The Clementon, NJ U-Haul is great. I had the U-box transported from Florida almost 4 years ago. I never had ill feelings leaving the box there. Whenever I needed access it was there. I was able to finally, empty the box. The Staff if very professional and able to resolve issues that may arise. If I need any other service I will call this U-haul!

I was charged for a two dollies and 2 dozen pads that I did not use and was charged for an extra day that I did not want. I was told these would not show up on the final receipt and yet they were still there.

At first my key for a truck did not match my contract truck. The girl in the office quickly resolved this issue and gave me the correct key. Also the truck was very loud; perhaps the muffler was rotted or a part of the exhaust system. Finally the check engine light was on the entire time. This is the first time that I was less than 100% satisfied with U-Haul.

I truly enjoyed working with this location. I forget it's there with another U-Haul closer to my home. They really and truly made my move smooth and carefree. I appreciated it more than anyone could ever understand. I was a one way leaving the state and rented a trailer.

There is nothing that could be done any better by anyone, anywhere. Every step of the way, my move ran into problems and obstacles that seemed to cascade into failure. With each situation, somehow UHaul was able to create a solution that cleared the way. Every single person from the beginning call to the last minute change of drop off location at , were superstars to me. We have various physical disabilities and this trip was a traumatic experience for us. The entire... and I mean "entire", team of UHaul members that I met or spoke with made this arduous journey have a safe conclusion. I hopefully will not be moving again, and definitely not so far, but I will never forget how your staff, company and even the equipment had my back 100% of the way. I take "no" credit for the 1000 miles of driving this took. I apologize for bringing religious beliefs into this, but I have no doubt that God did the driving for me the whole way. I also believe he guided me on who to call. As always .... he was correct. My heartfelt " THANK YOU" , to each one of you that helped us. You will never know how much of a difference you made in our lives. I am recommending UHAUL for any situation they can be used for.

You put a 40yrd dumpster in the middle of the facility and many people thought it was a courtesy to allow people to get rid of stuff. A week later you put a sign on it saying there would be a$150 fine for using it. That sign should have been there when they dropped the dumpster off. Just one more way to scam your customers....

they did not have my reservation that i had made 2 nights before with the main Uhaul #. Evidently it had been moved to another town 30 minutes away. No one had called me the night before to inform me of confirmation of my rental as i was told they would. Seems there is very poor communication with this company

the left side Taillight of the Tow Dolly I rented fell out while driving - I was being held with Duct Tape. I made the U-Haul location aware, and basically, what I got was that they knew about it, but did not previously attempt to fix. The Equipment was checked by them before I was allowed to take it. But obviously, the light was not an issue (since it was taped and holding at that time). Also, I'd recommend that this store particular employees get some type of training in Customer Service. the customer service approach is below standards. My next time, I'll probably go somewhere else.

Heather, who is the manager at U-Haul storage in Clementon, New Jersey is the best manager that you could have hired. She’s not only the best manager you could have hired, but she was a great help during this whole year that I stored my property at this facility. This past year was a hard year for me with my move but she made sure to make me feel comfortable about leaving my things here and answered all my questions that I had before I decided to store my stuff. Just because of her great customer service I will be sure to send business your way. DIRECTLY to Clementon U-Haul and storage. I couldn’t have had a better experience while going through some real hard times. Thank you again Heather for making my experience pleasant!! You’re the best!!! Hello. The storage unit was fine. The office staff are also cordial (it’s not always easy given the nature of their job). My experience would have been even better if they prorated my charges for my last month. They charged me for a full month on my last month despite only staying a few days into the month.

All of my stuff got ruined it had mold on it it had rat poop everywhere it was dirty. I had mold on my furniture I had boxes that had been chewed through I had my baby pictures that were eating up by mice I had my stuff in there for 5 years nobody wanted to help me just because there wasn't insurance on it I should not have to have insurance when I pay for your facility to take care of my stuff worst experience worst help of everybody at around. I mise well left my stuff out side that's how good your storage units are. I told the staff about it and all they cared about was if I had insurance. Didn't want to help me didn't want to give me my money back or anything horrible company horrible horrible like I said I should have just put my stuff out side and it would have been kept just as nice. I spent a lot of money over 5 years to keep my stuff good and it's all ruined because of your company

No help from staff , uhaul should really look into how you are billing your customers, after the first month it should be prorated. Why should I have to pay a full month if I was only there an extra 5 days and you know that unit will be rented out. I rent a lot of trucks and storage from uhaul but going forward uhaul storage will be my very last option. I will drive an extra 15 miles not to use uhaul storage.

