Communication skills need improving. Website is inaccurate. Management unwilling to make concessions for their inadequate supplies (even though website stated otherwise) or the mileage used to go get it from another store. Would have gotten storage unit there but too expensive. Went to Storage Mart instead. Wouldn't match their price. Wouldn't recommend that location to anybody. The night crew however did accommodate me with allowing the appliance dolley (that I was told to get from another location) to stay on the truck. They were the only saving grace.

We have been renting from this location consistently for the last year. I am extremely disappointed after our most recent trick rental. The truck broke down in a Quick Trip parking lot. My driver called the roadside assistance number. He was told it would be a little over an hour. He contacted the clients immediately. They were waiting for him. The 26-foot truck was filled with their household goods. Long story short. It was raining buckets. It took roadside assistance over 2 hours to arrive. I lost money dealing with U haul. We have never had an issue like this one. The General Manager Heather always took good care of us. I’m not sure what the heck is going on but it seems to be going downhill.

Pick up: chose this location as it was close to the first apartment I was loading up. At no fault of theirs- road construction made it difficult to get there and get out. I would not recommend mobile check out, I still had to go in to store. When making reservations- I somehow did not get a hand truck, when I asked she said they had none available- there was more than a dozen on showroom floor. Sad for me.

Upon dropping the vehicle off, I was told I would get a refund for half of my charge as it was within 24 hours. Once I left, I got the confirmation email and there was no refund. When I called back, I was told that they couldn't refund it and to go back to where I picked the truck up. They also said they couldn't do anything so just be aware that apparently multiple employees at different locations that said the same thing are both "new" or didn't know what they were talking about to clients. Unfortunately, got a message from Uhaul management too that said tough luck, they were wrong and they were not willing to do anything about it.

Just the other be day I kindly ask a worker could use the restroom, she told me NO!, I offered $5.00 to let me use, again she NO,it's not I was a person who just walked in off the streets,was returning a truck, but because she wouldn't let me use the restroom, I really had a embarrassing moment (messed my pants on the way find establishment,who would let me use the restroom, but because of that I will take my business elsewhere!

Folks, be sure to check the mileage before starting out. I did not and the recorded mileage was off by 500 miles! UHaul noticed the problem but charged me $500 anyway, refunding it after a few days. Learn from my mistake!

Communication was poor, especially when the elevators went out. Yes, Both elevators went out of commission on the same day and my unit was on the 3rd floor. I had rented a truck and hired help on that day, and you all screwed me royally. It was not just inconvenient, but you cost me a lot of money. You all can communicate perfectly when you want to be paid OR the NUMEROUS times you raised my rental fee. I have had rental units before, and no one ever raised my fee. This is the LAST place I would ever rent a unit from again.

Vehicle was a little dirty on the outside. The rear door seal had separated from the frame and had to be continually moved away as the load progressed. Overall, the vehicle drove and handled very well for a van.

I signed up for the 24/7 remote thing. It didn't work. I happened to go during manned hours at the store. So the staff assisted me in getting the vehicle in real life. However, the truck was not checked in properly and when I got to my destination it still had a lock on it from a previous rental and they didn't have the code for it. So I had to drive it back and swap trucks. In taking the keys into the store to pick up the keys to the next truck I slipped and fell. The young man that helped me came out after two patrons at the storage part of the store came over to help me up. He indicated that people fall there all the time. I had people waiting on me that I was paying to help me load the uhaul so I had to leave. But I was injured and had to seek medical assistance, the store personnel did not offer to get me any. And it resulted in a rib fracture and hip displacement. I am pursuing action.

the gas gauge was significantly less than what the paperwork said. I have attached pics of the contract and the actual gauge. You can see the contract says the fuel level was 5/8 but the gauge was actually 3/8. I went into the store and told them and offered to show them my photo but they said there is a link in some text message I would get that I would need to adjust. Note that the metadata of the photo says 9:08 AM and the contract is from 8:59 AM, so I hadn't gone anywhere yet. I never received any text link or whatever. All of this could have been avoided if the employees this morning would have come out to see the gauge or even look at my photo and adjusted the contract on the spot. So when I returned the truck, I filled it up to 5/8 of a tank. I did not take a picture of that gauge because I did not have my ipad with me at the time, after my move and all the work, I forgot it at home. The woman when we dropped off this evening said she would refund $20 but that has not happened yet. I should have not paid for the extra gas and simply refilled to 3/8 of a tank but I did not want to have to argue about the refill fee as well. The contract simply should have been adjusted to reflect the real gas amount this morning. This evening we were told that the employees are new and that's the reason this all happened. Regardless, I need some money refunded to me. Please let me know what will happen for this. Just a head's up, no one also greeted me when I walked in this morning. The guy was on the phone so that makes sense but the lady didn't engage with me at all for like 4 minutes, no "hi, be right with you" or whatever.

