The man picking up the boxes was having an issue. He blamed me for his difficulty loading them. The people on the phone were very nice and informative.
Virginia GibsonI was charged for extra miles when my contract had the allotted miles because I got a match with Budget. I went through Uhaul because of the good equipment, the dealer that dispatched added the miles on getting authorization from Uhaul corporate. When I checked the truck and the miles were right and there were no charges, When I checked my credit card statement, I was charged almost $1200 Uhaul went back and changed The miles. I will be filing a lawsuit as well as filing a complaint with the proper authorities. I have the receipt zeroed out with the miles and the receipt. This is illegal As well as wrong!!
Ronnie RagerI mean the brakes were horrendous and screamed when you used them. They also made a crazy noise if you touched them without the engine on. The power steering. Sounded like it would blow up at any moment. It was clean by U-Haul Standards, which is suffice to say better than a Waffle House in Tennessee at 3AM after a wild Friday night. Average UHaul experience, see you again in a few years when I get bored of this house.

I went to the location to drop it off and was told to just give the service man my key, im not sure if this is standard procedure however i feel like more should have been done to ensure that i would be refunded the amount i was told from the miles i did not use. i drove 21 miles and was still charged for 50 miles.

The customer service wasn’t the worst but it wasn’t the best. I would not recommend Uhaul to anyone because it is way more expensive than all of the new storage places popping up and they are not changing prices after a year.

After hours number for manager is disconnected. Site is littered with trash and sketchy people wandering around the building. Trying to speak with local store on the phone is nearly impossible. I'm told that when they are too busy, calls are forwarded to central line. When I call the cell number that is listed for manager, it is disconnected. When I ask for an email for local store, I am told that it is not possible to provide one. When I ask for a return phone call, I do not receive one. When I go to uhaul.com chat, no one responds on the other end. Any suggestions on how to speak with local location on the phone?
Casey Callanan | Online Move InChecked in online and got access code to the building as well as a locker number, but once we arrived after traveling across the country, after office hours on Sunday evening, the access code DID NOT work. So we then paid for a second locker online and checked in online again, and again we received a locker # and an access code to the building - and that one again DID NOT work! We called U haul customer service and after 40 mins on hold, they could not help us, we tried reaching the facility manager as his number was listed as an emergency number “reach out after hours for emergency” and his number was disconnected. We got into a building because other customers let us in, as we were standing there at 7pm with a trailer full of stuff to store. We accessed our lockers we paid for, alarm went off every single time we opened it, but nobody showed up to check in on it (not even once)! Some other people showed up with access code too and it did not work for them either.. If you can’t provide storage services, then don’t do it and stick to hauling.. we are moving out within the next few weeks and taking our business and money elsewhere. Thank you!

To be treated like crap just to throw away two items. At the end of the rental i was accused that I could be shutting out another person rental. It that were to happen. They would of have to have access to the building, access to the lock, then storage container was verified by employee. If all of these steps were done then how could o close out another person unit? Given the fact the system showed I’ve been to two other U-Haul locations that day. One including the rental truck used.

The only reason I'm getting this request now is because I finally added this storage unit to my online account. I've had this particular unit for over 9 months (I didn't just "move in") and have a unit in Gilbert AZ also. I don't understand why companies are sooooo..... concerned about their customer service after services are rendered. The customer service starts at the door. I've been using U-Haul for DECADES, literally; both storage units and trucks. Why are you so interested in my opinion now? you haven't been for the last 26 years.

You should post signs at the loading dock, for trucks ONLY. This past Saturday and Sunday there were cars parked in the loading dock area, and NOT using the side parking spots. Thank You for providing a secure and climate controlled environment.