What could’ve been a quality storage unit turned into a complete and utter scam. I am unsure if management changed since the year long self-storage contract, but after being assured that we would have dumpster access for a small fee, I was greeted with a bait and switch. I was told no customers are allowed to utilize the dumpsters on site, even for a fee I would’ve happily paid. With increasing costs for even the smallest storage units and failure to uphold their own policies they had posted on the wall behind them, I left this particular moving and storage service with a sour taste in my mouth. Keep your options and available services up to date, UHaul of Clementon. You scammed a working graduate student out of $50 when she would’ve happily cleaned the unit out with access to one of your dumpsters for the $9.00 fee posted on the wall behind the clerk’s desk.

All in the process was kind of chaos on part of me and my son who is the driver of the truck. Planning of moving was brief. Do not have enough knowledge how we work with Uhaul. Calling for further assistance is a long waiting for more than one hour or less two hours. Movers were not prompt as schedule. The took an hour of service instead of two more hours. I am not happy with the movers . They have other commitment in the hour as schedule. Expectations were not met . Time set after 2 pm they arrive 7 pm. Almost of the truck stuff was unloaded by my son alone. He and I are frustrated with the experience of the mover.

The guy that was working there was not helpfull at all. He did even tell me what unit I had. I had to read through the paperwork to find out. He also made me pay for an extra day of truck rental because he didn't want to check the truck in even though I was on the property with the truck fully refueled and rented a storage unit there because I had to offload. On top of that he didn't check the truck in until 30 min after I left the property. I will never use these services again if this is how they treat people.

I rented a storage on Tuesday never put anything in and that Saturday I called to cancel because on Friday I got the keys to a new apartment I thought it would be a couple weeks or months that’s why I got storage but I called 4 days later and they kept my $90 they could of just charged me for those 4 days people are on fixed income struggling with work due to Covid they have no consideration I will never recommend them or ever use them I rather give my things away

My unit was covered in mouse pee and poop and the staff told be it was my problem bc I didn’t have insurance in my unit. I payed $100 a month for 4 years for U-haul to keep my stuff safe and protected, why should I have to pay more for insurance. If I was told in the beginning that I needed insurance for a rodent problem, I would never have put my stuff there in the first place! I had to throw out 90% of my things! Now I have to spend more money to buy everything! $5,000 wasted! The worst customer service and company ever! I will be looking further into this as well.

From the outside looking in, it looks amazing. And it is to a certain extent. The employees were helpful when needed, and the overall place was convenient and kept clean. Although, throughout my experience of just short of a year, I’ve had many problems with rats in my storage. If counted, I probably found over 2lbs of rat feces in my lifetime at Uhaul. As well as I found a ton of sunseed shells (the rats feed) throughout the storage unit... I changed the poison box that they gave me numerous of times. But that didn’t stop the rats. I found a pile of rat hair in a box of clothes that I’ve had in the storage as well. But when brought up to the employees of Uhual, they said they can’t do anything about it. Thankfully, I was leaving the storage unit a few days after I found the rat hair in my box of clothes. I don’t know if this rat problem was necessarily a Uhual problem, or maybe there was just a hole in the storage. But it would’ve been nice to receive some type of compensation or anything to relieve my stress of the problem. Because it was very upsetting to see my hard worked items have tons of rat feces all over them.

Too many times the gate didn't work, as in, it failed to open after inputting my access code. Other times gate didn't open to allow me to leave the storage area. When gate was inoperable, staff had no other choice than to leave storage area unsecured by leaving gate in the 'open' position. Met a couple of poorly trained employees who weren't ready to work alone.