There was no washer fluid in the truck & the inside of the cab was very dirty, things spilled in the seats, etc. and the box had to be swept out because of broken glass & other trash. Dirtiest truck I've ever rented!

I thought the staff was excellent! The woman. who did my check in was great! However, you could provide more safety for night drop offs. I had an issue with a man who was yelling, throwing things, and impeding my rental return. I had to call the police to be there so I could finish the process. I was very scared for my safety. I could not get back in the the truck to leave and drop off later. Thank God my daughter was there with me in her car.

The U-Haul was not clean this time I rented. I swept it out before placing any of items in truck. Gas gauge was not where the attendant stated it was upon pick up. Most disturbing thing was I found beer lids off beer bottles in the cab. It was the worst experience I have had dealing with U-Haul and I rent from you often.

But there is a supervisor their I highly appreciate for her help who needs to be recommended to call on BECOUSE she understands and in some way is willing to help. As long as your in compliance with uhausl's rules...I learned a valuable lesson as well . That is be carefull of the help you hire to move your things. They can cost you money time and your peace if they are not true to the work and have their own vendetta ! Like stealing along the way. But yes she did that! The staff are second to none. Always friendly, helpful and happy. Unfortunately I was misguided on the storage rates. I wanted a large unit for my clothes and one wasn't available. So I was assigned 2 smaller units that almost added up to what I needed but way less convenient on separate floors. Then I was charged a rate that was way higher than the large unit I requested and inconvenient as well. So I moved my storage to someone who gave 2 smaller units on the same floor while I wait for a large unit to become available and am being charged the rate that I would be paying for what I requested until that size comes available. THAT'S customer service. You don't punish a customer monetarily because you don't have what they need immediately.

I hope that my reasons for leaving doesnt hurt my relationship and future business with uhaul I caught covid early on and fell behind on payments for a storage and the manager Nichols Shaw was so understanding and uhaul so helpful during my hospitalization and offered me and way to save my things I just wanted to say I really appreciate you uhaul when I thought all was lost and thought I wouldn't make it thru covid 19 knowing that my personal belongings were safe and I could come retrieve them thank you thank you thank you love you guts for that because with the payment agreement i just didnt kbow how I was goibg to pay for and thought I surely lost it . ❤❤ its so nice to see companys that care about there customers and understand this pandemic. The stall that was given to me was still full and he moved me over to the next stall that he said was larger but it did not look like it to me. And I have to pay more then I was quoted. I am glad it is going to be temporary until I get a larger home and I will be measuring it when I go back. But it is nice and clean other then having to pay almost $25.00 more a month and a stall that might be smaller.

Kevin was truly a life-saver. We'd rented a 15' truck in Gladstone for convenience-sake and IT WASN'T THERE for pick-up. We went to the storage unit and Kevin was able to get us sorted out and on the road. I can't give him enough stars for his knowledge, helpfulness and quick response. -john elias

The day staff was extremely helpful. Raquan helped with literally all of my issues, which made the storage process much easier. Nicole made sure that once I was locked out (after 10pm) that my things left in the hallway were stored safely until I returned the next day. The only thing the storage facility needs are larger elevators. My sofa and queen sized box spring had to be carried up 2 flights of stairs which was a painful process. But I like how secure the building is, and the employees were helpful.

To whom it may concern I rented a truck that was on E they said it was going to credit my money back to me for putting the gas in the truck when I call about my money they said they credited to my account when I checked my account my storage balance was still the same when I rented the truck the very first time they overcharge double charge whatever you want to call it for $92 and some change tell me to call my bank because they credited my money back to my card and my bank said they never did they didn't see any credits of them returning my money and they didn't credited to my account because my balance it never went down and never changed nothing so when they say they're going to credit your money back they don't credit your money back they don't add it to your account none of that they give you the run-around the and they don't give you anything back like they say they do are they say they will so no I will not recommend, not at all.... thanks for your services......

During this time of crisis and uncertainty. My daughter is at university in Kansas City and we live in Canada . It was a rush and a panic to get my daughter home then to hear a day later her school was closing and she needed to be out of her dorm in 3 days . Nicole was an amazing help with setting everything up online and over the phone , as where the 3 call centre Agents I needed to speak to . Your staff has been an amazing help and comfort . We got everything moved in and secured by my daughter’s roommates. . Hopefully we will be able to move her Back into dorms when school resumes in August , and we will be back to work with U-Haul for summer break over the next 4 years.

Booked a rental in Bellingham which was changed to Ferndale. In the end, I cancelled the booking. Booking with UHaul is like a moving target,locations keep changing.

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate me and I really appreciate them. The access being shared w/ the bank means the hours are less convenient but it worked out fine.
