I've been doing business with uhaul for many years and I'm never disappointed but unfortunately my luck ran out. This location was convenient but the staff was "HORRIBLE ! " They made customers wait while the staff was joking around on their 2 way radios. When they finally got around to helping customers, one of the female clerks was extremely rude to the customers. After a long unnecessary wait, I was assigned a tow dolly. The dolly itself had a lot of damage to one plastic fender covers so I asked for a different dolly and was told that the good dollies are used for local tow only, so they did not change it. Then I had to hookup the equipment to my vehicle because the employee was clueless. Once I left the facility the equipment performed well until the running lights stopped working 9 hrs into my 18hr trip. I was pulled over by a state trooper in South Carolina who was kind enough to escort me off the highway without a issuing me a ticket, but did warm me that my vehicles would be impounded if he saw me on the highway again without proper lighting. I then called roadside assistance and waited 2 hrs for them to arrive but they could not repair the lights. So I had to sleep in my vehicle until daylight so that I could continue to my final destination. I will never rent from this location again. The app is slow and a bit fraustrating to use. Also, my van had used paper towel inside the cab, maybe pay better attention to during cleaning.

Was a guy who works in the front desk on 04/14/2024 at 10 am he was interfering when I was dealing with the girl who was helping me he was disrespecting me and we almost get in fight I never se e person like that I need someone to contact me soonest possible 313 915 8736 the way how he was acting it’s not acceptable specially, in this kind of business I rent there all the time I never ever have any problem with anybody so ever this person shouldn’t be there

The first carcdolly damaged by the wheel cover and didn't have running lights. I was give another car dolly and this on this one everything worked as it should.

The truck was a death trap on wheels. First the truck stalled(turned off) on me as soon as we got the truck. The guy there thought it was the gas because the truck was almost empty. Second the truck transmission was jumping. Third the truck stalled two more times but this time it happened while I was driving on the highway once when the truck was empty and again on the return trip with truck a full load, in the highway. I told the guy when I brought the truck back and I told the lady inside at the counter. Not once did they say let me get a manager to speak to you. All they said was sorry I will tell the mechanic. The truck stalling could've caused a big accident.

You guys rig the trucks so when you turn them on the trailer hitch is on which waste more gas and then you don’t tell the customer that you charging almost 5 dollars per gallon to fill it up you guys mislead people

The person in the yard that you pick up the truck from is rude and nasty and needs to be dealt with . Show people some of the features the truck has like the tow button and the different safety chains on tow car trailers.

The necessity for only using the mobile app to pick up equipment while in the rental office is very off putting to those who do not use apps of any kind on their phones. The process extended the time in the rental office to a very unnecessary amount of time.

You guys should consider having chairs for customers to sit and wait or having seats for disabled people like myself. Could hardly walk or stand on my two feet. But overall I had a successful experience thank you so much.

The Truck return was a bit of a mess. There was only one person checking trucks in while two others cleaned the trucks. The person that was checking people in also had a really bad attitude. He was quite rude to several customers, including myself. It really doesn't help retention when customers are treated that way.

The ladies at 2800 white plains working at 9am were diligent and taking care of a couple of customers at the same time... they showed diligence and teamwork to get the customers in and out with their rentals🙌🏽🙌🏽 The gentlemen handling the customers outside always works his tail off... I know because he has prepared my rentals for yrs at that location... appreciated that staff on sun 2 4 24

My storage unit went up in price in less than a year. I was promised a fixed rate for the first year yet that promise was not honored. Rodents visited my unit often as mice/rat droppings were all over my belongings. I would never store here again.

I don’t like the idea that people, who don’t have a unit at u-haul have a right to access the facility and no one from management acknowledges it;; or act like nothing is going on. I was informed about a week ago that some of the guys hanging around has a right to be around, in other words if they break in it’s ok, if they utilize and break anything or leave the bathroom nasty its ok, my feelings is that I don’t like it at all, that’s why I came frequently to the facility to see what’s really going on! Also I feel garbage compartments should be located around the facility to comply with persons moving in or leaving the facility,maybe it would cut down on the flow of steady garbage around the facility.

One of my biggest compliment to UHaul, was; I didn’t have to change my schedule to accommodate anything at all. My schedule fits right into theirs. Convenient, friendly, hardworking people; who also have a sense of humor. Simply excellent customer service, on any day! My experience was very pleasant and I don’t impress easily. Thanks U-Haul for making my experience with you, one less thing I had to worry about, because of how convenient and accommodating you were.

I really can say that I have had the worst experience in my life with the manager of this site of U-Haul. I was resting in the parking lot because I found no hotels in the Bronx New York on that Saturday morning so I had to stay in the truck until they open that U-Haul store I had spent 5 1/2 hours driving from Pittsburgh to New York City I was tired so I decided to go into the parking lot of U-Haul at 2800 White Plains I made the biggest mistake of my life, because around 6:20 o’clock I notice a woman coming towards the the facility. As soon as she got out of her car and started walking towards the entrances, I said good morning Madame! After that I ask her excuse me! do you work here? Oh my God I made the biggest mistake this woman was so nasty and so disrespectful to me that I had to close my car window not to hear her Verbal aggression. I told her that I will talk to the manager inside about this treatment But I was in shock she was the manager and she told me clearly that she was like the owner of the place! I wanted to leave but I needed to finish what I went there for, so I tried to put no mind. Oh my God for my surprise while I was in a line inside the store I’ve noticed that she was talking to her employees and looking at me I knew but I was already profiled it so sad to drive so long hours not get a place to sleep have to stay in the truck until they open the facility and just because you ask someone who is coming with a cup of coffee I’m a bad attitude you have to endure the disrespectful And rude treatment from the person that is supposed to represent a corporation how sad this was for me that is not business psychology that is aggression and abuse

My experience was below average. The card system miraculously went down after my reservation was booked and confirm online. This forced me to find cash at the last minute which was not easy. Random ppl hang out in the parking lot while I was packing my belongings into the truck. I felt very unsafe.
