However, after a few gas fill ups, I was walking around the truck doing a quick inspection and noticed that the front tires were showing the steel core! I called roadside assistance and the waited 90 minutes for a service provider who ended up canceling without letting us know. 12 hours and a hotel stay later we finally got 2 new tires and back on the road. However, after only 375 miles to our destination, one of the brand new tires was already down to half tread. The ride was extremely bumpy and needed an alignment terribly (the service provider who changed the tires agreed). This entire situation not only added an entire day to our travels, but should never have occurred because we were told that the truck was recently serviced.

The CSR helped me get the truck I needed from a location about 30 miles away, was kind enough to adjust mileage & assist with making sure I got what I needed. I would recommend this individual facility and would do business with them again! However, the shipping process and the corporate operation was TERRIBLE! The fact that my U-Box was lost for several days and I was kept in the dark about the situation was extremely disappointing. Corporate literally called me two days AFTER my box was delivered (I was aware of this due to the receiving store calling me) apologizing that they still had no idea where the box was... I will 10/10 not utilize the U-Box services if I move long distance again.

Arrived at the facility to pick the truck only to find out that they had rented the 26 foot trucks and only had in town trucks. Why should I reserve one if you’re not going to honor the reservation. I had to bring it back from my new home and get charged for travel miles both ways. The next time I need to rent a truck I will find an alternative to Uhaul.

Almost impossible to talk to a person at the location you call. I will NEVER use U Haul to ship long distance again and will warn others if the same.

The people were very nice but still frustrating.

No posting stating that checking out was turning on security, but signage stating that not turning on security would result in a lock out, leading to worry of being locked out of the unit due to no way to turn on security.

The customer service isn’t helpful at all and get lead on a goose chase but I’m still expected to pay full amount when I don’t get anything near the amount of services, I was told I would get, but never received. Probably will never do business with U-Haul storage ever again unless you have something to fix this other than that, you have a lot to work on and less you are going to give me some of my money back, I suggest she just uses his food for thought, and do not reply to me, because I have nothing nice to say to you or your company. Thanks for the terrible service and having to pay for things. I was promised that I never received like being able to go to my storage units whenever I needed to go there not when you allow me to.

Very nice lady but didn't seem like she knew or understood what to do as far as operation of how to create a lease on our storage shed. I would expect that a GM would already know how to navigate the computer processes without having to rely on her staff that she is supervisory to. The two other staff present understood more of how things worked and could tell the manager what to do. Literally it seemed as "the Pee-Ons where telling the Pisser how to, and wich way to Pee". She - the Manager, was very nice and polite, very humorous and down to earth, but was not very knowledgeable. The other two guys where very friendly and customer ready. Good luck Uhaul.

He got us into a larger unit, but I'm glad we were there during office hours. It's a very busy place, difficult to maneuver around other trucks to get to our unit. Climate controlled is a plus. I was in the process of settling the final bill when the general manager Tom Lambert came over and informed me that I was in the wrong parking spot (as if that matters. A parking spot is a parking spot.) I told him that we were done anyways. We weren't coming back. I was expecting some kind of thank you for your business or a have a good day. Nope! Tom just turned around and left. I guess customer service is not important to him.

There were three customers waiting for service; the first of which were taking a large amount of time to conclude their business. Your employee handled herself calm and collected. She understood what was needed, explained it thoroughly and continued on quick as she could. Nicely done!!
