The tow hitch would not install the normal way the hitch had to be turned upside down. Now the hitch and trailer are much closer to the ground. Once i start the trip the chains from the hitch start dragging on the ground and sparkling once informed by other drivers I pulled over and installed zip ties, later the chain from the hitch broke I used zip ties again, overall not a great trip, I found out later that was not the proper way to install a hitch, I was very grateful I made it to my destination!!!

Let people know when they reserve a van or pickup truck that they must have a Nevada driver's license. It was extremely frustrating to learn of this at the time of pick up. Thankfully, Ian was more than helpful in assisting me with another vehicle.

The experience would have been into excellent but the white bald gentleman was unpleasant the day I picked up the U-Haul and I was so thankful the pleasant woman inside called me over for pick up. When I dropped off he was the only one working inside and he rudely said I needed to wait by the truck. We went back outside to wait for the other kind man helping a food truck with propane and after waiting a very long time he said to please go back inside and tell the person inside the was tied up and to help me. We did and he was not happy. So much so he belched out loud with me sitting directly across from him without covering his mouth or excusing himself.

I've had a small storage unit @ U-Haul, since late 2,019. It was unfortunate, like an apartment rental, U-Haul, raised its prices, once a year or less; since late 2,019. Otherwise, I felt my belongings were safe and secure on Second floor. On Second floor, my unit was above, similar to a Linen Closet. Keyed entry; security access. Good customer service. Courteous employees. Professional.

I rented a Tow dolly. I neede to remove the 2.5” ball and install the 2” ball I purchased to fit the Tow dolly. There were no tools available to help with the task. I would make a suggestion that, since uhaul rents trailers and car dolly’s, and also sells hitches and hitch balls, It should perhaps be standard practice to have tools at rental locations to facilitate removing/swapping hitch balls. Tools (large wrenches, etc.), to fit the various sized bolt nut that secure the ball to the hitch. This would’ve likely resulted in saving me 2 additional hours of time and fuel.

U-Haul has great storage facilities that are well maintained and very secure. They often offer specials which allow me to better budget for moving and storage. The staff are always helpful and knowledgeable about suggesting the right size storage unit for your belongings. U-Haul will definitely remain my #1 choice for moving and storage!

I rented a 15 foot truck. Every was fine. The only problem was the mirrors would move and I'm a short man. The only way to see was to lean forward to see out of the lower mirror. I couldn't remove the key. Thank goodness my grandson was able to remove it. Didn't notice that problem until I filled up for gas.

They can improve the speed of when the deposit post back into your account. They took my deposit was immediately but it’s been over 8 hrs since I returned the truck but my deposit isn’t in my account. I spent my last to move they could at least have the decency to give me my refund immediately just like they took it immediately

Need more light in that store room a122 there's no light in it I don't know if the other storage space is have no light but that one needs more light it has no light Period, or lower the cost. Other than that is it's real good.

When I rented a 6X12 trailer, the trailer came off my truck while on the freeway. Yoor individual never tightened the tongue down. Then 2 days later, I was given attitude by the woman that works there. I never closed this storage, it was closed by the management at the facility. Worse UHAUL ever

Locked outta my storage for 2 months even though it was paid and that was under an assumption they had no proof of and then they auctioned off my storage I'm currently in the process of litigating with a lawyer to further investigate these felonious charges and the unlawful auction of my property due to an assumption by General management of U-Haul staff and employees and I would like to state that I just got this message on the 17th and they scheduled me for a move out date on the 16th that's very illegal and I'm going to prosecute by the extent of the law that's f****** b******* and due to the fact that they currently acted as if they never had this phone number I'm suing them

I was told to expect a call from the manager today, but I'm not holding my breath. I showed up later than expected, so I was unable to chat with anyone in the office, but it was still during access hours. Not a problem, I believed, as my email clearly said that my free lock had been left in my unlocked unit. This was a lie. After figuring out the check-in process that required two separate card readers (why?) using the access code from the email, I walked in and found my unit still locked. This is where bad turned horrific. I called the managers number multiple times (using multiple phones) for self service help. The phone was simply off, it went straight to voicemail every time. Calling customer service, I asked if it was within my rights to use bolt cutters to gain access. They said no. I even offered to pay for the lock. I had driven hours from home and planned to return home in the late evening. As hotels were in high demand due to a conference, my options were another full day of driving the following day, or wait until the morning. The phone representatives basically told me "too bad, try tomorrow." Desperate, I tried sleeping in the car. If you have the ability, please look at the tape of the parking lot. We were chased out of there by a man who tried breaking into the car repeatedly and kept yelling at us. He also tried to break in to every truck in the parking lot, banging on them and causing a ruckus. Given the violence often shown by police, I felt that my best bet was to take my husband and belongings and park overnight somewhere safer. The person working in the office the following morning listened to this story, was sympathetic, and helped us promptly. Sadly, she was unable to provide us with a good explanation for why our unit wasn't ready, nor any way to make this experience less terrible. She said that she took note and promised to pass it to the manager.

The entire staff was professional and friendly. When I was moving my stuff out I didn’t know if I was suppose to leave the lock and key somewhere so I went inside to check. There was a lady at the counter and she appeared very irate. It seemed as though there was a mix up with the ladies rental at another uhaul place and they sent here to this location. Ronda handle that lady so well I was very impressed. She stayed professional and polite the entire time. Ronda needs a bonus or raise after dealing with that lady!

My experience using U-Haul spreads to about 40-50 years. 20+ years in Las Vegas and at this location, 5316 Boulder Hwy, Las Vegas, NV. I have also used other U-Haul and other non-U-Haul storage facilities, in Nevada and other states. U-Haul is NOT without problems. Problems do occur during normal business transactions. In fact, many. The important thing is, that U-Haul or at least all of the locations I have dealt with, especially 5316 Boulder Highway ALWAYS solved any problems to a satisfactory conclusion before the end of the day. There are many things I do NOT like at U-Haul; they are mostly at corporate level. At the end of the day, U-Haul is a One-stop-provides-all-in-moving-and-storage-needs. I will continue doing business with U-Haul as long as the safety, satisfaction, customer service, and convenience continues.

I moved all my things out and moved back out of town, I have placed my lock back on the unit by mistake. Had told the facility I had done so and that i had cleared the unit out, but they continued to charge me for the unit because of the lock being still on there. That is not right or fair, I would like those charges taken off of me.
