When I arrived at my drop off in the Brentwood location , there were two guys and a girl in the office Kristen I believe, the tall dark man was rude and abrupt, was disrespectful and arrogant. Questioning me about my contract and not enough gas in the truck. The young man inside was on the computer , having to pull answers from him when he should have been speaking to me and informing me , they charged my card on file without telling me, handed me a receipt that you couldn't read and I asked to explain he just looked at me. When I said how unprofessional and rude they were to the customer they just laughed at me. We asked for a supervisor or manager to report the service neither guys helped but the young lady gave me a name. I will never recommend this area of service, I believe you should have better people who value the positions they get paid for and train them to service the customer with a friendly introduction and good customer communication. They are representing your company and they did not by any means make it pleasant or friendly nor helpful.

Picking up the tow dolly was fine, returning it was not. Employees were not interested in customer service! In fact I entered the store and instead of being greeted, I was told to remain outside with the equipment! Very rude!

The manager Jon Y. is awesome. We rented a 26’ truck to empty our units and he pulled the truck near the units for us as the driveways were narrow and difficult to navigate. The staff were all extremely helpful. Fantastic service.

Service was great upon taking delivery and return, return was completed in less than 5 minutes. I do question why my rental time was not 24 hours from the time of rental. I had to reserve the trailer for 7:30 as 8:00 was not an option, when I left the facility at 8:20 I was told the trailer was due back at 7:30 the following morning, not 8:20.

Essentially, you are spending $110 or over $1,200 on something the size of a closet (at best). As a result, you want to use the space as short as possible. U-Haul needs to consider tiered pricing based on length of rental.

The truck smelled like something chemical covered up with air freshener. The breaks were in need of looking at. Sometimes you feel like you're not going to stop. The engine. Omg. Sounded like it was going to blow up. The guy who rented me the truck was ANAZING! I wish I'd gotten his name. Based on him alone this would be a 5 star review. However everyone else gives you a hard time. Just to do it. Unnecessary when people are already stressed when moving.

I am not happy with my experience with uhaul. Moving is stressful and uhaul made it more stressful. You changed the location on me 24 hours before I was schedule to pick up the truck. The location was farther away and put me in bad traffic, which could have been avoided with my original location. I also ordered a mattress cover that I did not receive, which is unacceptable. Getting a $7 refund is a joke when I was without a cover for the trip. I was told to go to the original location to pick it up the day I was leaving?! That makes no sense. Making me go to two different locations the morning of my departure is ridiculous. I was also charged a cleaning fee when the truck was clean! In fact, it was cleaner than when I received it because my son swept it out when we got it! Various family members (and some friends) have upcoming moves this summer, and I will let them know they should go with Penske and avoid Uhaul at all costs.

Brandon was very helpful. Upon returning my trailer, there were issues with my running board and brake lights. When I arrived they were busy, but Brandon took the time to look into the issue and took the time and care needed to get the issue fixed. He not only fixed it, but he actually improved upon the previous work done. I appreciate him, his knowledge, and willingness to help.

The parking lot at the storage facility was very tight for our 26 foot rental truck, and the entry was blocked by several other trucks, but the manager Jon was awesome and pulled our truck all the way in and to our unit skillfully. It was a tight lot with many rentals on it, but the staff made it easy. There were a few other logistics issues/IT glitches as well, but the staff fixed each of these and solved all problems. Many thanks to Jon and his team!

I can't believe you charged me $11 more for gas. It wasn't that far off from being exactly the same as when I got the truck. The truck's engine light was on the whole time and there was a crack in the windshield. How about you forgive the $11 fuel charge for the shotty equipment?

Terrible online interface with UHaul and moving company affiliate, Mindful Movers. Truck was fine and as expected. However, available times did not line up with Mindful Movers schedules. Movers repeatedly pushed back start time and given the hard return time from UHaul, no-showed for loading and unloading. Two almost 60 year old men left to load and unload a 3 bedroom apartment with stairs at both ends of the move. Worst move experience ever (I’ve moved 16 times in the last 40 years). The final nail was receiving a text message from UHaul 10 minutes after dropping off the truck that we could keep the truck up to an additional 24 hours at no extra charge (!). Much too little far too late.

Jon leads by example works hard and his employees work equally as hard. They all know their jobs and maintain the facility and fleet with attention to detail. I would recommend this facility to anyone. They go above and beyond helping customers. If you haven’t noticed these day it is almost impossible to find good customer service in any business and companies it’s lost art “customer service”.

I am giving a bad rating because when I got there, they had no record of my reservation. They had to redo the whole thing even though I showed them my confirmation. That was very time-consuming. Plus, I’m being charged for the next month rent even though I moved out. So this has been worrisome.

