I made the reservation to pick-up the equipment in Highlands Range, CO, mins from my work and apartment. The day before the move I received an email stating I had to pick up in SALIDA, CO which is an hour and 15 mins from my work. When I called they said I needed to be there by 2:00 because they close early on Sat. I explained that I work until 1:00. They also said the equipment was never at highlands ranch. I was upset and basically told there was nothing I could do. I apologize but I swore. I then went online and realized the trailor was available in Castle Rock, which was closer and open.later. I am glad I didn't listen to the guy in Salida, but took the matter into my own hands.

The guy with long hair was rude for no reason. He had no idea what he was talking about but insisted on interrupting our conversation anyway then stormed off when he couldn’t comprehend the nature of our discussion. Josh was helpful and resolved my issue. My card still has a $191 over charge and multiple $11 insurance charges that should have been credited back. I’m wondering how long it take to get those refunded.

The woman inside that day who helped me was rude and charged me 30 dollars for being mislead about the drop off times. Wouldn’t recommend unless she wasn’t working with Uhaul any longer. Share business tactics to not allow someone their full business day with their rental. Make it more clear at least.

Allyson RReceived a call from UHaul on Wed. confirming my pick up on Thurs. Call on Thurs stated my "Guaranteed Reservation" 26ft truck is not available and they were only providing a 20ft. The individual I spoke with was not helpful and stated over and over "Its not my fault there's nothing can do." Poor customer service nad I had to force her to find a 26ft truck elsewhere. She did not even want to look. I found one on my app and had to make her change my reservation for that location 35 miles away. I do not believe the individual I was "working" with was at the pick up location she sounded more or a central dispatch person.I still needed to go to the original location for the trailer I also rented. Very poor customer support or empathy for the corporate individual I delt with. Not even a apology or "accommodation to help the burden.

George Q | First ImpressionsI was told my truck had the ordered dolly included and that the tank was full. 20 minutes later when at my loading location there was no dolly and when I looked at the gas gauge I had half tank of fuel. I paid $34 to top off the tank. When I brought it up to agent on 800 line I was told I was out of luck if I didn’t have a picture of the dash showing the gauge. I had a receipt showing the gas I purchased, and was told that was not enough to ‘prove’ my story. Terrible customer service! I almost went with Penske…obviously I should have. This is the third terrible experience I’ve had with you guys!
David NHave both truck and car transport at the same location. Also, it would have been BETTER had y’all mentioned that once you attach the auto transport the ramp to the truck is inoperable. U-Haul should know better to explain this limitation and allow for a better client experience

The boxes arrived 12/4 in Castle Rock but they did not deliver on time due to driver availability and could not pick up early for same reason. Then charged me twice for storage for empty boxes they had picked up! When I tried to get my money back I had to talk to several different people and call the corporate number before a refund was issued seven days later! There is no general manager for this location, to complain to.

The staff at Castle Rock Moving and Storage can corroborate on this location changing my contract. Also telling me my original dolly trailer reservation was not appropriate for a 2013 Ford Edge. I towed a 2009 VW Routan from CA to CO in 2020 with a dolly trailer with some challenges but ultimately safely. Liars.

Charles B | Overall ExperienceWe were fraudulently charged for disposing of 3 mattresses that we did not own, touch, move, dispose of, or in any other way have any contact with. It took 3 weeks and 3+ hours of phone calls to finally get this somewhat resolved. Pamela, the PM, was rude and unhelpful. Angel is one of the worst customer service people we have ever had the misfortune to deal with. The entire facility staff were rude, unhelpful, disrespectful, combative, and wholly unapologetic for these fraudulent charges levied against us. In addition, while this was being worked out, we were locked out of our storage unit and were threatened with eviction and the removal of belongings. The assistant manager, Jimmy, was the one and only remotely helpful person in this experience. I doubt we would have the charges reversed if it had not been for him. However, as a result of this fiasco, we have left the facility and are storing our belongings elsewhere. This entire experience has left us irritated, angered, and disgusted. As a result, we will never utilize UHaul for any reason in the future. We were the wronged party in this matter and keeping $300 for 2 weeks while rudely and disrespectfully yanking us around (and then acting in the end as though a favor had been done) is truly incomprehensible to us. In the end, we regretted not involving law enforcement in the matter as we firmly believe that the staff is running some kind of scam on innocent renters.
