Nothing for the individual store but here are some general suggestions. The 19.99 truck and the dolly is too small for any serious moving. Nothing big fits in there. There could be another type if dolly between the standard 7.99 version and the heavy furniture dolly. I had a third floor apartment move and I had to squat down to be able to grab the dolly for anything taller than 6 feet.

YES! Please review / update the online check-in process. It is extremely troubling as a customer to show up and still have to complete more check-in steps ("selfie" pic added) when I think that I've already "checked in" before-hand. Also, consider editing the wording about front/back license photos in the online check-in (currently says "Optional").

Workers were rude, they started arguing with each other in front of customers, truck was dirty, I drove 16 miles and was charged for 4 gallons of fuel after I had filled it up back to where it was when I picked it up, I was charged an environmental fee for some reason. The truck was as clean if not cleaner when I returned it. There were shopping bags in it when I picked it up, which I cleaned out so as to not be charged a cleaning fee.

Make it easy to drop the trailer while loaded... Spending a few non travel days mid trip and not wanting the trailer attached the whole time, it is very difficult to drop and reattach as is.

First I moved out Feb 25 before my unit was due not the 3/ 16. We tried to call u on Feb 25 and as always the phone is routed to somewhere else u never get anyone to pick up at your office. But we talked to customer service who put it into your notes that we have moved out and I guess no checks the notes, so we kept getting calls about a unit that we no longer were in. Just wish someone would pick up the phone better and customer wouldn’t have to go through things

The employees were moving in slow motion. No one was friendly. The line I waited in was unacceptable. They assigned me a trailer that wasn't there. They had to reassign another trailer which took even more time. Those employees made your company look bad. I have rented from UHaul many times. I normally don't fill out surveys but you need to know that you have big problems at this location.

1) ONLINE CHECK-IN: I recommend reviewing that process from the customer's viewpoint ad re-wording parts. Example: it is very frustrating to see the word "OPTIONAL" on a task when completing this ahead of time, but then to be told at check-out that the task is actually required. 2) LOCATION: (+) staff were very helpful and offered quick solutions to issues (-) trailer I rented had broken glass in the bed (not a little) & other trash items (-) truck fuel was 1/8 tank less than what staff said at check-out but I filled in tank to match written amount

Let start with the flooding that happened to some units. I have permission for them to check my unit. Fortunately my things weren't affected. I went to get my things out tonight and everything was covered in some sort of sand/ dirt or something. Then I come in to tent my truck and the payment system took $100 off of my card for the attendant to say the payment didn't process. He then calls tech support which we waited 30 mins for to answer. They get on the phone AMF days my payment was canceled in their system even though it fully processed out of my account. They then tell me I need another form of payment and it may take up to 5 days for my $100 payment to be refunded back to me. I won't EVER use Uhaul again. And I definitely won't recommend them to anyone EVER. One last thing, 2 out of their 3 computers was down. Just sad.........

I reserved a climate control unit a month prior to me moving my stuff into storage. On the day of my move- in, I found out my storage unit was given away. I had to settle for a non climate control storage unit. Due to that change some of my furniture was damaged.

I was charged a full month's rent ($177.00) for literally 3 days. I did reach out to dispute this and was told I still had to pay the full month's rent. I ended up renting a moving truck from another company because I was so disappointed in uhaul. Never again and I will not recommend uhaul.

I recently made a trip from Texas to North Carolina, after 14 years, to finally get my keepsakes out of storage and clean out the storage unit. My entire 3 bedroom house was contained in this storage unit, and I was extremely excited to finally go through these old memories, or so I thought. Upon arrival, I found that my lock has been cut and my unit has been moved. That was problem number 1, why was my unit moved? Finally, after speaking to management and explaining that I shouldn't be charged for the lock and key when I have my key on me, and the lock was cut without my knowledge, and without me present, the management allowed me to move forward without paying for that lock. Now, the maintenance man drilled out the lock, and I rolled up the unit door. At which point, my jaw dropped. My entire 3 bedroom house was dwindled down to a few boxes on one of the walls, a few trash bags, and a couple pieces of broken furniture. Everything else was gone! My beds, Livingroom sets, dining sets, 3 bedroom sets, most of my boxes of stuff; everything was gone. I immediately contacted the management and was met with even more questions. Nobody seemed to have any answers. As management went over the situation, I started looking at what I had left. As I opened boxes, I found mold, mildew, and rat/mouse infestations in the remaining boxes. Out of my storage unit, I was able to scrape together less than one medium sized tote of stuff to take home with me. This included about a quarter of my service awards, one class A jacked with ribbons, half of my baseball cards I had as a child, and maybe 20 of my 500-1000 pictures. Everything else was destroyed. Management got back to me while at the unit. Apparently there was a hurricane that went through in 2016, and my unit was underwater. They moved my unit and threw away everything that was wet. The unit was essentially a total loss. I have been paying for this unit for 14 years. Why couldn't they tell me that my unit was underwater and everything was destroyed? UHauls answer to this? We tried to contact you. Really!?!?! You sure have the ability to send me a bill, verify I paid it, and call when payments are going up, but you can't contact me to tell me everything in my unit has been destroyed by a hurricane?!?!?!?! REALLY!!!!! Anyway, I continued to pay the bill thinking everything was fine with my unit for an additional 7 years. Afterall, what I don't know keeps them getting paid for the unit. What did management tell me? I need to submit an insurance claim, and they will need an itemized list of everything destroyed. How am I supposed to produce an itemized list of everything in that storage unit when it was an entire 3 bedroom house, especially trying to remember 14 years ago, and they 95% of it away without my knowledge? Now, the insurance garbage I have been dealing with. I tried to contact the insurance carrier for Uhaul , the one that handles the claims, and literally never heard anything. Nobody answered the phone, nobody emailed me, nobody returned the call. I left voicemail after voicemail, and no replies. I tried for weeks to no end, and finally gave up. I guess the way insurance claims work is if nobody answers the phone, I guess my claim cannot be submitted. No submitted claim means no refund for 14 years (7 minimal) and repayment of the furnishings for an entire 3 bedroom house. To answer your question, "Please rate your overall experience storing with U-Haul?" I wouldn't do business with Uhaul if they literally got on their knees and begged me. The audacity to send me that question, after my experience, Uhaul should be absolutely ashamed.