Website is awful. Still unable to login for 2 months. Bad / unsatisfactory experiences constantly while connecting for service on the phone. Supporting (IT) systems is truly awful and no one laid any attention to it for years. This is a place to stay away from. Not at all happy.

Well I moved out on 7/21 not 8/21. And my unit was flooded and destroyed a lot of my personal belongings. I had no way to be compensated for the damage. Which should be the responsibility of the facility since the unit was damaged.

Found to have a screw in vehicle’s rear tire after loading trailer and driving down the road. Returned to Mallory U-haul. They were very helpful and prompt in helping me remove trailer to allow my tire to be fixed and then upon return reattached everything. Tough complication was handled very well especially given that it was high 90 degrees and miserable outside.

Move in date was Friday, Dec 16th. I came in to check in at desk and told girl my ex was coming to pick up truck so I didn't hav to drive. I also switched my storage unit from a 10x10 to a 10x15 with her. When ex got there, she told him a unit that was a 10x10 unit, not the correct one, the 10x15 that was just changed. All the stuff was cramped in storage causing some damages. He had ask for a bigger unit, she said there was not any. Sorry, she did not pay attention to what she changed. It was busy but still should have been doe correct. Free 1st month with truck rental and would hope a 2nd month as well based on this incident. Johanna Thompson

Someone designed this huge facility with only ONE elevator, which often breaks down. Staff is slow to get repairs done. I was even told one time to use the stairs when I was loading my 3rd floor unit. Unbelievable! The dock is frequently full of UHaul equipment being parked there simply for lack of room in the lot. An inaccessible loading dock is unacceptable considering the money I paid you. The new manager has business cards that say “text me” and I’ll help, but he rarely answers calls, texts or emails.

The manager John was excellent and helpful and courteous as well as his entire team and staff. We rented there for more than a year we had two storage units and they were top notch professionals. They were always courteous friendly helpful and even when we got our trucks John went to great lengths to make sure everything was right and our vehicles were available to be used and the individuals working were very knowledgeable and courteous and helpful. . I would recommend the Brentwood Yuhong Tennessee to anyone they are top notch and professional and helpful and courteous and friendly.

I was told my unit could fit the contents of a 1200sqft apartment, my apartment was only 760sqft and I couldn’t fit a lot of my stuff in and had to stack things up to the ceiling. Everything was great other than the misrepresentation.

The unit was filled with rat poop. Whether or not you sweep out the other units before people see, you have a rat infestation, and that’s disgusting. Throwing poison in there doesn’t change the fact I had to worry about all of my stuff getting ruined by rats or their bacteria. The staff is great. The facility is not.

We could rarely find a place to park at the unloading zone to load and unload or load items. Most spaces were blocked by Uhaul trucks and a couple of cars that had rented trucks, but were not actively unloading or loading and needing the dock. On several different occasions we asked that someone please move a UHaul vehicle so we could pull up to the large loading dock (it fits about 8-10 vehicles, all spaces blocked) and they would not. They were never busy, so it was not a staffing issue. One time, they witnessed us struggling to get things to our vehicle (if not pulled to the dock it is hard to get to. your car) and one guy just kept using a week blower on the drive when we had begged them to move a truck so we could unload easily. Will NEVER go back to that location. STAY AWAY if you need access to your indoor storage facility!

The only issue I had was with the A/C. My unit was on the 3rd floor and last summer the AC broke. It was out for a few weeks, I believe, and I was told they were trying to fix it. I don’t Know exactly how long it was broken, but I was concerned about my items. Fortunately nothing got ruined. Coming into 2021 summer, it still feels warmer (over 85) in the area so not sure if AC is still broken. You may want to check it out.

Absolutely wonderful experience. The price was competitive, but what really drew me in was the facility itself. It was neat and well equipped. Unloading the truck and bringing my belongings into my storage unit was so easy here, as the facility had every cart I could possibly need. It took only a handful of trips for a full 3 bedroom apartment. I could not have asked for a better experience. Oh and the staff were so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable; they were able to help me choose the perfect sized unit.

The size of lot the business as a whole is being ran on is entirely too small. The employees park in the customer parking, and there are trucks and trailers in front of all of the storage units which not only disallows ANY PARKING from being available but also, requires a call ahead to the facility, to request access in the front of your unit (to which no one answers). Although there are one or two employees there that are actually mindful of their difficult scenario and try to make it the best possible for the customer, the people who do work there have been put in a very difficult situation from corporate.

I was assigned a card swipe to check in each time I access my unit. Card would not work. They said dont worry about it, just set the alarm off. Was not a pleasant first experience. Hope they fix soon.
