This facility was built poorly. One freight elevator and it was broke twice. I was on a time schedule to get our things into it prior to moving. Carrying heavy items up three flights of stairs is unacceptable. I attempted to contact the facility for updates during and nobody ever answered the phone. I escalated this through corporate and was told the regional manager would call me. Nobody did. I had to call back to corporate to get the regional managers phone number to call her directly. The solution was to charge me more for a ground floor unit. Why would I pay more because someone decided to place a cheaply built freight elevator that apparently also had incompetent technicians to repair it in? How could I have confidence that this freight elevator would be functional when I return to retrieve our items in the future? I am not willing to take that chance so I found another facility for our things. Also, I mentioned freight elevator so much because they are built to be tougher than normal elevators. In a new facility such as this one a good elevator should last many years before any issues would occur unless it was just a cheap company that installs and maintains it which obviously is what you choose.

Vehicle transmission was messed up. Gear would not engage drive. Had to drive in gear 3, spending extra gas. Told the person that checked in the vehicle upon return, he said he knew about it. Vehicle should have been decommissioned or serviced a long time ago.

The personnel on site were top-notch!!! There was a problem with my connection for the trailer lights and they took the time to verify what the problem was and then fix it. Very professional and courteous!!

Four days ahead I made my reservation in person for a 5x8 close trailer with a RAMP. I specified that I had back problems and that I needed a trailer with a ramp. They said that that is why they are there to help me. But it did not happen. I asked for a discount and they said that the manager was out of contact. I have rented from U Haul since 1978 without any problems.

We recently rented the storage unit so we can say much about it. We can only say that they are new facilities and all the units have climate control. We respond no to the recommended question since every case is different, so what works for me probably won't work for someone else.

So far so good. My first ever personal storage unit. Really appreciated kind and helpful team members. It was a rather traumatic day for me but they were so accommodating. Had some trouble with the U-Haul app; my reservations won’t show up there, neither truck nor storage. Thank you!

It was a great experience when I was physically there, but a huge hassle when I was out of state. The office never answers the phone. It always gets redirected to corporate sales. That was extremely frustrating, especially when I was told I could call if I needed any assistance. Other than that, it was a decent.

Well let’s see… I reported my access card stolen but they refused to shut it down because someone who was not on my account in any capacity claimed to be power of attorney for my emergency contact. It was my phone number. My name. How is this possible? I didn’t press too much because I had a lock on it, but they let this person access the facility and add a lock of their own. They refused to move the lock but said I could. I had asked for 24/7 access and found out that it wasn’t activated as stated after I was locked out for going to retrieve another tool. The tools I left were gone and the staff confirmed they had seen them but didn't return them. I couldn’t get the lock off with no tools. I waited for them to show up so that I could ask, and I had a fleet of cops ride up and trespass me so that I couldn’t come back. I figured they’d be closed on the holiday but I just received an email stating that I moved out. All of my stuff is being made available to someone I don’t know. The person may not even be at the right unit because the note they were also allowed to put on my account didn’t even have my name on it. I have no clue who “Kenny” is but why can this person put notes on my account, put locks on my door; and take my entire unit?

Consumers should be able to get refunded if they turn in their unit at the beginning of their monthly lease. Why pay for time that the unit is no longer in use? This is not fair to the consumers

They never answer the phone when you call. It goes directly to Uhaul help center. It's an indoor facility but there was water in my unit and got my mattress wet. I rented a truck with an appliance dolly and when I picked it up. They had no dolly so they gave me a smaller one which was not enough for my bigger items to go up some stairs. The reservation was made well ahead of time and they should make sure they have the equipment that is reserved.

Chris Ortega, the manager was excellent with customers. He was very very nice one man he had working the desk his name was Richard most horrible person I’ve ever met. He did not give me a card to get in the storage unit. He did not tell me how it worked or anything he was just awful. I hope I never have to talk to that man again he shouldn’t be working there. He was just so ugly I thought maybe he’s having a rough day but then again, maybe that’s just the way he is I was I had to mention to Mr. Ortega maybe you could re-train him he definitely does not need to be dealing with the public and for that reason, I might suggest it but then again when I think of Richard, NO WAY, thank you .