My storage locker was mistakenly opened/lock removed by staff. I was informed and told that I received a new lock and the new keys would be FedEx to me at my present location. That was over three (3) months ago. I have made numerous inquiries regarding receipt of new keys for my storage. As of May 30, I still have not received those keys and I am unable to travel right now. I sincerely request this situation be corrected so that I have access to my property in storage that I am paying rent for each month.

My storage bill was due in the 18th of each month. When I went to turn in my access key at 9:45am on the 18th, I was told I had a balance for the upcoming month. I was told I would be responsible to pay that month even though I was no longer in the unit. After argument and a phone call to however, I was cleared with a zero balance. Absolutely foolish! I did contact the store to ask what protocol was. I was told I had until close of business on the 18th to pay the unit rent or be cleared out with pictures/video and return of the access key.

I had a great experience! Very professional staff. My only recommendation is to hire more people to work the registers. There are times where I had to wait in line 30-45 mins just to buy something from the store or ask a question. You are the best Uhaul in town and people know that…but I’d recommend being more customer service focused.

Maybe you should improve the concrete ramp at the West end of the storage building with unit #646/5' x 10'. We struggled on this using the cart for a couple loads until we found the ramp on the East end of the building was better suited for use with the cart. Or perhaps putting a sign on the West end that lets people know the East end offers easier access for the cart.

When booking the storage , we were told it would be 24/7 all we had to do was enter our access code. I double checked with the representative that had helped me to make sure because we were traveling 4hours to this site. I was assured i would be able to put my things in storage 24/7. We get to the site at around 10:07 and attempt to put in our code. It said access denied- closed. I called the Number on the sign for after hour assistance no answer. I called the U-Haul customer service number and was on the phone with her. She told me we were misinformed and tried to reach out to the gm for me. No answer. We had to camp out in our cars till the storage opened because we couldn’t get in. I am overall very upset, why we the rep who helped us book everything tell us we would have access 24/7 if we didn’t. So frustrating.

Yes I would recommend them if you haul learns how to answer their phones when their customers are calling to let them know that they did take all their belongings out of the unit and that the lock was still there but they want to charge you $117 but they won't answer the phone so that you can let them know when you work everyday and they're closed by the time you get home to inform them that the unit was empty and that they could have taken or cut the lock off if they needed to but nobody answered the phone

My bill was due in the 22nd of every month. I was able to secure a rental property moving my furniture on the 26th (4) days later to be billed for another month. That is unacceptable plus no at this location is never able to answer the phone. The call center can’t help problems at a particular location. No I would recommend nor use U-haul in the future. Plus I’m paid up until the 22 of April to be advised that the storage 404 is no longer available to me. I didn’t checkout. Bad business and a darn ripoff.

I was involved in an auto accident earlier in the year and advised U haul management that I was not able to pay the full unit rental and asked to be but into a smaller unit after a caught the payments up on the first unit. I did so and they didn’t put me in a smaller unit. I just got out the hospital 4 days ago and answered an email in what my intentions were and I asked to make a partial payment and they refused to except that. Than they expressed other alternatives prior to auction and they never offered that as well. So my unit was sold and there was an overage which was due back to me. When I went to see the store manager Ms Kim she was rude and telling me that there was no credit due back to me when in fact there was because the letter clearly stated such credit. She made a big deal of it stating that she didn’t have the cash or she didn’t know how to do a credit. At the end of it she said the corporate office would half to send a check by mail which is fine but why did I half to come and spend an hour in the store for you to tell me this. I tried to call the store several times prior to going into the store. No one answered and I kept getting the stores voice mail. So not a good feeling dealing with U Hall at all. Not a pleasant experience at all. They could of worked out a plan for me especially by me being in the hospital after the auto accident.

So there are a couple of things here I would like to say. While the help I received was good, it took forever to get said help. I waited for 45 minutes before seeing the only rep behind the counter (2 days in a row on 09 and 10 Nov). Then on the second day after receiving my card to access the storage I had to wait for it to activate, I was unaware of this. So I tried to access the gate without luck and then went back inside to wait 20 more minutes to be let in by the rep. Also I was not briefed and am not sure how payments occur for storage. Like if it is all auto payments, or if I will be paying for 1st and last month, or need to pay monthly at the location. If that is the case I only need the unit for 2 months and need to end my contract now. So I will also need to read the contract in full to see if these questions are answered there. Other wise I had no issues.

The storage was great the truck however was the issue first a tire blew then head gasket all in the same day and then they couldn’t find anyone to transfer truck loads so we did it . The whole experience took a day of our travel with 3 kids and we had a deadline to meet .

Made a reservation at corporate office for Bragg Blvd location.... after I was informed that U-haul was giving a free 30 day storage to patrons in the path of Hurricane Florence. Down hill from there!

Good price for storage and easy to use. Staff had little sense of urgency or commitment, but the overall purpose was met. Thank you.

The wait to get anything done was awful. Not enough staff for that busy of a facility! The staff were very nice. Will go elsewhere for any uhaul needs in the future.

One of the best I have seen so far!!!! Would be a great enhancement for the store to build a complex storage at the back with several floors; they have the space to do so. Customer service is great!
