had to start all over, it asked repeatedly for the same pics and info, proxy server errors, it was really bad. I hope I never have to use this system again, at least not until you get it working right!Garret B.

Will be contacting the BBB regarding your company practices. I have never been abused so badly by a company before. I had reserved a truck 2miles away from my home went to pick it up no truck available. They found one 25miles away that I had to drive to pick up then I'm charged the mileage and charged for oads and dolly I never ordered!!!! Dont use uhaul period they are crooks!!!Sharon R.
The only issue I have is that I was required to take the trailer to a uhaul 35 miles away from my destination. This was because the 3 local uhaul lots did not have room. I was told by the u haul I got the trailer from it was not a problem but then the return destination was changed, via email, to a distant location. I called before the return and was told to take it to the distant location by corporate, not really efficient for me. But the trailer was greatRob D.

Uhaul is a great company with great people and needs a better ap. The ap and software the dealers have to work with are not working well-glitches, stops and freezes: go back and start over. The dealer software and peesonal ap do not showcase the actual company culture at all. Tyclemens H.

The woman who helped me, Deborah, was so very nice and helpful. I showed up 3 hours earlier than I signed up for on line, and my truck was ready and waiting. She was very disappointed that the windshield had not been cleaned, so she cleaned it herself. This was the easiest U-haul rental I've done, and Deborah was such a joy to deal with.CAROLYN B.