The storage facility exceeded my expectations to such a degree that though my original intent was to use the site for only a short time during a transition period between homes, I am considering using it as a longer term storage solution for some of my personal goods. The presence of a freight elevator and complimentary moving equipment is incredible, but was not particularly emphasized in the online description of amenities, which is a point for potential improvement.

The keypad entry disarming an entry access system is tedious and problematic for customers who are loading or unloading a truck. To be constantly stopping to to turn around and punch in a code everytime you go through the door is frustrating to say the least. If the system is set up for swiping a card? The card should be provided at check-in for every customer. By the way key coding the restroom just comes across as lazy and inconsiderate.

This is my second encounter at this location. I rented a truck about a week ago. The same young man assisted me. He is friendly, and has a good sense of humor. One tip: It would be useful to explain more clearly the check-in process for the storage facility. It is necessary to swipe your card on the security pad to make the door access system work. Another tip: Be sure to point out the overhead door access to the inside loading area; this is a really cool feature.

First of all, no employees were around to help with anything when I moved in. The middle door to the loading zone was damaged and unlocked and did not close fully. The young puerto rican lady there tells me to wait 5 min and the door would close. I start unloading and when I come back down the door damaged the truck and vice versa. I was not present when the incident happened. I asked for the camera footage to prove the negligence was NOT mine. Chris Ortega asked me for my info so he could deliver the footage. Instead, they try to charge me over $6,000 for the damages I had no control over, lock my storage with one of their locks and calls the sheriffs on me because I needed help promptly to get some belongings to be able to get to work and he didn’t want to be there. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE TOP TO BOTTOM I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STORING WITH THESE TYRANTS BECAUSE THEY WILL RATHER KEEP YOUR BELONGINGS FOR AUCTIONS.

Overall, it was a good experience. However, there were several days with no access following Hurricane Ian, which added stress and delays to our move. We also noticed a higher than normal amount of roaches and spiders in comparison to other storage facilities we have used.

The facilities are very nice but I found it very difficult getting moves in through the website. There were no links to move in as the support people told me over the phone and no one at the actual facility answered there phone. I had to have a remote support person put me in touch with someone to arrange payment and move in over the phone. This took me 30-45 minutes just to get in contact with the right person which was frustrating.

Facility was clean and nice. Carts were available and in good condition. However, the office is not open at that location and you have to drive into a facility in Kissimmee to gain access. There is a note on the door with an address and the main U-Haul phone number, which nobody knows what is going on with that local facility. The phone number listed on U-Haul website just rings and nobody picks up. I drove the 30 mins farther into Kissimmee in traffic with my truck to get help. There was a long line, however the staff was very friendly and addressed my needs. This would have been a 5 star review if there had been some sort of communication through the website or email that there was no office at that location. Cost me an extra 2 hours of time and a quarter tank of gas.

Unit was ready but it was still under construction and only one elevator on the building and it was not working. My unit was on the 3rd floor. I try to get help. Reach out to the number on the reservation. Explained the situation. Put me on hold for more than 30 minutes. Hang up and call again. Same thing. 3rd time I selected check-in. The guy told me he can't help. Gave me another number. No one answered. Press the button on the "customer service" box. No one answered. By the way it also says "security" 😬 I hope no one have a real emergency. Had to go somewhere else last minute. The positive. They called me next business day and had not issue getting a refund. I would personally avoid unmanned facilities in the future.

we made a reservation for a 1 way trip over 10 hours when we got there we were told the drop off was different than the storage we drove around all flipping day because we couldnt find the place because it was closed then ended up reserving a unit with a totally different company this is the most disorganized and worst reservation and drop off system. then our drop off location was a flea market that was locked then after putting our gas back to where it was at half a tank we were charged an extra 12.50 for gas. this was an awful experience we reserved a truck and a trailer on the front endnon one transaction and were told we had tongo to 2 different locations terrible absolutely awful worst experience ever with
