Mathew DI lost the key to the rental while in a local store. I called roadside assistance. They mentioned to me that they were having a had time finding someone to meet me and make a new key for the rental. I waited over an hour, and roadside assistance still could not find someone! I canceled their service. The next day I went early in the morning to the place where I was shopping. I found the key and returned the rental truck back to the place where I rented the truck.

Derick S1. Train staff to keep AGE of customer in mind. We’re 73 assigning #101 caused inconvenience walking extra feet! My husband uses a cane. Though we still walk - doing work while walking is best to keep distance short!! I was shown the map . Though it showed it on the corner & being the first “I didn’t think to take the entrance door into consideration! 2.Light inside the unit would help tremendously!! 3. Staff - Talk to each other! I set up storage. The staff lady said she’d leave the “ clicker under cabinet”due to my daughter & son in-law were driving in the 27ft U-Haul truck to drop off some items from out of town. When my daughter arrived first staff lady was not around & no one knew anything about it!! No clicker was given to her!! The following day I drove by there & the staff member looked under the counter & THERE IT WAS!! Mush easier to enter w truck! We will continue using U-Haul.we’re not done moving. Hopefully one more truck load! We’re learning as we go. It would help if staff were more in tuned to what a customer needs to make the moving easier & less stressful!

TANA GYesterday I was stranded with a trailer I had rented because my truck broke down. I call to ask for assistance but was denied. I had to pay a wrecker company to get it returned to the yard. Spence it is ‘owned’ by U-Haul

Paul OVery bad experience half of my belongings were damaged. The storage unit ,, had water damage and I was never told about an insurance when I rented the unit. The manager Joe. Was a worst experience I ever had with him he is rude he doesn’t introduce himself he always has a mad face staff is not friendly. I am going to call someone else to report this. Very very bad service. And I was there for 2 years and a half . I will never take my business there ever again…

He was walking out when I pulled into the parking lot and I even called him and told him I was on my way. I had to ask the other guy that just happened to be dropping off another trailer as well to help me do it cuz y'all don't have props to hold it up off the ground and easier to take off the hitch.

Jackson WI asked to look at some trailer options thinking that one of the three employees at the counter would take the time to show me but instead stayed inside while i looked at the trailer alone. Also, the guy at the drop off locatiion was concerned on how the emergency brake chain was connected. Apparently i was fortunate that the trailer brakes did not lock up on me during transport.
Max HTruck reeked of smoke. When questioned, the attendant just shrugged it off. After I left, I found trash and leftover food behind the seats. it was not cleaned out. Gave it to me with less than a 1/8 of a tank of gas so had to get gas right away (low fuel warning was on). Returned with the same amount and after paying nearly $2000 for the rental, they nickel and dimed me for another $7 in gas at the drop off in Portsmouth NH. Glad I don't have to rent trucks often.

EDWARD MMany issues. My order was not complete. I ordered an appliance dolly but it was not there when I pick up the truck at night. Followed up to fix to issue but no help and no appologies. I could not cancel the order becuase I have to move on that day. The left mirror side on the passenger side was loose and could not use it. It lacks safety issue. Absolutely poor.

IRENE MYour website states that a 6 x 12 enclosed trailer is 5'5" tall. We rented the trailer based on this height of 65 inches. Well apparently that is for a trailer with 2 doors, NOT for the one with a "rollup" door. The trailer we rented had a roll up door and we could not fit 2 of our items in it because of this. You really need to specify this as it caused us a real issue!
PAUL VThe first truck you gave me had a front running light hanging out to the side and the back was filled with gravel. I refused that truck. The second truck was clean in the back but the cab floor was sticky from possibly a spilled soft drink from a previous user. Also the check engine light was on. Someone should be responsible for checking out the vehicles before you rent them out.
jay cDuring the summer times the air conditioning facility was always hot. Never got compensated for those months that it was hot. The air conditioning building next to the office was cold. I called numerous times and spoke with a rude lady that stated the facility would get air conditioning fixed; it was hot for 3 months. I moved out on Monday, 01/22/2024, I have the receipt.

Took care of all of our needs, including walking to the back of the storage lot to make sure we found the right area for our rV and got it in properly. We mentioned to him that there was some garbage collecting at the back of the property, and when we returned a few days later, the whole back lot was clean and neat. Storage was easy; and returning the key fob was easy.

Left us before the job was completed, were standoffish, confrontational and lied about the condition of our storage unit. They didn’t have masks on when they arrived-despite a staff member having covid. Two teenagers with no experience or people skills. Our house looks like a bomb went off. Hoping we are not exposed to covid as one refused to wear his mask appropriately. Please fire Guardian Services. Very pleased with Uhaul and its staff. Move out paperwork was a breeze and they were soooo nice!!!!

The late fees and lien threats were obnoxious when each week I called I was told the account was closed and owed nothing to just get larger late fees the following week. Never could reach local store directly always had corporate even after calling local store.

But over all I did walk there the first time just to be told that. Then I just went home booked it online the lady recognizing said we're at full capacity, so I then told the other sales person my recipe and informed them online has them available. Just to inform them not to turn down potential income for the company they represent.

He spent too much time on the premises and not in the office helping customers and he told me that my storage unit was way in the back several buildings over and I walked there in the pouring rain while he drove the rental truck that I just rented so he would stay dry and he didn’t even offer me a ride in the rain. My storage unit was actually 300 feet from the front desk and inside and dry. He wasn’t aware of its location in the least but sent me on.a wet search and he wasn’t apologetic for his lack of knowledge or help while I got drenched, unnecessarily.

They gave me a payoff amount and said that when I pay this, my debt is paid. Months later, I received a notice saying that I still owed money. I went to talk to them, and the manager agreed that I was now in debt to Uhaul again. He said it was because I left a dresser in the unit. I told him that I did not have a vehicle large enough to remove the dresser. Also, when I paid my debt and was told I was clear, the manager at that time DID NOT say I had to remove every single item. I only left one item, the dresser. Now, the manager has put a lean against my name. This is wrong. I was told that I was in the clear. I do not feel I should have to pay this money when we signed saying I was out of debt.
